Chapter 56: Chapter 56 - The Three-Headed Dog

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were wandering in the dark corridors of Hogwarts when they stumbled upon a locked door guarded by a massive, three-headed dog.

"Oh my god, what is that thing?" Hermione gasped.

"I don't know, but we have to get out of here," Harry said urgently.

"We can't just leave it here," Ron protested. "What if it's dangerous?"

"Ron's right," Hermione agreed. "We need to find out what it's guarding."

"But how are we going to get past it?" Harry asked, eyeing the dog warily.

"We'll have to distract it somehow," Hermione said thoughtfully.

"I'll do it," Ron offered bravely.

"No, Ron, it's too dangerous," Hermione protested.

"I'll be fine, Hermione." "Just watch," Ron said, grabbing a nearby stick.

Ron bravely threw the stick, distracting the dog enough for Harry and Hermione to slip past the door. They made it to the other side just in time before the dog snapped back to attention.

"That was too close," Harry said, breathing a sigh of relief.

"But what could be so important that it needs to be guarded by a three-headed dog?" Hermione wondered aloud.

"I don't know, but we need to find out," Harry said determinedly. "Let's go."

The time passed, and one morning Harry was speaking with Hagrid.

Harry approached Hagrid's hut, his heart pounding in his chest. He had to know what was guarding the trapdoor in the forbidden corridor.

"Hagrid, can we talk?" Harry said, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Of course, Harry," Hagrid said, looking up from his giant cookbook.

"I was just wondering... what's the most important when it comes to handling monsters?" Harry asked, his eyes fixed on Hagrid's face.

Hagrid's expression turned smily. "There are some ways and some importance to this question," he said.

"What do you think is the most important?" Harry asked again. ,

Hagrid said. "The most important thing would be knowing how to calm it down."

"How do we do that?" Harry asked.

"You have to play music for it," Hagrid said. "Most of the creatures falls asleep to the sound of music."

"Music?" Ron asked, looking puzzled.

"Yeah, music," Hagrid repeated, nodding his head. "And not just any music, mind you. It's got to be something special."

"Special?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah, special," Hagrid said, grinning. "I reckon I know just the thing."

After Harry learned from Hagrid that they needed music to calm the three-headed dog, he quickly ran to find Ron and Hermione. He found them in the Gryffindor common room, sitting by the fireplace.

"Guys, I just talked to Hagrid," Harry said, panting slightly from his run. "He said we need music to get past the three-headed dog. It's the only way to calm it down."

Ron and Hermione looked at each other in surprise.

"Music?" Ron said it incredulously. "What kind of music?"

"I don't know," Harry replied. "Hagrid didn't say. But we need to figure it out if we want to get past that dog and find out what's guarding the sorcerer's stone."

Hermione's face lit up with excitement. "I know exactly what we need to do!" she exclaimed. "We need to research the different types of music that can calm down animals. We can start with Fluffy's breed and go from there."

Ron looked skeptical. "Do you really think that's going to work?" he asked.

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Of course it will, Ron. Music has been used to calm animals for centuries. It's just a matter of finding the right type."

Harry remembered something at that time.

"I believe there was a big harp in the room of that three-headed dog."

Hermione then nodded.

"So, the one who enters the place uses Harp to calm down the creature before entering."
