In the morning at 9:00 AM, Fu Jinlong woke up from his tranquil state by some noise of an argument inside the house. So, he got off the bed and immediately walked in the direction of the noises, rubbing his eyes. Soon, he saw that an old man and Fu Liang were having an argument about something.
Apparently, the landlord of the house had come to collect the rent early in the morning.
"Scoundrel! What do you mean by you don't have money right now?" The landlord scolded Fu Liang harshly.
The landlord continued, "Bas*tards, didn't I tell you two don't be late on giving monthly rent. I have clearly told you about it so many times before renting you the house. Still you two always pay the money late.
You haven't paid me the rent for the last two months.
Upon seeing his friend getting scolded so harshly Fu Jinlong's eyes grew cold. He was so angry that he wished that he could just rip the old man into pieces.
"Mr. Shan, I am sorry. Please give us one more week. We will give you the money for sure," Fu Liang said like a gentleman.
"Brat, I cannot give you any more time. Give me the rent right now, or get out of the house. I will rent it to someone else, hump!" The landlord insisted.
"Mr. Shan, you should watch your words. We are being polite, as you are our landlord. Don't push us too much," Fu Jinlong said coldly. He continued, "Come back after three days, then You will get your money."
"Oh, you are here too. Did I say something wrong? You two are obviously bas*tards. Your parents left you to rot in this society. You are like trash of society. No one knows... "
Just as he was about to continue he was interrupted by Fu Jinlong.
"Shut Up!" Fu Jinlong shouted loudly, like a thunder clap. His eyes were red. Whenever someone mocks about his origin, Fu Jinlong gets furious. And this old man was just talking about his birth not knowing that he was digging his own grave.
Upon seeing Fu Jinlong's cold and emotionless eyes, the landlord immediately freaked out. He instantaneously became silent.
Well the old man's decision was right though, otherwise, Fu Jinlong would've started beating him.
"When did this brat become so scary?" The old man was surprised and scared. Last time he was like a kitten, but today he transformed into a ferocious tiger. It's just been a few days since I last came here," The old man thought in his mind.
Seeing the landlord got quiet, Fu Jinlong also calmed down. He narrowed his eyes at the old man and said, "You will get your money in three days. Now get out of the house, you old a*s. I don't want to see your face again."
"Fine... I will come back in three days. If I don't get money then I will kick you two from the house that time for sure," Saying that he left the house.
The old man understood that if he had forced them anymore, Fu Jinlong would have surely gotten violent. If that's happen what will he do? He is just an old man with old bones. So, he didn't have any choice but to withdraw.
"Ah Jin. When did you get so aggressive?" Fu Liang raised his eyebrows with surprise. He never saw his friend that angry.
He continued, "That was awesome. That old man ran away with his tail between his legs.
"But, Ah Jin... How will we find the money in just three days? I don't have any money left with me. I have used it on my tuition fee. If we don't pay the rent next time, he will surely kick us out." Fu Liang was anxious.
"You don't have to worry about money, Liang. It's just 4,000 Yuan. I will get it soon," Fu Jinlong assured him by tapping his shoulder.
Fu Liang raised his eyebrows.
"When did 4,000 Yuan become insignificant?" Fu Liang thought to himself.
"Ah Liang, go to your school without any worries. I will get the money for sure," Fu Jinlong added.
"Alright, Ah Jin. Just be careful." Saying that Fu Liang went to his room to get ready for his class.
While Fu Jinlong thought, "I need to get money as soon as possible."
It was Tuesday. After eating their breakfast, Fu Liang went out for his school while Fu Jinlong was walking towards the restaurant for work.
