Chapter 23: Emperor

'All right, everybody stand by. We are going in now."

After Olivia's voice, the crowd fell silent.

The barrier cleared a small path for a group of students to walk through.

Kai followed a group of students and walked towards the barrier.

hmm... Is this the energy they use to detect people with malicious energies?

Thought Kai.

That was one of the methods the humans had come up with to prevent demonic individuals or those related to them from sneaking into this place.

No matter how undetectable it is, it will still be uncovered before that energy. In short, it is a scanner.

...

After all sorts of security checks, Kai and the others finally entered the city centre.

But instead of the city they had expected, they saw only an area divided into three sections.

Right in the middle was a huge hemispherical glass building. It was so huge and dazzling that some even had to cover their eyes. It was called a museum.

To the right of it there was a huge building, some distance away, all of them could see a huge open ground with high-tech machines and some buildings. This was the training ground for the soldiers or guards guarding this area. There were also many medical units in this section

On the left section, there were residential areas with many buildings for the soldiers to live.

'Wow, this really is how the armies lived in my previous life. And it's still the same here.'

Looking around, he could see many well disciplined soldiers in batches patrolling the area with stern and alert gazes.

....

"Greetings miss Olivia."

After walking a few steps ahead, a middle aged man with silver hair and blue eyes greeted Olivia with a smile.

And although he looked gentle and easygoing, there was a dignified and savage air around him and although he did not release any aura, it seemed that in this area, he was the centre of the world and everyone had to follow his words.

Yes l he was an Emperor level powerhouse, also called as Samson the savage.

"The greetings all mine sir sam."

Olivia replied courtly like a noble would and her voice filled with respect.

No matter what, treating an Emperor with respect was an unwritten rule in this world and no one can break it, except fellow emperors or monarch powerhouse.

Because to become an Emperor, training was just not enough.

They had to go through countless life and death battles to squeeze their potential out.

And these races could only survive due to these emperors who fought tough and countless foes, second only to monarchs.

Although Olivia was a daughter of a monarch, she still didn't have the right to be arrogant or disrespectful to the emperors.

....

Sam smiled and took everyone to look at these treasures like a guide.

Actually he didn't have to, but knowing that Olivia, the daughter of a monarch was coming, he had to be a guide personally.

This was the respect the emperors had to show the monarch powerhouse.

Because if there was no monarchs in a race, even if there were many emperors, that race will fall.

The gap between a Monarch and an Emperor is more wider than between level 1 and a transcendent!

There was no point in comparing!
