Chapter 3: The Confession of love and The Accident
When Nawfi first met Shugo, [Past]
Nawfi was going to school. Some boys were standing by the road.
"Hey! Guys look at that guy's uniform, it's from Izomu High."
"So, we've got a fish to fry."
"Hey! You kid from Izomu High" one of the boys said to Nawfi, "Hang in there. If you want to live.. you know what I mean ,right?"
Nawfi stood silently without saying a word.
"Well..well..this boy is quite polite. I like his attitude. "the boy said, "for your good behavior we will ask you some questions and let you go."
"But if you don't answer correctly, we'll beat the crap out of you." the boy added with blood chilling look," You will just say Yes or No as answer . And by the way, you can't say No. If you do, you get punched for every single No. Am i clear to you?? "
"Yes"
"Okay, first question, do you know Kenji Hasagaya?"
"N..o"
"Huh! I think I heard wrong... say that again"
"N..o"
"SMAK!!!"
"Damn.. this Brat ruined my mood."the boy annoyed, "Change the game, beat him until he says Yes"
" SMAK!!!...."

After a while,
"Hey! Kazuki, he's going to die at this rate."
"So what? Do you want to be beaten in his place instead ?" Kazuki said angrily.
"No..no..I don't"
"Then do as I say"
Suddenly a boy came,
"Excuse me" Shugo said in a scared voice,"Please..don't beat him"
"Who is this boy?" Nawfi was thinking and looked at his face, "He seems weaker than me. So why?"
"What!!... Hey! Boy, if you don't want to get beat up, leave."
"that's right. it's your chance. just leave." Nawfi thought.
"Okay..but" Shugo said fearfully, "Can you please let him go too."
"is he out of his mind?" the boys were murmuring.
"Kazuki lets him go but he refuses..he is dead now"
"What is he thinking!!!" Nawfi thought and looked at Shugo.
"Hey brat! If you really want to die then say it.." Kazuki said, "Just don't waste my time."
"Sorry, I don't want anyone to suffer "Shugo said," please, let him go."
"Ahhhh..Damn you!!.It's nothing to do with you." Nawfi Shouted angrily, "just Leave already!"
"POOWWW!!"Kazuki kicked Nawif in the face, "Bitch! That was too loud!"
"I had enough of this shit." Kazuki said, "just beat those two up"
"BAAAMM!!!"
"SMAK!....SMAK!"
"BANG!!!"
After some time,
"This is getting boring" Kazuki said, "Let's go guys."
"What about them?"
"Let them be."
Shugo's nose was bleeding and his glasses were broken. He put on the broken glasses.
"They're finally gone." Shugo asked ,"are you okay?"
"Do I seem okay to you?" Nawfi replied,
"BLARG!!.." Nawfi was vomiting blood.
"no.. sorry..i will do something for you."
"No need.. it's fine." Nawfi asked,"why did you trying to save me? "
" I don't want anyone to get hurt."
"haha..You're a weirdo.. you know it, right?"
"I saved your ass. And you're making fun of me? "
"Sorry for that...and Thank You for saving my ass."
[ Present]
Everyone was returning home after the school period.
Nawfi was packing his books to go home.Some guys were talking in class.
"Hey! Guys let's go to karaoke"
"Sorry, I have to go home early today. You guys go without me."
"Ah.. that's no fun.. what about you, Masashi?"
"Sorry.. Me too.. I have to help my dad at the store."
"Damn, then what am I going to do alone?"
"Boys!!…the boy from the basketball team Second year student named Shin, is going to propose to Class B-1's Asumi behind the gym.. Let's see"A boy came running.
" yeah..Let's see."
" Another confession?..huh!"Nawfi was thinking while leaving the class room.
Next to the Gym,
Some boys were whispering,
"I think she'll accept him."
"Maybe..because he's popular after all. I heard he played in the national match. Soon he'll be the captain of the basketball team."
"I envy him..man!!!..to think that, accepted by a beauty like Asumi."
"He has talent.. so, what you'd expect."
"But her father is one of the richest men in the country. Will she accept him?"
"Don't know..Let's see what happens next."
"I don't care if she accepts or not because...the school goddess Ayane san is single and has never dated before."

