Chapter 42: We Meet Again

Venera stared at Alexander with a little reluctance in her eyes, pouted her lips, and subsequently looked away.

"I had no idea this place was so fancy," Venera said to the other two men. "Very pretty."

Caius looked lazily at Alexander, and Micah smiled and nodded at the pink-haired man.

Micah looked back at the little girl and said, "The chef here is a bit odd. He only prepares what he wants, but I suppose people find that sort of thing exciting."

Exciting?

"Like getting surprises?" Venera asked with big, round eyes.

"Yes," Micah said, smiling. "It is like getting surprises. Does Vera like surprises?"

"I like it!" Was Venera's answer.

"Then Vera will definitely like this place," Micah said.
