Chapter 9: 9 Imaginary?
Erwin got up early and when to the commute bathroom in the express after he'd done that he when back to his and change into the provided clothes placed in the closet and went around the express.
The first thing he saw when going to around the Parlor Car was Himeko sipping into a coffee early in the morning.
He ask with a calm tone "Good morning miss Himeko" then watched as she turned her head to look at Erwin as said in a tired tone "Good morning to you to Erwin " then switch to and expressive tone "How's your first day in the express so far."
With Erwin answering in a nervous tone said "Miss Himeko there is something I want to ask you about something".
Himeko responded "Oh is there a problem with the express I recon?".
"Oh no its not that but a dream I have" Erwin said.
Himeko knowingly sees his nervousness asked "Then is there something in your dream that you find hard to explain?".
Erwin thought on how he should explain it, when he heard a familiar old tone and a door opening before that.
"Seems like our new member is getting well acquainted with you Himeko"
Welt who just came out the door holding a cup of coffee himself.
"Well good morning to you to Welt but we are already acquainted with Erwin as he was just explain to me in the subject of his dreams" Himeko responded after greeting welt.
Welt sipping his cup during Himeko's small explanation and gone to sit at the couch and expressed "It is okay for me to listen too".
Erwin agreed as he exclaimed that they saved him from a life beyond the endless space so he in turn are grateful to them but also said that he needed to let this out of his mind as he didn't know what he is aware of the dream he had.
Himeko and Welt pondered with Himeko speaking up first "Well what is your dream about Erwin if were able to deduce what the problem is maybe the ship's Archives may have information about this supposed dream"
Erwin hesitated for a moment, contemplating how to articulate the vivid and perplexing dream that had been haunting his thoughts. He took a deep breath and began recounting the details of his dream to Himeko and Welt.
"In my dream," Erwin started slowly, "I find myself in a vast, desolate sea surrounded by swirling cosmic fluids. The surroundings are thick with an energy I haven't seen before maybe you guys would know, and I sense an overwhelming feeling of isolation. As I see my surrounding, I saw across a colossal bright yellow tree with its roots deep beneath the sea trying to extending it across the sea while the sea itself is trying to flood the tree."
"As I observe this surreal scene, the tree and the sea seem to be engaged in an eternal struggle. The tree's roots rooting the sea, reaching out towards the sea as if trying to grasp something beyond its reach. Meanwhile, the sea crashes against the roots, attempting to engulf the tree in its powerful waves."
Welt sipped his coffee thoughtfully, while Himeko furrowed her brow, deep in thought. Erwin's description had sparked a curiosity within them.
Erwin continued, "The strange part is, as I stand there witnessing this natural conflict, I feel a sense of urgency and a whispering voice from the tree that seems to guide me. It's almost like the tree itself is alive, and they want to convey something important. But every time I get close to understanding, the dream abruptly ends, leaving me with a lingering sense of unfulfilled purpose and obtaining something when I was given a purpose."
Himeko exchanged a glance with Welt, who had a contemplative expression. She then turned back to Erwin and spoke, "That is indeed an unusual dream, Erwin. Dreams can be enigmatic, and sometimes they carry messages or symbols. It might be the Imaginary Tree and the Sea of Quanta check the ship's Archives to see if there's any correlation between your dream. Perhaps there's a connection that can shed light on this mystery."
Welt with a face of knowing added "I believe Erwin has obtained the Imaginary element"
Erwin felt a mix of confusion and worry when he heard that saying "Is it dangerous cause the only element I knew are the Periodic Table of elements and from your expressions its either dangerous or not but I can't tell"
Himeko and Welt told Erwin to not worry in which he also asks "Also Imaginary?, first off I'm an adult I can have imaginary friends when I was a kid but I'm older now so if have an 'Imaginary' element does exist then a bunny should appear in my hands"
In which a white bunny actually appeared in his hands.
