Chapter 9: Tutorial [7]

Elliott after defeating the copper puppets encountered a huge Iron door.

*Push

[You have successfully cleared the F block, solo.]

[You have accomplished an achievement that is not very easy to do. Bonus points are provided.]

[You have obtained 600 points.]

[You have obtained 300 additional points.]

[Your health and mana will be restored.]

[All negative states of the body are removed.]

[You have entered the E block area.]

"I finally finished the first block of this tutorial".

Looking at the stack of messages. Elliott flashed a satisfied smile.

The interface system displayed Elliott's achievement, Presumably, Elliott finished all ten bronze puppets.

'I scored 900 points on this test.'

In God's Tower, the concept of points is very important.

Points are a scoring system that is awarded based on each climber's achievements.

The Tower and the guardians give rewards based on points, and it is also used as currency between climbers and can be exchanged for other items.

Basically, it was something that each climber had to do their best to score as many points as possible throughout the Tower.

But Elliott, who had just passed the F block of the tutorial, had already earned so many points. If others knew these they would be very surprised.

'still not enough points to buy black March or Adam's apple'.

Elliott who was disappointed by the points he earned closed the points screen and entered the neutral zone.

A breath of fresh air entered his lungs:

"Wh... Who's that guy? What's with those clothes?"

"He just passed F-block, didn't he?"

"What, at a time like this?"

"Wait, where are the members of his group, is he alone?"

Beyond the Iron gate, there were about a dozen people of different races looking in Elliott's direction in astonishment.

It was surprising that there were still challengers trying to participate in this tutorial after a week had passed.

Elliott did not know that the people selected to climb the "Tower of God" were normally expected to start the next tests the following month instead of starting the test late.

But what surprised them most was the person who opened the iron gate and entered the neutral zone.

They wondered if that person had passed that vicious F-block alone.

[He had entered the E-block area.]

The waiting area of block E is quite large.

The area was dome-shaped and looked large enough to be a soccer stadium capable of holding thousands of people.

There were quite a few people of all races in the waiting area, and everyone was doing something different.

Some were sharpening their swords with whetstones and others were doing something like warm-up exercises. There were also people sleeping in the corners, while others were seriously injured or missing limbs.

Elliott ignored all the looks they were giving him with a straight face.

Looks like some people have given up on the tutorial."

Elliott thought when he saw an elven woman crying with her companions.

Unlike Elliott, there were some who could not continue after passing block F and had given up on continuing in this tutorial and waiting for the next one.

Unlike Elliott who from the beginning was lucky enough to have a rare bloodline. A tutorial is a dangerous place if challengers don't recover they can die.

There were many people in the waiting room in block E who had overcome the danger but had a dead looks in their eyes.

Many had lost companions and loved ones in front of their eyes and succumbed to the fear of death.

'It seems that the tutorial gets more and more dangerous as you go on'.

That was why it was inevitable that many people decided to quit.

Elliott walked as if it was nothing to a place that was empty with no people around to rest his exhausted mind a bit.

Elliott had only passed block F and almost died several times because of his confidence or some brilliant idea. But he still had six blocks of pure suffering left before he would even the gap between him and the other challengers and make up for a lost time.

Elliott was lost in thought.

Suddenly he is approached by a group of four humans approaching him, smiles on their faces.

Elliott frowns at the sight of these people approaching him.

'these guys remind me of those bastards that killed me'.

"Hey, buddy!"

A man stepped forward.

The man appeared to be their leader.

A handsome figure with a strong physique. He appeared to be a swordsman carrying a large sword on his back.

Elliott looks at him with a curve of his lips.

"What is it, do we know each other?"

"....."

The man couldn't say anything to Elliott's tone.

Elliott was clearly showing hostility towards them.

Elliott seeing them not responding begins to speak:

"I don't know what you are going to say, but I don't care, so fuck off, we just met but your mere presence disgusts me. So let's pretend you never spoke to me."

Despite his words, they remained oblivious to what Elliott said.

"What the hell are you waiting for go fuck yourselves!!!?".

Elliott frowned as his patience ran out, he didn't want to see this person brings back bad memories of his past life and the memories of the owner of this body.

Finally, prompted by the stares of the other three, the leader bit his lower lip and suddenly bent at the waist.

"I have a favor to ask of you."

Elliott's expression was completely distorted, he didn't know why he was so angry with these people, simply his whole soul felt disgusted for these people.

"A favor? What kind of bullshit is this?"

"It's for you to escort us somewhere in this tutorial."

"What?"

"Let's go look for... I'm sorry but I can't tell you the details right now."

"I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but get the hell out of here, I don't want to see their faces."

Elliot then quickly turned his back on these people.

The leader was annoyed and bit his lower lip.

'This won't work. If we let that guy not help us, our chance could vanish like air.'

Their leader, David, had some complicated feelings inside.

Just as they left F Block, he thought his hellish life was finally over.

Although he was worried because he had sacrificed some members of his group to pass the test and the sacrifice of his dead comrades he found them considerable.

The members she sacrificed were not playing an important role in the test.

In fact, with his distorted thoughts, he thought things were going well if he saved more people.

After David sacrificed the most useless members of his team, he led his remaining teammates forward and went straight for a guy who was in the waiting room of E block.

Ghost.

He was a climber who had sought them out for an application before starting the tutorial.

"We're called Creed's Castle. Guys, I like the looks in your eyes. Usually, people with those looks show great perspectives. Come with us in the waiting room in Block E and we'll give you hidden information about the tutorial."

At first, they thought he was some kind of a weirdo and didn't think much of what he said.

But much later they discovered that Creed's Castle was a big name in the tutorial.

It was a top family that had practically dominated the tutorial for a long time.

Apparently, Creed's Castle had some connections to the upper floors and some gods, or so he had heard.

Creed's Castle was a vigilant family formed to prevent chaos in the tutorial.

It tries to avoid all kinds of traps in the tutorials and make it as easy as possible for the climbers and also sells hidden information from the trials.

And as a result, all its members are highly respected on the second floor by the climbers.

As such, David and his members had accepted a request from that family that would benefit him greatly on the second floors of the Tower, they needed someone strong enough to help them, so when they saw Elliott enter the waiting room with a suit that would have no novice and also looked like someone easy to use.

'Damn... we need to get that item and complete that order'.

He was supposed to meet with Creed's Castle tonight.
