Blood Sect.
Blood Sect is one of the factions in the Black Corner Region. Its leader ranked fifth on the Black Ranking, possessing the strength of peak Dou Emperor.
The Blood Sect's Dou Qi Method is rather unorthodox as the founder of this faction purposely took a cold route, changing their biology to a vampiric state with deep hunger for blood.
This change in biology granted them a strong resistance toward Fire Dou Qi, making them more mighty than humans of the same cultivation realm.
Of course, Dou Practitioner from this faction couldn't break the limitation of natural order because "Heavenly Flame." is Blood Sect's archnemesis.

Blood Sect has quite a vast territory for their main base, covering over a few hundred square kilometers. Well, the vital area only covered 10 km2 on the edge of a mountain.

A green map appeared before Baek Ain's eyes, revealing parts of the mountain's edge that weren't viable from this distance. The Blood Sect is massive and has several natural resources, such as mineral mines and medicinal gardens.

"Rou, how is the situation?" Baek Ain used the hivemind connection to communicate with his companions.
Lan Rou stood on the other side of the mountain, facing a tall tower with a red-colored Buddha statue above it. She looked down and saw several people meditating with an eerie crimson aura.
These people are Dou Spirits, who cultivated Blood Sects' Dou Qi Method and transformed their bodies under Blood Dou Qi.
"There are some people here." She responded to Baek Ain's question.
"They wouldn't be a problem for me, but... I might alert others if I don't do it quickly."
"Should I go for it?"
"Wait there." Baek Ain changed his connection to Yafei.
"How is the situation, Fei?"
Yafei leaned on a well-covered area and controlled one of the Blood Sect's disciples with her rotating silver threads, spying on the surrounding area.
She is a few hundred meters away from Lan Rou, searching for an escape and attack routes for herself. She planted several rotating silver threads to entrap possible chasers, but something wasn't right.
"Give me five more minutes," Yafei replied calmly.
"The map we had about Blood Sect barely covered the main base. Even with this puppet, I can't access much of the building. There was small resistance when I tried to take control of five people."
Yafei sends an impulse/command through her rotating silver threads and comments, "Their blood is weird."
"Five minutes then." Baek Ain nodded in understanding.

After five minutes, Yi Xian returned with somewhat heavy breathing and leaned on Baek Ain's back. "That was tiring..." She said while rubbing her sweat on his clothes.
Baek Ain smiled wryly and commented, "I told you to plant three areas only, you know? It's your fault for going over and beyond."
Yi Xian rolled her eyes and returned, "You also told me to plant more if the area is less concentrated to avert Blood Sect's attention."
"Is that so?"
"This bastard..." Yi Xian slapped her lover's hand and popped a pill to recover her Dou Qi.
"Ouch! That hurts."
"You deserved it, hmph."
Yafei initiated a connection and reported, "The Blood Sect's Leader is inside the Blood Altar, five buildings to the west away from Lan Rou's location."
"There might be more people on the Blood Altar, so I recommend you to do the business quickly."
"Okay." Baek Ain grabbed Yi Xian's waist and jumped into the sky, soaring like a rocket.

"Lan Rou, eliminate the people in your area and then retreat with Fei."

A tall, white-haired man stood firmly on a destroyed altar. He's wearing a cloak that covers his body, but Blood Sect's leader and elders recognize him by the face mask and scar on his left eye.
"BAI YA!" Fan Lao shouted hatefully.
Baek Ain smiled and responded, "Hello, there."
"I'm here to take over the Blood Sect."
"Surrender nicely, or I'll kill half of you right now."
"NOT IN A MILLION YEARS! EVERYONE, ATTACK!" Fan Lao rushed forward, releasing intense Blood Qi.
Baek Ain watched the elders following Fan Lao and smiled inside as these people hated him to their very bones. He pulled out the Severed Light(S), checking the blade's edge.
"Blood Enhancement Qi, FURIOUS BLOOD STORM!"
"DIEEEE!!"

CLANK! BOOM!
Baek Ain waved his blade casually and parried Fan Lao's attack, sending a gush of wind away. Fan Lao was speechless.

And remember, people from Blood Sect are weak to Heavenly Flame.
Golden Crow's Flame is questionably stronger than most Heavenly Flame, the iconic representation of the sun itself, like how Hamon User could defeat Vampire in the earlier part of Jojo.

The Blood Altar evaporated, making Baek Ain looks like the incarnation of the sun in the dark room. The surviving elders looked at Baek Ain fearfully, feeling every inch of their bodies searing in pain.
This man is their biggest fear.

Fan Lao lost half of his body, lying on the floor pathetically.
Baek Ain walked to Fan Lao and commented, "Blood Sect is mine now."

The surviving elders nodded and chanted quietly, watching Fan Lao's body become blood and merge with Bai Ya's body.

"CONQUER THE HEAVENLY FLAME AND FREEZE THE WORLD WITH BLOOD!"
Red markings appear on Baek Ain's skin, making the elders happy.

"S-Sect Leader." One elder called out.
Baek Ain returned to normal a second later and glanced at that elder, smiling at him.
"Haha~!"
As if a bucket of cold water was "abruptly." thrown onto their faces, the elders of the Blood Sect become paler than paper. They shuddered and watched Baek Ain's face mask loosening, revealing a wicked smile of a devil.
"Too bad... Your sect leader is dead." Baek Ain's cold voice penetrated their ears, showering them with freezing truth.
"Blood Sect's Leader, Fan Lao, is no more."
"From now on, this place will operate under the Beast Taming Gate."
"I have killed half of you, so you don't have a choice here..."
Baek Ain pointed Severed Light at them and added, "So?"
"T-The Blood Sect shall follow new leader Bai Ya from now on..." The remaining elders fell to their knees and responded in despair.
They couldn't fight nor avenge their former sect leader. Meaningless death isn't needed, as Blood Sect lost half of their powerhouse tonight.
With this, Baek Ain conquered 50% of the Black-Corner Region.
And he won't just stop here.
