-Busted.
Victor POV.
/"Tsk Tsk, I thought you learned your lesson after the last time,/" Demetri says he's the best tracker I know off, and he works for the Volturi of course.
/"What are you doing here?/" I ask trying to sound nonchalant.
/"Take a wild guess,/" he says playing along with me, but we both knew why he's here and what he's up to.
/"You want to party? You're a bit late though,/" I say to him, the night was almost over, I was ready to leave.
/"Oh no thank you, I'll join the party back at home, let's go,/" he says getting hold of my arm and dragging me out of the club and back home, I didn't want to go home, not after getting caught, dad is going to have my bum.
/"Ahh Demetri! Let me go! Let me gooooo!/" I scream in his ear making sure to annoy him, I don't like this.
/"Stop it,/" he says between gritted teeth, I'm attracting too many eyes with my screams.
/"Then let me gooo! Let me gooo!/" I scream again, this time he finally let me go, I don't like it when someone holds me down, I hate being restrained, I'm a free spirit.
/"I'll walk him home, come on Victor,/" Jane orders me, she offered me a hand, and had a kind smile on her face, even if she's ordering me around, the smile she saves only for me, I would go with her every time.
/"I don't like him,/" I mumble walking back to the castle with Jane, although I'm on a good term with all of the guards, Demetri isn't my favourite, that man can't even play hide and seek.
/"None of us does, come on, let's get you to bed,/" she says walking me toward the castle, the night was almost over, I could still hide until the morning.
I didn't dare to sleep in my room, it's the first place he'll look at, instead, I went to Jane's room, she doesn't need the sleep, but she needs the room, and she doesn't mind having me here, I really need the sleep though. I took off my clubbing clothes, sleeping in my boxers only in Jane's bed, she checked on me, messed with my hair and kissed my head goodnight before leaving to meet with Alec. I closed my eyes enjoying my sleep, I don't need to sleep for long, just a few hours are enough for me, I'm only half-human.
/"He's calling you,/" Hailey, our current house secretary says going inside Jane's room, if I'm being summoned that isn't a good sign to my bum.
/"Fine,/" I say getting up, I can't push this any longer, I'm going to have to go down and check with them. I left Jane's room and went to mine, I can't hide anymore, I got dressed for the day, deciding to wear something dad would approve of, but after a second thought, he's already mad at me. I decided on jeans and a jumper, fixing my hair, I walked to their throne room slowly, whatever they want to call their playroom.
/"Father,/" I say walking in trying to sound confident, not that I'm scared, I saw him and my two uncles sitting in their chairs. I also saw the others in there, including Demetri, Jane, Alec, and Felix.
Unlike Demetri, Felix is my older brother, no one would mess with you if Felix is there to protect you, he doesn't have any big talents other than his strength but that's okay, not all of us have to be that talented.
/"Victor, it's so nice of you to finally join us,/" Aro was the first to speak.
/"Hey uncle,/" I say with a shy smile.
/"Where are your shoes little boy?/" Caius asks me, I look down and remember that I forgot to put on shoes, again.
/"Forgot them,/" I mumble looking down, I don't want them to assign a nanny to me again, I'm too old for that, I can take care of myself, I tried to sense the emotions of the room.
That's my talent, I could sense the emotion of the room, but I'm not just an empath, I don't just sense the emotions, I could make everyone else feel mine, if I'm happy, I make everyone in the castle happy, when I'm sad it's like a dark cloud is passing over the whole place, they prefer to keep me happy mostly. Dad was disappointed, he doesn't like it when I go out without permission, uncle Aro was his perky self as ever, and uncle Caius was just bored, he loves me, I could feel it but right now, he's bored.
/"Where were you last night Victor?/" dad asks in a firm voice, I try to project some calmness from me to him but it was kind of hard since I wasn't calm, I was scared.
/"No where,/" I lie, making Demetri scoffs, I glare at him.
