Why do people just assume that the mc is gonna be the center of the universe when there's literally a fucking multiverse out there with his infinite versions of himself which basically means there are infinite mcs ?
And just because he's born early in his Universe doesn't mean it's the same for others. Who knows how old he can be in some version as time is a brainfuck which I'd like to stay away from as far as possible
So let's get back to him getting his ass dragged back home by Maya his wife...? Wait ....when did that happen ?

*Tch* "Fine fine, let's take a quick Flashba-" *sigh* "Muranu you're doing it again " Maya woke up sighing and pulled him back in bed
"....No I'm not" he tried to defend himself while slowly trying to get out from her grip
"I swear if you don't stop I will stab you~" She whispered in his ears making him pause
"Fine~" he gave up and laid back down besides her as she hugged him to sleep

"Why can't I marry you Muranu? Didn't you say that you will when we grow up ?" Currently I'm confronted by a angry Maya with my escape route cut off by Sis,Eli, Ana and mother ....wait why the heck is mother here?
Now I may be 13 but I have a body of a eighteen year old, biokinesis and made it so that I won't age beyond that point and Maya is a sixteen year old teenager going through emotional stuff with me in the center of it.
"Like I told you before, I'm a God. It won't work " I pat her head while laughing but she didn't look amused by that answer and slaps my hand away "Why does it matter if you are a God or not ?"
Guess that won't work anymore.
Honestly I was just making excuses every time she asked me that, sure I rejected her many times but she didn't take no for an answer. Last option was making excuses or just avoiding the subject
"Answer me" Maya held the collar of my robes and why do I have robes? Well, walking with just rugs wasn't doing it for me so I ended up creating some Viking style clothes
I stare at her and everyone else for a while and sigh in defeat raising my hands in surrender
"I will tell you but first answer me this. Do you even know what being a God means ?" I ask everyone who are standing in front of me
"Means that you are super strong ?" Sis said while tilting her head to the side cutely
"Sis for the love of god please act your age" I say only to get 'Really?' looks from everyone which I didn't pay attention to.
"No....well technically yes but that's not it. Gods....well 'I' am immortal" I look at their confused faces and facepalm myself
'Fucking knew it'
They absolutely have no idea what that word even means "Immortal means everyone will grow old and die but I won't" I watched as their eyes widen to reality of my life
Mother came close to me and hugged me tight, she didn't say anything and just continued the hug with Sis and Ana joining her leaving a sad Eli who looked like she was going through some flashbacks and Maya who is looking at the ground going through various emotions.
Ending the emotional hug I walk towards Maya and lift her chin making her look into my eyes
"Do you still want to be with me knowing that I won't die while you grow old? Do you still want to be with me knowing the pain I'll have to go through watching you die? Do you still want to live watching yourself grow old while seeing my ageless face ?" I pause a little and everyone breaks into tears once again. I just look at them before sighing. If this was few years ago I wouldn't give a damn, sure I'll feel sad but that would be it but now? I feel everything
Being an empath doesn't help does it? If this was before then I would've just rejected her straight up but here's the thing, when anyone from ancient times tell you that they love you, they really mean it from the bottom of their hearts. Relationships are pure in these times, no toxicity, no fights ....well unless you given them a reason like not bringing in the daily hunt or something, no asking brainless questions like 'will you love me if I was a egg' .....I still laugh thinking about that part
And she really does love me and that hurts me....a lot. I can't give her that life you know? Getting married, having kids, growing old and dying. Sure I can marry her or have kids and all but growing old together .....that's just sad. If I do that I'll have to watch her,my kids, their kids and everyone else die. The ultimate question that comes with immortality is 'what next?' that is a existential crisis right there which I went through in those 5k years in training.
Being Immortal means you will eventually run out of things to do and everything will become boring, sure some can say eternal love and all that stuff but let's be honest, in real world there is no such thing as a happy ending, especially not if you are a immortal cause you don't have a ending. The point is i just can't see myself in a position where I will say something like 'I love you' to anyone .....probably, I will probably say it but not eternally but.... who knows what might happen so I want to try it.
I pulled Maya into a hug and tried to comfort her "Maybe if you can make me fall for you it will work ?" I joked .....bad idea
*3rd POV*
"So.....if I can make you fall in love with me, it will work ?" Maya's eyes were glowing in red as she pulled herself from the hug and held Leo's face
"AHHHHHHHH!!" He screamed as red veins started spreading from Maya's hand
"Maya what are doing!!" Ana screamed as she tried to stop her daughter
"Sshhh sleep everyone" she shushed and a crimson wave spread from her making everyone fall down
"I will make you fall in love with me" she smiled with he eyes glowing dangerously before falling on ground besides him
*Leo POV* (before she attacked him)
'Okay did not see that coming'
I can see Maya's hand glowing in red as she slowly moves her hand to grab me. Time slows down to the point where everything stops as if someone paused a video
"Now this some bullshit .....how the hell did she get that ?" I'm confused.....I don't remember giving random powers to anyone from the tribe and I'm pretty sure I killed everyone who got them....you did not read that....back to the problem .....so how did she??
But the main question is
"Now what do I do ? Do I dodge or play along.....Hmm..." I walk around for a bit
Honestly.....I'm bored AF. I literally have nothing to do.....not including the space travel plans I have but still bored. I'm way too early, like 7000 years early before the plot even begins, if you ignore the in-between events that happen....I'm tired.....
I just want peace, the fucking purpose of creating this clone was to live a peaceful life and not gonna lie I was at peace.....if you ignore the few things I did.....yeah... I did some pretty questionable stuff in last few years .....probably spoilers for later but the point is, I've had enough of this

