Khayin waited in the dining room of the Victory Spire, chugging freely from a bottle of wine he'd stolen from the kitchen.

Along with Aoife, the Ascendant of Fire roped them in to guard the Spire after the Master's speech.

It was... so much beyond him.

Khayin didn't understand what was happening. He didn't care about politics or who was in charge. He just wanted to get his sister and leave. Get out.

He would do it on foot if he had to, once the opportunity presented itself, but first he had to survive. Had to live long enough to find Cao and beat the answer out of him...

But then he was sent here.

"Hmph," the Fire pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and set the end smoldering. The way it made the socket of his missing eye glow reminded Khayin of one of his old gang members. He was talking with a middle-aged looking foreigner.
