Chapter 2: chapter 1- the first summoning
The isekai genre is one of the most read manga type, for good reason who doesn't want to be in a world of magic and spirits a new life to live. For many that's the dream to be free from the chains of normality and have an exciting life full of adventure but for me that dream was going to become my new reality, well not really instead of being the main character im going to become I summoners spirit that only real purpose is to fight and nothing else… this sucks.

The sound of an alarm clock wakes me up from the greatest dream of my life and at the same time the worst dream ever, instead of becoming the hero I become the thing the hero summons to do their bidding and only that and after I have to go back to this crummy piece of rock that doesn't even have magic in it, this sucks.
"lucas breakfast is ready hurry up before your late to work!"
"coming ma!"
Even do being the summoned spirit its not what I wanted I made a promise to become the very best at it and also im getting paid for it and I don't want to get fired… im a afraid what might happen to me if I get fired. I jump out of bed, get dressed and get ready to go.
" luke don't forget your breakfast"
"opps, sorry ma ill be home a little late im going to quit and buy some new clothes"
"ok sweetie be careful… wait what!"
"bye mom see ya later"
"wait why do mean quitting your job? Lucas gardner get back here!"
As I hear the screams of my mother that I ignore and go on about my day with a new future approaching me to become the most op spirit ever. Now for more prologue I worked in a small furniture company that works on moving and distributing products, the main reason I got a job at this age is to maybe get some dad muscle and pick up some life hacks from other dads that work there and the pays was pretty good so it was a pretty good deal plus some days were slow enough that I had the chance to do some school work so all around it was a good experience but the deal angeli is offering is to good to refuse so of course im quitting but its kinda sad I made some great friends there that im sure going to miss but this is going to change my life and for the better.

" well if it aint string bean luke, how's life bein treating ya"
" great for the most part boss man, I have something important to talk about, do you mind if we go to your office?"
" of course not, im here to help, lets see whats so important!"
As I walk to the office my heart beats even faster knowing that this is the first step to achieve my dream and there only 23 hours left before I get summon for the first time and the wait is already driving me crazy.
" here we are, so what do you need string bean"
*exhale* "im quitting the company joseph"
"woah I didn't not expect that… is there a reason, is someone bullying you again you know you just tell me who it is and ill beat them to a pulp!"
"no no its nothing like is just I got an offer for the job of my dreams… the job that I always wanted"
"mmh that's great amazing even, so whats the amazing job that you offered that's better than my company"
"that's kinda of a secret but trust me it's the thing I always wanted for my life"
"well if you feel so adamant about it sure, no problem… your fired!"
"wait what, am not supposed to sign some letter of resignation and all that hoopla?"
"nah thanks to this government if the employ wants quit the have to make the letter but if I fire you then there's no need to do any dumb paperwork whats so ever"
"wow ok… I guess thanks for firing me joseph and thanks for everything you did for me"
"no problem just remember your roots and that you owe me drinks when you get a chance"
" heh, always thinking about alcohol huh?"
"you know it, hahahaha"
After saying my final goodbye's to everyone working there a chapter of my life closes and a new one opens up with infinite possibilities. It kinda hurts to leave big joe was the closest thing that I had for a father figure, he thought me how to change the oil for my mom's car and he also taught me how to shave and even asemble my own shelf rack he's the closest thing I have to a father figure he even helped me how to tie a tie for my prom night… I hope we still can be friends after this I really hope we don't drift away.
" oy bossman did ya really fired the kid?"
"yep, he finally found a calling and who am I to stop him"
"but you took care of him as if he was your flesh and blood arent you sad he's leaving?"
"you might be right, I also never said goodbye… but when a mama bird teaches there son how to fly she know's that one day they might fly away and never come back but hey where not birds so if destiny calls it were going to see eachother again when were meant to "
"um boss… are you drunk again?"
"… maybe a little"
Now that I quit my old job, next on my list is to find my perfect outfit, I want to be the coolest spirit ever an outfit that's screams overpowered an outfit that says bow to my absolute power and cower in fear of my supreme intellect… mmh think think you read tons of manga for this exact moment… the only things that come to mind are butlers and how some of them are also secretly and assasin with magical powers and amazing fighting techiniques… wait I have my prom tuxedo and I think it still fits but I also want to be that mysterios type of spirit that you cant see their true identity… a mask! That's a good idea ill buy one of those jester mask in the nearby floormart they must have at least one. So after I went to see if the had any mask and luckily the had and it exaclty how I wanted it to be I also bought some new shoes and gloves to hide even more my appearance and make myself love even cooler after that I went back home to try and explain every thing to mom.
"lucas gardner there you are, ive been calling your phone none stop only to figure you left it at home, I was so worried and to also find out you were quitting your job, you have a lot of explaining to do mister"
"look mom I know it might come as a shock but I got offered a better job and I couldn't pass it up… it's my dream job the job I always wanted."
" I don't care you had a future to suddenly quit it just because its your "dream job" you need to be more respo-"
" the pay is fifthy thousand dollars per work day"
" f-f-f-fifthy thousand dollars… when do you start?"
" tomorrow morning and I need leave before that because… its preeetty far"
"well it doesn't matter as long as it makes you happy and you have a future in it that's the most important part"
" thanks mom, welp im going to get ready so… wait where did you put my tuxedo I need it because I want to make a good impression"
"oh of course, I left it in my closest to keep it safe"
After trying the tuxedo and making sure it still fit's and also taking a shower and all that junk I sat down with mom to try and explain in way that maked sense to her of how somedays it will take a long time to come back and other time I ill be there the next day, she seem's ecstatic that I had a high paying job and for me being able to one day afford a house, get a girlfriend, get married and make grandchildrens her words not mine but still it felt nice that at least shes happy and not worried for the first time in her life… now I feel ready to do this and now that's its getting late its time to hit the road.
"well mom I guess this is goodbye for now huh?"
"luke I want you to know that im extremly proud of you, your finally becoming an adult a responsible adult that doesn't sit around only reading mangas and fantasizing about woman that don't exist"
"mom! rude"
"im kidding, im kidding… for the most part anyway what im trying to say is no matter what happens you can do this and I believe in you"
" ok mom, arent you going to ask what my job is"
"nah, as long as your happy your mother is happy so go out there and make your mama proud"
"heh, if course I will"
And like that the final chapter of my life comes to an end, the beginning of my new life starts now… but the problem is when does angeli summon me is it when I go to sleep or exactly when the twenty-four hours are up… maybe I should first find a spot where I can park my car and not be afraid of it getting towed… a forest should do and after sometime of looking around i find the perfect place and there we are *exhale* that took way to long and its already 11:00 pm I should get some sleep so I can be ready for angeli but I don't know if I would be able to sleep Im way to excited for this…*yawn* becoming a spirit and s rank at that who's going to summon me… *yawn* a f-rank summoner or a evil cult worshiping some kind of ancient demon lord or even a snotty rich bratt that uses me a slave the possibilities are endless… like… what if there *yawn* the villa…in. As a close my eyes i hear a familiar voice calling my name... im so ready for this.
" sir lucas is time"
"oh hey Angeli, time for the first summoning huh?"
" that is correct, are you ready to enter the new world?"
"you bet I am"
