Chapter 14: CHAPTER 14: TORNADO IN THE BAY
P.O.V SUPERBOY
Megan manages to get us out of the tornado, she maneuvers with the ship until we manage to land and get down safely near a factory, we don't think about it and we all go out ready to see what really hit us, there are many people screaming and running everywhere, something is definitely happening here.
"Robin are tornadoes common in this place...Robin?"
"Hahahahaha"
"Robin? He was with us."
"He always does the same thing, Everyone fast inside the factory".
As soon as we enter the factory we see Robin shoot out towards one of the walls, luckily I manage to jump in time and catch him in the air before the impact against the wall.
"Who's your new friend?"
"Very funny kid flash, but I don't know his name, although he does play a little rough."
"My apologies young man, that was a little rude of me, you can call me Mr. Twister."
"Hey you shouldn't steal someone else's name, we already have a tornado on our side."
"kid Flash concentrate."
I stepped forward and tried to surround him along with wally, Mr. Twister aimed at Wally's feet causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground, then with a tornado, he sends him flying through one of the windows taking him out of the factory to the outside, while just as he did with him, he aimed at my feet but this time the wind was more powerful to the point that it sent me flying towards one of the walls of the factory.
"I was preparing to fight a real superhero, I wasn't expecting to fight children."
"We're not kids!"
Robin lunges at Mr. Twister again this time he is accompanied by Krypto, and the others follow him, I can't stay behind I have to support them, I feel my anger getting bigger and bigger and my body is getting stronger.
In a moment, with different tornadoes, he sends us all flying in different directions, except for Robin and Aqualad who crash into each other. After making a fool of us, it flies outside, it must be trying to flee, or it is looking for something, whatever the case may be, I have to stop it before it does more damage.
We all recover and manage to get outside, wally is still fighting with tornado outside the factory.
I try to hit him but he dodges me at the last second, he's fast, he's good in close combat and his forte is long-distance fighting thanks to the tornadoes.
Still not letting it escape, we all attack Mr. Twister again, and we manage to attack more coordinated.
"What do you want?"
"Well dark glasses guy it's simple I want a real hero to fight with."
"Well what are we going to play with like that, Miss Martian find a weakness, read his mind fast."
"But aqualad, ¿Isn't it that I couldn't do that?"
"Bad guys are an exception"
Megan tries to read his mind while Krypto and Wally distract him, kaldur and Robin cover Megan, and I'm waiting to get an opening to deliver a full-force punch.
"Nothing I get nothing."
I throw myself into the first opening I see, but it's like I have eyes in my back, he sends me flying along with krypto near the base, and Wally backs up and catches us both.
"Something's not right."
" You're right Robin, something is very suspicious."
"For a moment there I thought I was the only one who noticed it."
" ¡Of course Robin!, how did it not occur to me Mr. Twister is the same red tornado, that's why I couldn't read his mind because he's a machine, and also have the same powers to create tornadoes"
"Speedy said it we are a joke."
Everyone stops attacking and we get closer to a tornado, it feels frustrating that Red tornado does this. It makes sense after he said that very soon we would be tested.
And more so when he was the one who gave us this mission, plus it's very convenient that he just has the same abilities as him.
"We already know who you are, stop pretending red tornado, it's obvious it's you."
" Apparently they are more incredulous than they seem, do they really think I'm red tornado?"
The Mr. Twister rises even higher than where it was initially and begins to generate a tornado so powerful and large that the sky turns dark and lightning begins to strike.
"Ehh... Guys... Can red Tornado do that, because from what I understand that doesn't do it."
"Shit, kid flash, everybody, watch out!"
We managed to dodge some lightning, he is concentrating all his attention on creating the lightning, now he is exposed, this is my chance to strike a blow, I just have to watch out for the lightning, I'll show everything I've learned and trained in this last week, it's now.
P.O.V ROBIN
Holy crap, how could we believe that he was red tornado, now we have a bigger problem with these lightning bolts, and besides the tornadoes already hit most of us, it's just me and superboy standing.
Superboy thinks the same as me by the look he has fixed on Mr. Twister, it is exposed, we can attack, and even if lightning hits one of the two, the other will be able to deliver a direct hit.
Well, superboy started to move and I jump straight at Mr. Twister, I will try to go around.
"ARGHH!"
Shit, one of the beams hit superboy directly in the chest.
Another tornado is coming my way, I got distracted watching superboy, and I don't have time to dodge, shit, shit, shit, good thing Batman isn't around to see this.
"ARGHH!"
Shit, we're all on the ground, we're dead, Mr. Twister is coming towards us, and if I fail now here batman will kill me.
¿what is this my eyesight gets weird? it's like I see a Mr. Twister a little distorted, no, it's not that, it's Megan, she's covering us with her bio-ship in camouflage mode.
"What is it...."
Shit, Wally woke up, but Megan managed to get her hand on Wally's face.
"You kids aren't up to the level of a real hero, you can't hide forever, I'll find you."
Despite his threat, it is surprising that he doesn't detect us standing literally in front of him. After his words, he flew off again to the nearby town.
Apparently, everyone is already awake and on their feet, we have to go fast before he does more damage and the league blames us. At the moment the one who doesn't look happy at all is superboy.
"Megan you made us think the tornado was red tornado, what happened?"
"Calm down superboy it was just a mistake he didn't do it on purpose."
"Yeah you're right it was a rookie mistake. don't you think so, Robin?"
It's better not to make things worse than they already are, we need to stick together, or at least most of us.
"Superboy is right we shouldn't have listened to her, you're pretty inexperienced."
Kid Flash and Superboy go ahead to follow Mr. Twister, I'm not going to stay behind we have to stop this as soon as possible.
"Go to the ship Megan, we'll take it from here."
"But Aqualad... I... I was just trying to be part of the team."
"I really don't know if we have a team, but at least we're trying to create one, come on Aqualad."
Shit we are late there are tornadoes all over the place, houses destroyed, and a lot of people running, Wally and superboy are fighting, thank goodness Aqualad is coming with me, we can still win.
We arrive on time, the Mr. Twister throws us a boat that is in the bay, and kaldur and I get separated, the good side is that I managed to cover myself in the place where Wally is, I take advantage that superboy, and kaldur are fighting together and I take out my belt.
"You brought the utility belt seriously?"
"I don't leave home without it, it was one of the first things Batman taught me."

Shit, Megan's voice echoes loudly in my head again, the others are the same way, this could be tricky in combat. A shit tornado hit superboy and sent him flying into one of the few houses left standing.
- ¡¿What did we tell you, Megan?!-
Wait, can we talk too, well at least, superboy is still alive after that blow from what I just heard.
