CHAPTER ONE
Page 2- _An old acquaintance_
She couldn't believe it. Standing there all her memories flashed back at her. As if resonating with the list, a past left behind closed in on her mind. The name of an old friend she once knew years ago and had made an impact in her life, hanged on the board as well. Feelings akin to happiness and anger sprung up from within like a geyser of steam - boiling water. She stood in cogitation until she heard girls yelling in the hallway.
Rintaro wasn't much of the curious masses who would care about "what the monkey's mind chatters about" because, believe it or not, she hated crowds to her guts. But when she heard the name Keisuke, like an owl's head, her's twisted on its own to check if it was him. Her whole face turned bright red.
He caught a glimpse of Rin's face and called out to her. But of course she had no intention of meeting him after the trivial scene that had happened back then.
So she dashed to homeroom class as it was about to begin. "What is he doing here?, well i think i know the answer to that", whispered Rintaro getting ready to seat in the middle mahogany, seventy-seven centimeter high - chair of a three row renovated class at the back.
Keisuke Senami was the mysterious kind and polite boy, who used to play with Rintaro in her childhood.
His hair was silvery-white with a slicked back base and mid-high, while short strands of it curled out a bit. His eyes had a faint blood moon red colour with eyebrows curved like new moons. He had pale white skin, which almost matched his hair. Glamorous eyes, thin - tall( _about 1 and a half to 2 metres_ ) and a bit muscular, this is what many girls liked, which bugged Rin a lot. He was so irresistible, and that gentle smooth voice of his was like a charm meant to exchange whispers of love. Contrary to Rintaro Haruno he was super rich.
The Senami group and oil producing industries were from his family. Keisuke's mother was a manager of three, five star hotels, and a famous restaurant in Hokkaido. He never really had to work hard in school but nevertheless, he was an S-ranking student ( _lit.S- meant the best of best_ ) as classes were graded in accordance to acquiring a rank. Rankings were from F ( _failure_ ) reaching up to S( _Creme da le creme_ ). All his aspects were of high-class and Rintaro admired him, but after what had happened, she couldn't face him head on. All said in the end, she was the wrong one and had clinged to a childish reality instead of an understanding. But that was years ago and she was still a kid. She sat confused on her chair and lied down as the homeroom teacher introduced herself. Everyone started chattering again, but the footsteps from the door tip-tapped loud enough for Rintaro to hear and even made her tense up. The teacher started introductions of a late student. "This is our new student from abroad Keisuke Senami!," she shouted. Rin's heart skipped a beat as if on the brink of a failure.