I look up beyond the Veil and see a fucking Eldritch looking eye staring at me "Yeah, fuck this. I ain't high enough to deal with that .....so being sealed it is " I shrugged and went back to my place letting Maya do whatever she was doing and blackout

"Let's see....I put that part here.....a little bit of over there and separate that part And.....done!" She adjusted few memories in Leo's mind changing few things and separated his apathetic side from the normal one
"Phew now let's get out ....." [Aren't you curious about his memories?] A voice spoke in her mind "I am but I shouldn't....." Maya hesitated [Come on~ It will be fun~]
"....Fine" she sighed and went deeper into his mind
"So this is his mind ?" Maya asked herself as she walked through various modern buildings
"Let's see...what's behind this door" she opened a random door and watched his previous life's memories
"So this is his world.....now I know the jokes he was talking about" she smiled a little remembering the times he tried to teach them about this 'memes'
Maya continued surfing through the memory lane until she stumbled upon something
"Now isn't this interesting....a door with 'Keep Out' on it .....curious i am and open it i shall.....I said it wrong *sigh* will take time to get used to memes i guess ?" She didn't even realize but his mind has slowly started to influence her
She opened the door making the same mistake every horror movie character does and entered it
At first it was all just darkness then slowly
*Splash*
She looked down to see she has stepped in a puddle of .....blood ?
"Ok this is getting scary " She tried to turn back but....
[Aren't you curious of what he is hiding ?]
A voice whispered in her ears like a devils temptation "Yes...." she answered dazed and continued along the path until she saw something that snapped her out of it
".....what is this....hell?" Maya looked around to see mountains of corpses of human,animal,monster and beings she couldn't even recognize as far as the eye could see and the worst part they were all screaming and begging her to kill them

Everywhere she looked there were bodies and various body parts lying around with blood that flows like river on the floor
She was horrified watching all this and quickly turned back to get out only to find the door vanished and a wall of pulsating flesh blocking her path
"No...no No No No No No!!!!!!" Maya screamed in horror as she ran away "Let me out let me out let me out!!" She tried blasting everything
[Calm down Maya ] a soothing voice whispered once again and made her calm
[Try to find his core first then we will find a way to get out of here ] the voice said as Maya felt someone patting her head
"O-ok " she sniffed and continued walking until she saw a giant .....something on its knees holding a building in its arms
[Yes, that is the thing we are looking for go there ] she nodded and ran towards it

She saw various corpses kneeling in the giants direction with their hands clasped as if praying to something
She kept ignoring and avoiding them and quickly walked away
[You.....] one of the corpses which looked like a mix between human and various insects called her making everyone look at her

Every single one them was deformed in some way or other. They slowly stared crawling towards her trying to catch her
"Sorry....I can't ....sorry " Maya kept crying as she ran away
She kept walking until she reached a building made of pulsating flesh.
*blerg* *cough* *cough*
She barely managed to stop herself from throwing up and entered the building and what she saw was horrifying to the point of driving her insane
She saw herself, Liana, Eli and others from her tribe on a experimental table being disected by Leo
[Subject 98 is showing sings of adapting to the cosmic radiations and is successful in manifesting it's powers.....] he spoke to no one but kept moving his hands removing various parts of their bodies and shining golden light on them. Half of his face was burned and he had 4 arms sticking out and operating at the same time
[Subject 96 aka Maya has perfectly fused with her new body and is showing sings of awaking] he smiled in relief as the experiment Maya opened her eyes
[Muranu ...where am i-] her words got caught her mouth as she saw her mother lying with various parts of her body missing [M-mother? ] she got up from her bed and tried walking towards her mother
[Mura....what have you done ?] The memory Maya asked trying to stand up only to fall down again
[It's alright ...she's just sleeping] he eerily walked towards her and knocked her out
[You all will be the same as me....I will make sure of it ] he said caressing her hair softly
"What.....is this" The real Maya stepped back in fear
[I'm not going to leave you.....not again] The memory Leo gently laid Maya down on her bed before looking at the ceiling and suddenly snapped his head at real Maya
[Rule no.1 of entering someone's mind ...] The Leo from the memory dissapeared
*Crash!*
"Never let the memories influence you or the shadows will find you dear~" he held her by her throat as she struggled to free herself.
"Let....me go....*cough*" As much as she wanted to she could not fight him. His phantom was a lot stronger as this was his mind
'Is this the end ?' Her arms fell down limply and her vision started going blurry as the bodies started crawling towards them
{Enough}
A ancient voice sounded making everything and everyone pause
{Bring her to me} it said and the memory Leo started going deeper into the mindscape
He walked further inside as the background changed from hell to a empty space filled with nothing but darkness
{Leave her here and go back} he bowed down and left leaving Maya unconscious on the floor
{Wake up} the voice said
Maya slowly stirred awake when she spotted a chained person tied to a large tree in darkness

