Chapter 87: Chapter 35.1 : Unknown

An unknown amount of time later

"This place is really busy huh..." mumbled Diana as she stared at the pier in front of her, which had over a dozen pirate ships on it.

Although this port was part of the Capital City of the Trun Kingdom, such a large number of pirates still made Diana feel a little bit thoughtful.

If there were this many pirates in just one city, Diana couldn't even imagine how many plagued the entire Trun Kingdom.

"Yes, this place has been like this for decades, as one of the more stable Kingdom that is not part of the World Government, Trun Kingdom is a hotspot for pirates of all kind to gather, thankfully though most truly powerful pirates have ambitions towards the Grand Line, and do not bother coming to this place, which has allowed this Kingdom to remain in existence up until now," said Thresh as he stared at the ever so familiar pier in front of him.

After a few moments of thought, Diana turned towards Emily, who was lying against a pillar.

"Emily, after we arrive at the port, you go exchange 10 Million Berries worth of treasure and use it to fully restock the ship, I want the thunder to be fully ready for our next voyage as soon as possible, but leave the food for Tsurumi to restock" said Diana before turning her attention away from her vice-captain and onto her pseudo-shipwright.

"Thresh, you can take some of our funds and take the Thunder to a shipwright, take as much as you need for the repairs, the rest of you can defend the ship whilst I'm going to scout the port," said finished Diana.

"Yes Captain!"

...

After a few more minutes of talking, which mainly involved Diana explaining to Emily some of the things she wanted for the ship.

Then, after finishing things up and watching Emily and Thresh walk into two different directions, Diana finally jumped from the ship onto the pier, completely avoiding the prepared ladder.

As soon as Diana landed on the pier though, a faint frown appeared on her face, causing her to fall into thought for just a brief moment.

'This place is weird...' thought Diana as she suddenly began moving along the large pier, noticing several pirate crews lurking in the shadow, seemingly waiting for the people that they had sent out to return.

The moment Diana landed onto the pier, the attention of several pirate crews landed on her, but upon noticing the fact that Diana was seemingly not very easy to deal with, those eyes soon vanished, allowing Diana to wander the pier, and even the streets of the city without any care in the world.

'There's no normal people in this place...' thought Diana as she wondered the streets noticing the fact that this area was actually only filled by pirates, as if by design.

As she wondered this little area, Diana encountered all that a pirate could ever need, a shady bank for them to sell their loot to, as well as bars and brothels for them to waste their hard-earned money on.

Although there were other buildings and shops, they were mostly hidden in the background, as if fearing that they would distract the pirates from their alcoholism.

'It's much more worth it to do something like this than to simply take the bounties of the pirates, I bet these bars make a lot of money...' thought Diana before suddenly letting out a punch behind her.

In an instant, the pirate that had just wanted to attack Diana was on the ground, allowing her to take a good look at him.

As she looked at the bloodshot eyes of the pirate, who was currently frothing at the mouth from Diana's rather weak punch.

'He drank way too much, he's completely irrational...' thought Diana with a faint frown on her face.

A moment later, after smashing down her leg right into the skull of the pirate, and shattering it to pieces onto the icy dirt below, Diana finally walked away, leaving the dead pirate behind.

...

At the same time...

As she grabbed a bit of flour from the barrel in front of her, a faint frown couldn't help but appear on the face of Tsurumi, who was just entered this shop not too long ago.

'The humidity in this place is too high...' thought Tsurumi before shaking her head, knowing that she did not have anything much better than she could work with.

"Can you let me take a look inside of the other barrels?"

"Yea, but don't touch those if you aren't buying," said the shop owner, causing Tsurumi to shake her head and walk up to another barrel of flour, which she then opened and took a look inside of.

In just under a minute, Tsurumi successfully checked 20 barrels of flour, before finally deciding on what to do.

"I'll have 10 barrels of flour," said Tsurumi, causing Oro, who was standing behind her, to fall into a bit of thought.

'What's she doing? 10 barrels of flour aren't nearly enough to feed the ship on a long journey...' thought Oro as he took a good look at Tsurumi, who now had some of the cannon fodder pick up the barrels whilst she paid.

...

As he looked at the shipyard in front of him, which did not seem to have changed much ever since he had last visited, Thresh couldn't help but let out a faint sigh before walking in unobstructed, clearly knowing the layout of the place quite well.

In just a few moments, Thresh arrived near the heart of the shipyard, passing by several guards before arriving in front of a ship that was currently being built by a few shipwrights.

But as he stared at the ship that was being built, a faint frown couldn't help but appear on Thresh's face.

"You guys, where's old man Frieg?" asked Thresh, shouting towards the shipwrights that were currently working.
