Chapter 15: Shadow and the beginning of cannon
The scene takes us to the chamber of twilights the gate of the chamber lowered as Hades and Delphyne with 2 demon guards walk through and greeted Xylo.
Hades: I will agree to the deal, but if you lie to me my dear boy you will go to the field of punishment am I clear.
He said in a serious tone.
Xylo: Yes father.
I said with a bit of excitement.
Hades: to be honest I don't know why I'm doing this but I do have a feeling that you're telling the truth. I don't know where you got this information but if you are right then the overworld may be in great danger including Olympus.
He said with a worried tone.
Xylo: since when did you care about Olympus I thought you hated their guts.
Hades: even though I hate them they are still my brothers nephews and siblings, I do not wish for them to fall nor do they wish for me to fall.
He said with a sign, he then looked at the guards.
Hades: release him.
He ordered. The two guards walked towards me and started to unlock the chains from my torso wings arms and legs. Once they were unlocks the chains fell on the ground making a loud bang on the metal pentagon. They then release the straps from my wrists and ankles making me fall on my knees. I then moved my hand towards my face where the black metal mask that had enchantments on it and then ripped it off of my face causing me to gasp for air.
I then got myself up and met with Hades's gaze.
Xylo: you know the mask was kind of extra right.
I said with deadpan, he the laughed and said.
Hades: no not at all after what you showed me at Thanatos's I couldn't take any risk of you escaping especially with that much power that could defeat lower gods.
Said with a grin. I then sighed and stretch my wings as I could hear them pop from my back.
Xylo: ah, feels good to be free.
I said while rubbing the tip of my wing. As I was stretching Hades was staring at me intensely.
Hades: You've gotten way more stronger for some reason.
Said in a confused tone, I just look at him and then widen my eyes.
Xylo: oh that well I kinda used a spell before coming to here that allowed me to suck up a lot more magic power and make me grow passively.
I said while yawning.
Hades: ahh I see, always thinking about power are we.
He said while smiling, then turned serious.
Hades: so what now where will you go?
Questioned Hades. I looked at him and smiled.
Xylo: well to the oasis of Demeter of course.
When I said this Delphyne glared at me and said.
Delphyne: why there?
Xylo: because everything that will happen will happen there so I will have to go to camp oasis.
I said and then looked at hades.
Xylo: I will reform you're sword and take them back to Tartarus and help you out for a year but after that I want my freedom.
Hades just nodded and said.
Hades: well before you go to camp oasis Thanatos asked me to give you something before your leave.
Hades said while Pulling out a book from wherever hell it came from, he handed it to me and said.
Hades: Thanatos said that he doesn't need it anymore he also said that you're the only one who has any use for it, i'll also be watching you and your brother while you are at camp to make sure you are not doing anything that you're not supposed to be doing. I'll tell the guards to get you you're stuff for you. camp will not start until a month so you can do whatever you want until then.
After he said this he started to walk away without looking back. I just stared at the book with confusion and said.
Xylo: well that's one thing off the list to do makes my life more easier. I thought I was never going to get the book but I guess I was wrong the plot can stay on course with the book of shadows arc.
I said with a smile while walking behind the two guards who was leading me to my stuff that was stripped from me. After getting my stuff I left the underworld and started to head towards Camp oasis from my cave that I have built I had to clean everything up in the cave because there were spiderwebs everywhere because I wasn't there for two years but nothing else was major.
The reason why I wanted to go to camp oasis from my cave was because it was far away from camp and I could explore the woods and other biomes as I go there. I also wanted to find shadow I don't want to change animals, shadow is shadow and no one can replace him not even my own wings I also need to find a amulet so I can hold him.
1 week later
I was walking through a forest that had a lot of monsters and mythical creatures in it. While going through this forest I have been training my skills in archery because there i these mosquitoes that like to suck every single drop of blood in your body that are the size of cats that keep on attacking my face. Even though they are the worst thing to come into existence they are very good moving targets to practice my archery on.
Anything other than the mosquitoes trying to fuck my face off nothing else really has happened but other creatures that were harmless. I know that shadow is supposed to be here somewhere, I can see a lot of horses around this area. As I was getting more deeper in the forest I finally found him, he was actually dying when I first met him I didn't know anything about medical or medicine so I couldn't save him but I could revive him like Hades did, I took out my book of the dead and started chanting.
Xylo: ~RISE~
As I said this his body started to glow a green aura and his skin started to turn green and his skin started to peel off slowly like a decaying zombie. Shadow opened his pitch red eyes and what he saw was me holding a book looking down at him he looked down at his hooves and freaked out.
Shadow: Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Xylo: calm down buddy it's only temporarily going to be like that so you would have to wait for like a couple weeks before you have a actual clean form.
I said with a smile. Shadow didn't seem that amused so he freaked out even more he didn't even know who I was until now imagine waking up and seeing some dude with a book over you acting like a damn priest and saying that you are a zombie, what would you do.