"....."
{So...why are you here ?} It asked only to see her confused face
{.....Fucking Language barrier....Wait a sec.....}
"Nod if you understand" she nodded
"Why are you here Maya ?"
"Uhh....sightseeing?"
"....." The man just stared deadpan at her not amused
"....You....get out and answer me" the man stared at Maya whose eyes turned red
"How ?" She asked surprised
"....You are literally standing in my mind and I am way older than you think...meaning I have more experiencein this stuff" he said laughing
"Really~ but you're the one in chains " she mocked
*sigh* "Oh you sweet summer child look behind you " she did to see the hell behind her transform into a link of a chain. Her eyes widen at the sight of something incomprehensible chained and it sat there
".....what the f-"
"Now you understand, you didn't seal me, I did, so get out before I lose my patience and don't worry you won't remember any of this "
"Wai-" she tried to say something but got kicked out not before forgetting everything she saw
The man stared at his chains for a while before casually shaking them off and turing back into Leo
"Now ain't that interesting " he said changing the entire mindscape to the familiar design with a house and him siting on a sofa watching the screen
"Why did this get so complicated.....and.....what the hell did I do to pull 'her' over here?" He thought for a while before giving up
"2 in 1 I guess ?" *pfft* "Hahahahaha.....yeah let's see how this turns out" he laughed and went to sleep leaving the chaos to the normal human personality outside

Everyone's eyes stopped glowing red and regained their clarity
From everyone's perspective the things he said didn't happen as if the time was turned back a few seconds
"So....where was I? yes...I'm immortal meaning I will live on as everyone grows old and dies" Leo sighed seeing their sad faces
"...yeah ....fuck this" he scratched his hair in frustration "Ok let's do this...I have two options, first I delete everyone's memories of me and go awa- *Oof*" he tried to say something but a missile known as Eli tacked him to the ground
"I'm not letting you leave !! ....not again " She held him tight as she cried
"Not you too" Leo just sighed and patted her head '.....maybe giving headpats everytime she cried wasn't a good idea' well keeping his distance didn't mean shit if he always did this
I can see Maya debating something before she jumped into the hug and if you are confused to what's happening is that I'm acting .....of course I know the shit she tried to pull so I'm just gonna act as if she succeeded not like she kno- "I know" she whispered into my ears with her eyes glowing dangerously
.....okay she knows that I know and [Maya why the heck are your eyes so similar to a certain pink haired character ?] I asked telepathically
[I don't know hon, you tell me ] okay this girl has officially entered her yandere phase

'.....Maybe messing with her mind before kicking her out wasn't such a good idea was it ?' I got curious so did a quick scan before kicking her out and may have awakened something within her .....F
"I know they are sad and all but sis, why are you joining in ?" I look deadpan at Laina slowly joining in group hug
We stayed like that for a while before I picked them up with telekinesis
"So back to the topic ...the second option is I will make you all like me" I say making Maya flinch and look at me in horror

I look at everyone going through the choices
After a while they all come to a decision

"Sure....but remember this is only for us including Cyrus and not everyone else that comes after....maybe 2nd or 3rd generation atleast but not beyond that and there is a extra condition though"

"If and if there comes a day when you can't take it anymore and want want die you just have to tell me"
"....why will we want to die?" Sis asked making me and Maya look at her sadly
"You will get it .....probably some hundred or thousand years later" I walk away with Maya following me leaving the confused group behind

We didn't talk and continued walking until we reached one of my spots or hideout I use to just stare at the setting sun ...the scenery is just 🤌
Maya sat besides me watching the sunset in silence
".....was that real?" She asked without looking at me
"Which part?" I continued watching the sunset
"The experiments "
"Which ones ?" I ask only to get a look of disbelief from her
"The one that I saw in that building "
".....you have to be more specific..." I take a long pause and see her gathering energy in her hand
"....actually everything beyond the door was fake " she stopped and looked as if asking for explanation

