Chapter 14: I will not let you off
Nu Yang was a bit busy handling some important matters when his phone rang, it was the manager of the club.
Many people flocked the club everyday and a place like this with such people also attracted a lot of trouble.
The manager was probably calling to report a problem that had occured.
He pressed the receive button and the manager's hurried voice poured in, "Sir...we have received an alarm from room 25...it seems urgent"
The alarm systems were fitted to notify the management of any danger that was happening.
Nu Yang asked, "Have you gone there already?"
The manager replied, "Not yet sir but the security team 9is coming up right now."
Nu Yang sent an okay but before he hung up he remembered that Lin Ye had told him that she was going to room 25, was there some problem that had occurred to her?
His heart leaped his his throat. He quickly gave out orders, "Tell them to hurry up, meet me at the entrance of room 25!"
If something happened to Lin Ye he did not know what he would do.
Other than being the person he liked, Lin Ye had also saved his life at one point so her getting into trouble when he was near was something he could never tolerate.
His mind was already imagining the things he would do to Fu Mingli if he found out that he had touched even a speck on Lin Ye, she was his bottomline.
He hurried over to the room and found the security team already there. They did not have time to chit chat.
The door was broken and the scene that was seen by the people shocked everyone.
The person who Nu Yang was worried about was currently holding another woman. She was wiping her face softly with the back of her hand.
The rest of the room was in chaos. Cheng Yu had fainted while Fu Mingli was rolling on the floor in unbearable pain. His face was swollen beyond recognition you would have to look closely to make sure it was him.
What in the world happened here?
He walked over to Lin Ye, "Pretty doctor Lin, what happened here?"
Lin Ye lied, "When I got here, they were fighting, I don't even understand what is going on and that is why I pressed the alarm."
She made it seem like she was just a bystanding witness of a couples quarrel!-
Fu Mingli who was on the floor rolled over in anger. He wanted to say something but his mouth could not open properly so what came out was mumbles that could not be deciphered.
Nu Yang ignored him because he had never liked him in the first place so his focus was solely on Lin Ye, "Oh is that so? I thought something happened to you!"
He had been truly worried when he was rushing over.
Lin Ye smiled, "There is nothing to worry about. Can you please help me send my friend to the hospital? The two idiots in the room gave her a lot to drink, she seems to be unconscious."
Lin Ye hoisted Wen Shao Feng up. The liquor was too hard for her so the effects had been too much for her to handle.
Lin Ye felt anger bubble up once more but she calmed herself down before something worse happened.
Nu Yang helped her up and ordered some men to take Wen Shao Feng to the opposite infirmary.
The two of them walked behind the men. Luckily the VIP rooms were secluded and private so many people did not see them. If not, with Nu Yang's status, many things could have gone wrong tonight.
Not many people knew that Nu Yang also owned Fig Tree so if they also knew that he was here then things would become truly chaotic.
"Thank you Nu Yang..." She said suddenly.
Nu Yang looked at her and smiled. There were no words he could say but he knew that what he did was still far from what she had done for him previously.
Lin Ye had just taken some steps in front when she felt some force throw her back. Her body was pushed down and her back hit the rail with a bang.
Pain immediately engulfed her whole body like sin and she cursed softly.
Nu Yang did not have time to react. He only saw Lin Ye fall down. If it was not from the rail she would have toppled over to the ground floor!
He turned around and saw Fu Mingli who had suddenly managed to get up.
He wanted to take Lin Ye and Wen Shao Feng out first so he could deal with Fu Mingli later but who knew that he would get out at such a time!
He ran over to Lin Ye and helped her up and then turned around when he heard Fu Mingli roar;
"You think you can get away from me? I will make sure you die today!!!"
