Chapter 14: What Did I do?
I bounded up the stairs, and I found mum in the lounge room sound asleep, ahh poor mum grabbed the light throw rug and placed it onto her giving her a gentle kiss on her forehead. Looking in and around the house for dad and Charlotte and I cannot see them, they must be still out sending a text to see where they both are, for them to both quickly send one back saying they are on a dad daughter date. Which they do all of the time, which I think it is sweet, dad will take me out too when he is free and mum takes Alex out when she is free. At first, it started to show us how the opposite sex should treat us, but we kids ended up enjoying the one on one, so they continue to do it. Mum takes us, girls, out too and dad takes Alex out too, no one gets forgotten.
Heading into the kitchen for some food, feeling very hungry. Awesome mum has gone shopping on her way home, pulling out ingredients to cook spaghetti Bolognese, this will last a few days and lunches for everyone. I started prepping the ingredients, and Alex walks into the kitchen. “Yes! You are cooking tonight! Yum!” he cried out in joy, “Shhh you don’t want to wake mum up!” I whispered and snapped at him, “Oh crap sorry didn’t see her on my way up. Where are Dad and Charlotte?” he asked while looking into the pot, “They are out on a date.” I told him, “Ok, good she so needed one.” He told me I stopped in what I was doing, “Did she?” I asked, “Ah twin didn’t tell you?” He said laughing. “You are an assbutt you know that?” I snapped at him, and he starts acting all hurt like I just shot him in the chest, “Don’t throw Cass’s words at me! I introduced you to them!” He snapped, and I poke my tounges out at him, “Oh you may have introduced me to my addiction, but I am the one that has stayed on watching you haven’t!” I snapped at him, “Oh you know why I don’t anymore.” He said, that I do he had gotten too busy with work to have time to watch it, “I could never give up my addiction to Supernatural! Those boys are my life, my blood!” I cried out, “Tone down the drama, you Drama Queen!” he said, “Don’t you have some homework to do?” I asked, “Oh you know I don’t have homework, I have lessons to plan but that’s not homework.”
He storms back downstairs, and I continue on with the cooking, once cooked I started cleaning up and dished up food for myself and Alex and putting the rest into containers. “Mmm that smells amazing sweetheart, thank you for cooking tea and lunches,” Mum said as she walked into the kitchen. “All good mum,” I said, turning around and pulling down a dish for mum too, “All good hun, don’t dish up any for me. I’m going to bed I have already eaten, and found a dam good place that does amazing sushi.” Mum told me, I looked at her in sheer shock, “Oh my really mum? Please take me next time!” I begged I love sushi so much, “Don’t worry I will sweetie. Also that young man I like him, he seems really nice and he has manners so please keep him.” She said cheerfully, “I’ll see mum.” I said, “Night sweetie, see you whenever I see you next.” She said, “It’s ok mum, don’t work yourself to the grave, ok, I will Facetime you, at my normal time.” I said, “Good night sweetheart.” She said again leaning in and giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, I gave her one of each back, “I’m off to find your brother.” She said.
Off she went to look for my brother, grabbed my food, and headed out to the veranda to sit in the hanging egg chair, it’s so peaceful here. Finishing off my dinner and cleaned up, racing downstairs for my laptop and camera, sitting back down in the egg chair passing my brother who had just sat down at the bbq table with his dinner. Was working away not paying much attention until I felt like someone was watching me, looking up in the hopes it was Dimitri, sadly it wasn’t instead it was a very angry looking redhead if looks could kill I would say she wants to kill me. Have no idea what her problem is with me either. Choosing to ignore the crazy person I went back to working on my computer a few minutes later a loud smashing sound had me jumping up high and my brother screaming out in anger. I looked over at him his dinner bowl is smashed and his food was all over the bbq table, “What the bloody hell!” Alex screamed out in anger, “Fucking hell!” I joined in on my brother, looking at the smug cow across from us, “What the fuck is wrong with you?” I yelled out at her, “Stay the fuck away from my man you slut!” She screamed at me.
While I looked at her in shock, is she his girlfriend? “And this is the trouble I was talking about, great I was enjoying that too.” Alex grumbles next to me, “What? What man?” I asked lost, “You know who I am talking about! Dimitri, he is mine not yours you slut!” She screamed at me, while I felt my heartbreak, wow was I falling for him? I cannot be with someone who cheats even when they kiss like that. “Seriously Anastasia! What the fuck is wrong with you! I am not yours never have been and never will be! Whatever you’ve just broken from next door your paying for it! You have twenty-four hours to find some other place to live! I am not dealing with this crazy shit from you!” Dimitri yelled out as he walked outside to the patio, he looked really angry, and the redhead spun around in anger at him, “You sleep with me and tell me this shit?” She cried out, while I felt like throwing something at him right now, “What the fuck? I have never slept with you! You are just saying that to get at Rhiannon!” He yelled at her, and he gave me a sorry look before storming off into the house while she follows yelling back at him they are now screaming in Russian, I looked back at my brother we both mouthed the words what the fuck, “You know how to pick them.” Alex grumbled walking back inside to get cleaning items to clean up the mess, “Oh geez I do, don’t I?” I asked feeling like I may not want to continue with this fun if it involves this much drama already.
