Amanda kept looking at the crow and patted it for a while, until she fell asleep looking at it. The crow rested itself on her arm, as it kept looking at her beautiful face. Several hours passed, and the crow finally flew out of the balcony door.
A few hours later...
It was only five in the morning, when suddenly Amanda heard a few screaming noises in her ears. She frowned a bit and opened her eyes in confusion. She could now clearly hear a girl's scream who seemed to be asking for help. "Huh!?? Someone is in trouble."
Amanda quickly got off from the bed and rushed out of the door towards the stairs. There were already several girls gathered around the garden area, while Amanda halted near the stairs looking at the commotion.
The girl who was screaming was none other than Lilly, who seemed to he bleeding from her cheeks and arms. She was lying down in the garden, while several girls rushed towards her. The old lady, who was in charge of the hostel was sprinting towards Lilly, and looked mighty angry.
"Lilly!! How dare you try to steal Amanda 's money from the drawer. Had the crow not created a ruckus near the window, I would have never known about it and the entire blame would have been on Amanda . Even though you have been badly injured by the crow, but I have no sympathies with you." The old lady grumbled as she brought a pack of first aid towards Lilly.
Amanda gasped in shock, realizing what had happened. Lilly was trying to steal the amount she had deposited to the old lady and the crow must have noticed it and hurt Lilly in return. "Oh goodness. The crow saved me again from a disaster."
Instantly Amanda heard the noise of a flickering wing and she turned to see the crow sitting on her balcony wall again. Amanda smiled and rushed towards the balcony, closing her room's door behind her. "You saved me again. Thank you."
Amanda was about to reach the crow but it suddenly flew away, after glancing at her. "Huh?"
It seemed that the crow just came to check, if the girl was alright and then instantly flew away, leaving Amanda utterly confused. She walked back to her bed and lied down going off to sleep again.
That day Amanda had spent the entire day, packing up all her stuff and by the evening the girl had almost completed packing up everything. Since Lilly was no longer in the hostel, Amanda knew she now had all the liberty to sit in the hostel lobby and watch television. After Lilly's injury nobody even dared to say anything to Amanda , as she walked in the lobby area, turning on the television.
Suddenly a group of girls entered the lobby area talking to each other happily.
"I love my new dress. I am sure nobody can buy a dress as costly as me." Spoke up a girl, proudly, as she held a wide bag in her hands.
"Of course Henna. Who can compete you in money and looks." The second girl nodded her head in agreement.
Amanda thought for a moment and a wide smile erupted on her face. "It is time to teach them a good lesson for tomorrow's farewell ceremony." She quickly got up on her feet, rushing towards her room.
Quickly she took out all the remaining currency notes, and walked out of the hostel on a shopping spree till late hours of the evening.....
