Chapter 2: Trip
Emma tried to reassure her mother that everything would be fine, "Will you stop worrying already mum… you're getting old and it could affect your BP. I'm only going out of the country and besides nothing can happen to me since Felix is with me. Also, Korea is a peaceful place."
Although Emma had an expressionless look on her face, deep down she didn't want her mum overreacting over something so cheap.
"Mum please don't ruin this for me … I really want to get some rest and I also have something important to do for the company and family. I don't want you ruining my chances of doing this without using the family's name. I'll do this without letting anyone know I'm the second daughter of the famous Raj family. Can you please do that for me?" She said to her mum in a more sarcastic way.
Trisha's only child that had stayed with her throughout her life was now leaving them. She really didn't want that but she had to let her go.
Trisha had to let her go with tears in her eyes. Her father also hugged her, not willing to let her go but later did. He pecked her head and gave her a look that said 'you can do this my child'. Emma got the message and nodded at him.
After saying their goodbyes, Emma drove her car to the airport and went to make herself comfortable in her own room on the plane. She played with her phone for a while and laid on the bed to sleep a bit before landing in Korea.
Emma's trip to Korea was mainly because of her family's happiness. Six years ago, the oldest daughter of the top richest family in India and Country A had left her family for an unknown reason. Her mother, father, and sister did all they could to find her but sadly couldn't.
After this, the second daughter took the responsibility of bringing happiness into their house once again. This was Emma's mission.
She knew the only way to complete the happiness of their home was to bring back her sister.
Her mum was an from Country A while her dad, Indian. Her parents still loved each other very much and wanted to pamper their children with their love and wealth. All they wanted was to see their kids happy.
Her other mission is to help her Dad strike a deal with two kpop bands to model for a few of their products. Her Dad told her to take her time and do it. He had also instructed her to form a good relationship with them if she wanted to and she did want to. Maybe she'd also relax a bit while she's in Korea. At some point her dad knew she'd reveal her identity to those kpop groups.
The plane landed successfully in Korea and she drove her car to her apartment.
She and her Dad have been to different countries for business. Before Emma turned eighteen, she started learning about the business world and decided to help her Dad with it. Because of their business trips they decided to buy a house in any country they went to frequently and Korea was one of them.
After arriving home, Emma tidied up some things and called someone to get her some foodstuff before she returned from the restaurant where she planned to dine.
She was too tired to cook herself, and she had so many things to do before the week ended.
One of the things she had to do was to help her mum review her new recipe books that she was planning on publishing. Emma's mother owned and controlled the food industry, which was part of Emma's family's business called RT Industries.
Her father, Mr. Raj, built it with the help of his wife and daughter. They owned a food industry, technology company, fashion industry, and others. This was how their company's products were categorized by people in different countries.
Emma's mother was the one who controlled the activities happening in the restaurant, and she also made her own cookbooks and cooking shows.
Emma had a happy life with her family, but the only thing that wasn't making the family complete was the disappearance of their first daughter.
Emma is in Korea to bring back happiness to their family, and she feels she might find her sister in Korea because she knew it was one of the countries her sister always wanted to go to.
Emma drove into the parking lot of the restaurant where she wanted to buy her dinner. She walked in with a strong charisma and had a cold look on her face. Everyone who looked at her would be mesmerized by her beauty, and some girls would look at her with jealousy while some with admiration.
Emma was actually a really good-looking girl. Even with her height, she had a hot shape. She wasn't too busty, she had a bust size of 36, a waist size of 24, and a hip size of 36. She had green cat-shaped eyes, a short pointed nose, and deep pink lips. Her skin was milky and smooth and didn't have any marks on it.
Emma's stunning beauty was so distracting that it made the boyfriends of other girls in the restaurant jealous.
She only gave them a cold look and didn't care about their whispers or the looks the girls were giving her. She walked over to the counter to order her food to go and was relieved when a girl took her order.
While waiting for her order to arrive, she spotted a guy eating alone at the corner of the restaurant. His blue eyes stared into her green eyes, and for a moment, she got lost in his gaze.
Soon, she broke the staring contest they had, scolding herself inwardly for what she just did. "Emma, stop making eye contact with a stranger in the name of boredom, would ya?"
Her order arrived later, and she made the payment and left the restaurant. When she reached the door, she looked back at the guy she had a staring contest with before and left after five seconds of looking at him again.
On her way home, she wondered why Mr. Blue Eyes was staring at her like that. "Does he know me?" she said to herself in her car on her way back home.
When she reached home, she saw that someone had come and stocked her refrigerator and kitchen with some foodstuff, but the person had already left. She quickly went to shower and came back to eat her dinner. While she was eating, she watched a famous cartoon, SpongeBob. It looked really childish, but who cares?
After watching cartoons for thirty more minutes, she retired to her bed.