Xylo: calm down boy, You see you died so I brought you back so you could be my companion there's a lot of benefits for being my companion.
He just looked at me like I was a dumbass or something. Bro this horses smart as hell for no reason no wonder why Xylo got him I'd thought. Then said something that would end the deal.
Xylo: you'll get wings, and plus we won't be a zombie horse for that long you'll be more of a skeleton horse then a zombie horse.
I said with a smirk knowing that he will accept me. After I said this I could've sworn I saw stars in his eyes.
Shadow: Naaaaaaaaahhhhh!!
He said while nodding him head while flesh flung off and hit my face. I'd just deadpan at this while taking the flesh that was flung on my forehead.
Xylo: so do you like the name shadow.
I'd said while staring at him waiting for a answer.
Shadow: Naaahhhhh!!!
Shadow agreed.
Xylo: good I like the name to.
I said while getting up, he got as well.
Xylo: we need to make you a saddle which shouldn't be that hard with all the materials around here especially cows will be useful for that matter.
I said while looking around, I looked back at him and had a idea.
Xylo: how about I put you in the amulet while I try to make you a saddle you can also use this time to shed your zombie skin I know that it will go away sooner or later but this will make a little bit more faster. to be honest I don't want rotten flesh on my body while I ride you it's kind of uncomfortable don't you agree.
Shadow: Naaahhhhh!
He said with agreement he looked sad while looking at my wings. I noticed this and reinsured him.
Xylo: shadow I am a lazy person and to be honest the only time I ever use my wings is in a fight most of the time I'm gonna be using you to get around places so you don't have to worry about that. maybe I can use you in a fight one of these days who knows you'll get your chance.
I said with a smile, shadow then became more excited when he heard this.
Xylo: Well it's time to go in the amulet.
Said while pulling out the amulet from my pocket it had a green gem surround with bones. Once I had it in my palm grey energy surrounded shadow and he suddenly got sucked into the amulet by unknown force causing him to disappear from the spot he was at.
Xylo: well that's done now that I got shadow I can now get the stuff that I need to take care of him but shouldn't be that hard because most things that he needs is just a saddle and probably some nice armor to go along with it.
I said well trying to search for some leather.
3 weeks later start of cannon.
Xylo: I finally found the camp.
I said as I flew towards the Front of the camp that had two large statues, The entrance had couple trees and a fountain at the center that made it look more welcoming. There was two people standing in front of the camp waiting for instructions. As I got closer to the entrance I recognize the two individuals that were standing there.
Xylo: Jakey and Mitch huh.
I muttered as I landed my horse shadow onto the Sandy entrance. Jakey and Mitch noticed me, Mitch waved his hand as well as Jakey.
Mitch: Hello seems like you're another demigod it's nice to meet someone like us.
Xylo: Nice to meet you the name is Xylo the son of Hades, you are?
I said with a smile. as Mitch was about to say something Jakey interrupted him.
Jakey: my name is Jakey I am the son of Poseidon this here in my hand is the Trident.
He said with a smile, Mitch sighed at this and introduced himself.
Mitch: Mitch another son of Poseidon, I'm surprised to see a son of Hades here there are not that many of them to be honest.
He said with sigh and a smile.
Xylo: well it's very nice to meet you both and yes I am the son of Hades and I also have another brother coming here apparently what I've heard from father so don't be too surprised that there are multiple sons of Hades he always liked the bed a lot.
I said with a deadpan look which made both of them sweat a little.
Mitch: would it be funny that there was two sons of Zeus here.
Mitch said with a chuckle.
Xylo: It would.
I'd laughed a little, it seems like he's gonna be a fun guy to hang out with, sadly he won't be here for another year after this.
Jakey: surprise that you know your father we know ours but we do know that Hades doesn't like to talk to his children that much he follows the rules unlike other gods.
Jakey said, I sighed at this.
Xylo: well I wasn't really supposed to meet my father but certain circumstances made me do so he's not really fond of me right now because of what I am don't ask anymore questions about it we'll just wait here for others to come.
I said, Mitch was about to say something but stopped himself and just ignored it and waited for the other demigods.
As we were waiting a girl with white wings and blond hair, flew on top of a little pillar that was attached to the gate that was stretching across the entrance of the camp. She had chicken feet and war short jeans with a light purple sweater, she was observing us with no expression on her face while sitting on the pillar. As time continued more and more people started to show up, and the cannon as now began.

Xylo's base form is as physically as strong as Mors and is magically as powerful as the seductive rose's second form from the beginning of s3.
Xylo's book boy form is as magically as strong if not more stronger than the seductive rose's final form, he also surpasses Nads berserk forms physical strength as well.
This is just to clarify what Xylo's actual power is just so that you won't get confused for later chapters.
