"Felix, answer me. Do you know these people? Do you know who Serafina and Philippe are?" He stayed silent, but his eyes were anywhere but mine. Felix shoved a hand in his pocket and brought out his mobile; his fingers dragged across the screen, and he quickly put it on speaker. It was Vic that he was calling. I looked at him in confusion, and Felix muttered the words, "Trust me." It took Vic four rings before finally answering the call. "Vic, hey. Are you busy tonight?"

"Not really. Another card was sent to me, but the job was done. The person died of a heart attack. What are you calling me for?"
