Chapter 15: Challenging The Chief Commander
Miss Piah seems to point over towards a tavern in the area. She then starts to say to you, "I believe they went over to that tavern. They were going to meet up with us here as well. I'm not sure what is taking them so long though, as they should have arrived much earlier."
She then starts to sigh as she then starts to ask Max, "Was there anything else you were in need of before we started to move?"
The girl in the red armor comes back and quickly walks towards Max with a serious manner. The girl in the red armor points her sword at Max, as she stares straight into his eyes with a look of hatred.
She then starts to say to Max, "Now... Now... What happened here then?"
She then gets silent and starts to listen to Max's response, as she stares straight into his eyes while clutching onto her high grade sword.
"Nothing really happened." Max replied with a sarcastic tone.
The girl in red armor seems to be a bit taken back by his rather direct response, as she starts to look a bit unsure of what to say.
She starts to think a moment, as she then starts to lower her sword from Max's neck a little bit, although she is still not lowering it enough to be a safe distance away.
She then starts to say to Max, "I suggest that you explain yourself."
"Explain myself? why should I do that?"
The girl in red armor seems to start to think a bit when Max says this, as she seems to be a bit unsure about whether she should be suspicious of his reply.
Max then sees that girl puts her sword down onto her side, as she starts to lean towards him a little bit more and says to him, "So... Are you hiding something?"
"What now? trying to seduce me?" Max replied, he's not being serious in this situation.
The girl in red armor seems to be a bit shocked by Max suddenly using a flirtatious tactic, as she suddenly seems to freeze up a little bit.
It seems she is starting to become a bit confused by his actions.
"Cat got your tongue pretty lady?"
The girl in red armor seems to stare directly into Max's eyes, seeming to try and read past his bluff.
She then starts to say to Max, "I'm trying to decide what to do with you."
She then takes a step backwards, as she suddenly draws out her sword again.
She then seems to start to speak again, while keeping her eye on Max, "And I still haven't decided on it yet."
""Now... now... Let's not do it here, let's do it outside where there are no people. Miss Piah finds Cain and Luna, I'll deal with this girl"
Miss Piah starts to speak with Max and says, "Are you sure you can handle her? She is a High Grade warrior-mage. She is even stronger than Cain, and much stronger than Luna. I don't want you to get into a fight that you can't win."
"Don't worry I won't lose." Max said, he gives a thumbs up to Miss Piah and smiles warmly at her.
Miss Piah starts to sigh with a very worried look in response to his statement. She then starts to say to Max, "If you say so, but I still think you are biting off more than you can chew."
She then starts to shrug her shoulders, as she says, "Just don't die if you fight her."
Miss Piah starts to walk towards the tavern, as she seems to sigh with worry, before leaving to try and find Luna and Cain.
"Before that... can I have your name?" Max ask.
"Hmmm... maybe... just call me Lady Alicia."
As she goes off, Max hears Lady Alicia start to speak up and then says to him, "So... You want to duel then?"
"Not here... let's do it in the forest where there are no people."
"Ah... Very well then. Let's go to the forest."
Lady Alicia then starts to walk out of the Inn, as she starts to lead Max out of the town and into the middle of the dense forest.
"Make the first move pretty lady,"
Lady Alicia then suddenly rushes towards Max with no hesitation, as she draws her blade and starts to attack him directly.
Max can see her swing coming in towards him, as she tries to land it right into his stomach.
Max manages to quickly dodge from Lady Alicia's initial attack of hers, as he feel a rush of wind from her sword just narrowly miss him.
She then starts to speak up and says to Max, "Now... Now... Why not try your first move? I think it would be rude of me to just keep on attacking without giving you a chance to make some moves first."
"I'm a gentleman... I don't hurt girls."
Lady Alicia seems to have a very smug look on her face when Max make this statement to her. She then starts to say, as she has a very cocky look in her eyes when she does so, "Ah, so you don't think you can beat me then?"
She then starts to speak up from there and says, "Well how about this then, if you manage to beat me you can have my body."
"Now we're talking!"
Max dashes towards Lady Alicia, as he prepare his fist in order to punch her right into her face.
She stops as she starts to see him get very close, as she gets ready to prepare to dodge.
Max punches Lady Alicia directly into her face, as she starts to fly back 5 feet and hits the ground pretty hard.
The woman in red armor starts to look up at him, as she still is a bit dazed from his very powerful punch. She starts to spit out a bit of blood, as she is still currently in quite a bit of pain.
After a moment, she starts to speak up and says to Max, "Okay fine.... I lost."