Nawfi came closer to Gym.
"Asumi-san, I like you."Shin proposed to her, "Please go out with me!"
"Sorry, I won't go out with you."she said and left.
[Whispers]
" Damn!! that was too harsh."
"I don't think I can propose any girl in my life"
"Same here..man!"
[Nawfi was thinking.]
I don't know what I should do? What if I get rejected? It's all over then..our long time friendship!
What if she thinks of me as just a friend,

"Nawfi! You're horrible... I thought we were friends... How could you say such a thing."
He was scared.
What if she thinks of me as a brother,

"Nawfi! You are unspeakable!!...I thought of you as my brother...and you told me this?...don't talk to me anymore."
He got frightened.
What if she likes someone else,

"How disgusting!!... Don't you know, I love someone else yet you ask me out ?..I hate you!!!!"
He was very terrified and sat down on the ground with both hands on his head.
"No..no..I can't tell her."Nawfi was thinking out loud.
"Nawfi." Almus called him.
"No..if I don't tell her then nothing will happen, right?...yeah...That's right."He ignored his surroundings.
" hey! Nawfi. " Almus called him again.
"But… if I don't tell her now. It will be too late. I can't do that either…" he was asking himself, "So what should I do now?"
"Nawfi!!" Almus shouted loudly.
"Oh..it's Almus..I thought.."he confused and said," Almus listen, I can't propose her."
"What are you talking about??" Almus said, "I have already prepared everything."
"But.. what if she rejects?"
"Don't think too much about it.. just do as i say."
"Okay" Nawfi mumbled.
"Now..keep this rose and go to class A-3…she'll be there." Almus tried to calm him down with a smile,"Don't worry.. it will be fine."
"Oh..Shougo san, said to wish you luck." Almus added, "And Kenji kun will reward you. Whatever you got accepted or not.. I don't know what he means though."
"I know" Nawfi forced himself to smile as he remembered Kenji's reward, "I'm going now."
[In front of Class A 3]
Everyone already left,
"Okay then." He was going to open the door,
He heard someone talking and he stopped the door from opening.
"So, what do you want to talk to me about, Ichiro-san?"
"Ichiro-san?... Isn't he the top student in school?... What does he want to talk about, with her?"He thought and opened the door slightly without noticing anyone.
"Ayane san!...I like you..please go out with me."
"What!!.. is he asking her out?..." Nawfi panicked and was thinking,
"Huh! Why wouldn't he ask her out?... He got top grades and is good looking too... I'm nothing compared to him."he was depressed,"i think, i should leave now."
"I like you too, Ichiro san"Ayane said,
Nawfi was shocked and the rose fell from his hand.
He left without thinking.
" Bu..."
Ayane noticed someone leaving from the other side of the door.
Outside the school building,
"So, she likes that guy.. huh!" He smiled sadly and almost burst into tears," Isn't it nice to see her happy? "
He was walking towards the school gate and saw Almus.He wiped his eyes quickly and tried to smile a little.
"Nawfi!! How did it go?" Almus was standing by the gate.
"About what?"
"Dummy!! About your confession to Ayane. What else?"
"Oh…that?…it went well" Nawfi gave a fake smile,"There is someone she likes."
"Thank god.. I was scared.. I thought you would be rejected for sure."Almus wasn't listening whole and started joking.
"Then there will be a party today." Almus suddenly became busy, "I'll call everyone then."
"wait.. what??" Almus shocked,
"Yeah..she likes someone." He smiled softly with a deep sadness, " I'm leaving now."
Almus looked at Nawfi and didn't say a word.
Nawfi was walking on the empty street for a while.
Near an alley suddenly,
"Why.. Whhyyy!!!" Nawfi kept punching the wall and started screaming and crying,"Why does it have to be me??"
"Why? Ayane..Why??" He was bleeding and crying, "No... no... it's not her fault, it's me always been useless."
"It's alright . She should be fine with him." He calmed himself with a painfully soft smile, "I just want her to be happy."
He stood up and started walking.Blood was dripping from his hands drop by drop.
While crossing the road , he saw, a girl of his age almost got hit by a truck.He rushed to save the girl and tried to throw her on the outside of the road.But he couldn't come back and fell in front of the truck.
"CRUSH!!!"
"Hey! Someone call an ambulance."
"lift him up..he is bleeding too much. In this way he will die at any time"
"Then I will die like this..huh!"Nawfi was talking to himself at his last moments.