"So...big Maya wanna talk ?" I sit back down and continue to stare at the sun
Maya blinked her eyes few times and her hair started turning red
"....you know my real name right?"
"Yes"
"Then why call me Maya ?"
"Cause it's her body and you act like a grown up version of her.....which kinda reminds me" I look at her straight in the eye with serious face
"Did I get a MILF and a Yandere wife at the same time ?" *Bang* I dodged a ball of flames at point blank range and quickly jump away from the pillar of flames that popped from the ground
" Oi oi oi stop right there !!" I quickly start running from a flaming Maya
She chased me for a while and I kept dodging her attempts to catch me. This went on for hours before she tacking me to the ground and rolling down hill which ended with her on top of me
"Does that mean you will marry me ?" She asked while holding my face
I smile gently and....*stab* *rip* ripped her heart out before crushing it
"Well well well, look who decided to play games ....good execution but wrong target " I laugh before raising my hand in front of me
*snap*
*Crash*
I snapped my fingers and broke the fake reality and return to the scene of me siting besides Maya whose eyes were bleeding like tears
"...What kind of a monster are you ?" She asked rubbing her eyes and still getting the feeling of her heart being ripped out
"Lesson No1: Always make sure you use your powers in a way you won't get caught" I turn to her wiping her blood stained face and making her look in my eyes
"And lesson 2 never try to beat a Master at his own game" I wink at her as the reality breaks once again and we shift from forest to our house
I smile and gently held her face "And yes....I will" and kiss her, let's try falling in love shall we?.....

"And kids, that's how I met your mother.... wait.....I don't have kids " Leo looked around to see himself siting on a couch with cameras pointed at him with Maya sitting in the director's seat with a script
"Are you sure you don't have kids ?" She asked checking the script
*Sigh* " I really shouldn't have taught you that " he sighed and snapped his fingers breaking everything like glass
The scene shifted to both of them siting in a recliner chair cuddling with each other
"You are the one who made that bet " Maya snuggled closer "Anything to make wifey happy" he smiled and continued caressing her hair
"Just get a room you two!!" Liana cried out in frustration by watching the honeymoon phase couple
"And you a husband sis....."Leo said something forbidden as Liana slowly got up from her seat "...Time Out!!!" He screamed making Laina pause "...honey I'll back in a bit Ok?" He picked up Maya and laid her back on the reclined chair
"Try to stay alive this time " she said praying for her husband
*Phew* " Okay start..." with that he ran away from the angry Liana
Now for all those who on the verge of throwing away your phone or punching your pc or screens, lemme just explain real quick as to what the actual fuck happened
You see Maya can control minds ....telepath and for some odd reason can also bend reality .....now that sounds oddly familiar and I know you guys know it too.
Now, do I know who that is? Yes
Do I care ? Nope
Unless she wants to I won't ask her what happened and besides....I get a 2 in 1 wifey so win-win and we show each other either illusions or just random stuff or she just sometimes bend reality casually causing glitch in the matrix scaring the shit out of normal humans and sometimes the Eternals too
Anyways back to explaining, so the thing with Arishem.....she may have done something and I know she did but I chose to ignore it
And the bet is something like trying to break each other's mind defense.....it's more like training so again, win-win situation

"This is fun " Sprite comments while sipping juice watching the brother-sister pair bickering
"I know right " Kingo is lying next to her, both are wearing Hawaiian clothes with sunglasses and enjoying drinks
"Should we even be here ?"
"Relax Sersi ~ Let the fighters do the heavy lifting besides we have some time to kill "
"....Fine" Sersi sighed and went to sunbathing thinking about the fighting squad which was in some corner of the world a little worried "They'll be fine right?" She asked Kingo who ignored her "Right ?"

"I think we may have bought the wrong backup " Gilgamesh punched a random deviants and watched the gaint wolf tear them apart like paper
"You're the one who wanted to compete and look at Ikaris he hasn't come down from the sky yet" Thena pointed at Ikaris who was just floating around in sky going through some flashbacks and blasting some deviants once in a while
[He'll be fine.....but we should keep him away from the wolf ] Makkari gestured to the group before running away
"..." Both of them didn't say anything and went back to killing
"...Is this even legal?" Phastos pointed at the wolf who was just playing at this point
"Phastos, stop hanging out with him, he is a bad influence " Ajak sighed
"He is a man of science Ajak, look he made that..." points at a happy blood covered wolf who is on a kill streak "....From scratch where he doesn't even have basic tools, you can't tell me you aren't curious about it....the new data I can gather from it" he stared in fascination at the wolf making Fen shiver a bit, it was the same feeling he got every time Leo upgraded him
"Fair point but still.....Try not to pick up bad habits from him " she gave up, it was almost impossible to stop Phastos once he gets in work mode or curious about something
