Chapter 6: Professional training (edited)
This is my first time writing anything related to a fight scene so it'll probably be meh or bad but I'll come back and edit it when I'm better

Waking up early around 7am I prepared myself for the day and by 8am I was already making my way to the royal training grounds.
When I arrived no one was present but that changed after a few minutes as both Azula and Zuko arrived. The large court yard was nothing but dirt Sounded by high walls to prevent the spread of fire, it was unappealing but teaching fire bending most likely requires a hard, harsh environment.
After having casual conversation with the twins for around 10 minutes our instructor finally arrived. He was a well toned middle aged man with short black hair and the typical orange eyes of the fire nation citizens.
" greeting royals" he said with a bow " my names is Balakin, I will be your instructor from now on" after this we introduced ourself too and began to start he first requested a duel to see the level we are currently all at. Of course we agree since combat is what we are after to improve.
After a short discussion and Azula wanting to see me lose at something for once I went first.
Getting into positions for a typical duel which meant 20 metres apart we bowed and Zuko counted us in "ready, set, fight!" knowing my opponent was stronger then myself I decided to concentrate on fast, heavy attacks.
Before I could react a torrent of flame spread outwards me these flames were hot, a higher temperature then mine meaing they could hurt me!. Not wanting to be hit I go into a defensive position and used my own fire to bend and redirect it to the sides of the arena. Balakin was shocked by my successful defence and immediately responded as I also sent a stream of fire his way.
Balakin decided to meet it head on with his own flame. As expect his fire bending was superior and dispersed mine. Our instructer quickly sent a counter which I jump and I performed a axe kick amplified by my bending sending a concealed stream towards the man. As one would of expect he yet again met it head on before running towards me and sucker punching me in the nose ending the duel.
Lying on the ground looking into the sky I couldn't help but lament at how week I was, some fire nation cannon fodder had bested me. 'What a make up call huh, power is slow to get'.
"Hahahaha… that's what you get for teasing me all the time " that sentence was shouted from the stands through laughs and choked muffles. Not even replying I just stayed lying down thinking about what I could do better.
30 ish seconds later I heard footsteps and someone crouched down above my head. Who else would it be but the one and only Azula. " what are you thinking so hard about mael" she asked in a soft voice. Turing my head back abit to see her face I replyed. " I'm thinking how to get you back of course, what would I do in my spare time if not bully you" this however got me a light slap on the forehead and made me decided to stand up " it's time for you to lose good luck" as i walked off all I could hear was another scoff.
Azulas battle went as must would think she lost miserably just like me. Just as she was about to complain I laughed at her and gave her a look that said 'told you so' . This made her quite down and come over to me and Zuko all be it pouty.
I could tell she was angry, she must have believed that she'd do better then me which was kind of cute. Just as she arrived zuko went into the area got ready and began his match. Arguably doing alittle worse than Azula but all our defeats where so bad that it didn't really matter.
We weren't give much feedback just told to come back tomorrow after we recovered and so we did. The next morning the three of us were they're and ready to learn.
What he had to teach us was very important as it was how to move, breathe and combo bending together correctly. We were also taught hand to hand combat and also swordsmanship.
This became a daily routine and yet again after six months me and Azula give the instructer a run for his money whist Zuko was a few steps behind.
The most exciting part however was that both Ty Lee and Mai had appeared. The chemistry between both Mai and Zuko was amazing you could tell they were meant for each other.
However the most interesting part of all this was the increase in stats we all had and my relationship growth with Azula.

Sitting in my court yard I couldn't help but look up at the sun every once in a while. Due to my passive skill sunshine my body is around as strong as captain America but I don't think it'll grow stronger anymore due to my age being a limiting factor.
Just as I was about to have my daily nap under the tree Azula walked in with her new friends Mai and Ty Lee. " little Azula I was just about to have my afternoon nap, what brings you to my humble room." Looking at me with a conceding smile she pulls out a pack of cards.
Seeing this I can't help but sigh since I'm awful at any card related games, I do however enjoy playing them with the three as they make it interesting with dares or truths Zuko used to play until Ty Lee dared them to kiss.
Walking towards the three I couldn't help but think to myself ' Azula is much different in this timeline due to me, less violent, and kinder to her friends. Be that as it may she still seeks her fathers attention not only that she still has a little sadistic streak. I'll have to fix her daddy issues soon'
