Chapter 17: Book Searching
Homura's Room.
Kato Megumi, Kasumigaoka Utaha, and Sawamura Spencer Eriri were all here.
Although Homura said the living room was also fine, the three girls decided to come to Homura's room.
Boys are always curious about girls' rooms, and the same goes the other way around. The three girls were more or less interested in Homura, so of course, they wanted to come to his room when they had the chance!

"So the little cat's name is Haru-chan. Can you explain where Haru-chan came from?" Megumi asked in confusion.
"Well, I found Haru on the day before school started..." Homura briefly introduced the little one's situation.
"Aw, poor thing..." The three girls all expressed sympathy, and their eyes looked more and more fondly at Haru.
'Speaking of which, Haru is really loved by everyone!'
Feeling a little emotional, Homura lowered his head and looked at Haru in his arms...huh?

Eriri: "..."
Utaha: "..."
"By the way, why are you holding a phone?" Eriri asked, noticing that Homura had been holding it since he entered the room, and had been curious for a while.
"It's nothing." Homura looked up at the ceiling and gestured to Eriri.
Nodding to show she understood, Eriri didn't ask any further.
Putting Haru on the bed, Homura asked, "So, what do you guys want to drink? We have orange juice, milk, and some coke."
"I want a coke!" Eriri said.
"Do you have coffee?" Utaha asked.
"I'm sorry, we don't have any, but I'll make a note to buy some next time!" Homura apologized, shaking his head.
"No need to go through the trouble, I'll have orange juice instead." Utaha quickly said, changing her drink.
"Okay." Homura took note and then asked, "And what about you, Kato?"
Megumi was squatting behind Haru, and without turning her head, she said, "Just give me plain water, Minamiya-kun."
"Yosh, please wait a moment." Homura went to get the drinks.
He was just about to say something to Megumi earlier but decided not to. It's not common for someone to touch Haru's back like that, and if Megumi were discovered, would Haru be frightened? Just like a cucumber placed behind a cat, once discovered, the cat would jump out of fright.
The reason why he didn't do it was obvious; he knew that Haru wouldn't find her out, after all, she was Kato Megumi!
"Sagiri, do you want to come out and meet them?" Homura whispered into his phone. "Hmm? Okay, I won't force you. They will be here for a few more days, and you'll gradually get used to it."

Watching Homura leave the room, Utaha and Eriri nodded at each other and said at the same time, "Let's search for it! That kind of book!"
Megumi asked in confusion, "What kind of book are you looking for?"
"That kind of book that teenage boys would read," Utaha hinted vaguely.
Eriri rolled her eyes, "That kind of book? Just say it's hentai doujinshi!"
"Ah, not necessarily a doujinshi, there are other types too," Utaha expressed a different opinion.
"You can tell just by looking at this guy's room. Besides doujinshi, what else could there be?" Eriri presented "evidence" and continued, "Look at this wall, and the figurines, manga, and light novels. There are no other possibilities!"
"Indeed, as expected, Sawamura-san understands this kind of thing the best! Kashiwagi Eri-sensei truly lives up to her reputation!" Utaha provoked.
When someone shows their true colors, you can immediately tell.
Eriri's face turned livid with anger as she shouted, "Y- Y- Y- You WOMAN!!!"
"Um... Let's not act like this at Minamiya-kun's home, and his little sister is also at home," Megumi reminded them.
Suddenly, a bucket of cold water was poured on them, and both of them calmed down and decided not to quarrel anymore... At least not in Homura's home!

Eriri and Utaha looked at the computer on the desk at the same time.
