"Man…. Phew…. I really wanted to get transported to the beach, why the f-ck did it have to be a volcano of all thing?"

I…. We were flabbergasted, Liam beside me was red from holding his laughter, while ruby was frightened, why is she scared too, I wondered, everyone's attention was on him, of course I cared less after all I was an acquaintance with that man, he looked at me and smirked. This bastard…this is his way to greet people.

I glanced at Osias…he and the other faction representatives were sweating and slightly shaking looking at Zagreus Lijk my adopted father, except for the vampire lady…she was liking her teeth…by the moment I turned to see him he was standing in front of me, just looking at his grey to copper eyes gives me the chills, looking at him acting carefree suggests that he became adapted to this new world.

it would be a good thing to have him by my side but I can't bring myself to ask anything from that man especially.

Looking behind him, I noticed that people made a way for him. Are they baiting him to represent us? "H-hey don't-"

Am I seeing things? No- no way, I was the stupid all along, now that he showed me his hands, I moved out of his way.

That man had giant star in the palm and five stars engraved in the back of his hand, we were just arguing about who will represent us in the four-stars, now a six-star blessed man appeared, and it is the man that raised me knowing scenarios like this might happen.

He slowly walked towards the others groups, investigating them, before his eyes fell on the vampire lady, he sped up his walking then stood before her, he kept staring at her for like ten seconds while exchanging smiles, he then reached his hands to her and held hers tightly from the finger to kiss them "lady…?"

"Thalia…it's Thalia Mari."

"Pleasured to meet you, lady Thalia Mari"

No! it should have been meee…I fell on my knees, the heck they were acting all lovey-dovey for?…nobody was able to ask him what he was doing, I too was interested in their relationship, they just met but they looked as if they knew each other before…or was it just some basic etiquette? I should get some knowledge on these topics too.

Later he instantly moved to Osias's side and greeted him "ah…it's an honour to meet with you sir Osias, I'm Bob"

Hold up! What was he cooking when he introduced himself like that?

Then my hero Liam opened his mouth, I'm not holding you back now, expose this heretic liar.

"Are you not sir Zagreus? Or perhaps I'm mistaken"

"The latter!" answered the so-called Bob himself

"But I'm sure I-" hesitated Liam.

"How rude of you! Are you doubting Mister Bob?" added the other sweated leaders

"Now, Osias can you lead the way to the city? I need to take a bath as fast as possible."

"Ah, I apologise for the inconvenience, I will lead the way right now"

Brook, are not half dragons supposed to be powerful? They are supposed dominate humans just by their aura.

Then we started walking towards our destination, the other groups were mad, probably because he interrupted what they came for, but that's not my problem.

Ruby and Liam…everybody seemed fine after walking approximately twenty kilometres, I was the only one exhausted.

There is no network here and we have been walking for more than 2 hours, the good part that it was a thick forest, so it was breezy.

"Gustang, want me to carry you on my back" suggested…Ruby, ahh~ of course I would gladly accept, that is what I would have said. S**t, it's a man's duty to do so…men, women…this incident just opened a new path in my mind, where I was holding myself….my embodiment of gender equality's self.

"When a chance comes to you, hold it with your teeth" added Bob smirking.

"Shut it, Bob"

Kuh, suddenly terror stabbed my heart, I can feel a strong bloodthirst from my back, I can hear some murmurs, murmurs of someone insulting my family tree, my neighbourhood, and my whole life, and wishing for me to die the most painful death, then he whispered in my ears "Hey, Gus, why don't we switch roles? you can become a full-fledged three-stars blessed, and I am going to take the role of the harem protagonist and have a great ti-, Ooops! I mean suffer instead of you" I will act as if I didn't notice something.

Time passed and we escaped this forest, Ruby put me down so I can walk myself, I rested enough "thanks, Ruby", and finally we reached our destination

"Attention everyone we have almost arrived to our destination, so you can see it from here"

"Chamenopolis"

"You did a good job there, here is your tip" Bob had to ruin Osias introduction, and proceeded to hand him a 10 cents coin

"ahaha really, then I'm glad" Osias did not just scream royalty vibes also humbleness and purity radiated from his smile, kuh such a light, I need to look at Liam to recover.

Everyone was astonished by how big the city is, it was city that hundreds of millions of residents and still spreading

"We cannot spread any further beyond this island…we will explain that later"

We walked down the mountainside for about fifteen minutes before we reached the gate of the city, it was giant gate, it was not made of wood, not a metal it was a weird material, it was huge so that even if hundreds of beast-men tried to push it won't budge, but it opened automatically at the snap of miss Thalia's fingers.

We passed through the gate, the first thing to greet us was the preparation for a huge occasion, beast-men and vampires' side to side sweeping the group, vampires floating cleaning the windows of the building, elves baking bread and selling it, children of other races playing tags, it was such a wholesome scenery, you can't help but smile and be at ease.

I didn't ask him anymore, I just did as he told and it enjoyed that scenery as it lasted, until a child came running towards fath-, our representative and hugged him, "Are you going to beat the evil monsters and save us?"

Children who were playing, boys and girls all surrounded us and started asking question out of curiosity.

The warmth in my heart turned to coldness, I felt so distant to them even though they were close, everyone understood the demanded from them, the bus driver who was a man in his forties started head patting the kids, and showed his three stars engraved in his knuckles.

"I'm going to beat those monsters for you" said the old man cheerfully, of course you can be cheerful at moments like these, everyone was just like him, everyone knew his goal by the time the children spoke, the ambassadors that received us at the beach looked deranged and their representatives were embarrassed as if their procedures to introduce us to their plan came to ruins, just in this moment I felt down, inferiority, helplessness…I looked at the end of the crowd that man was looking at me, worried. Don't look down on me, I don't need your pity, I don't need anyone's I also have-

Just in the same moment, I felt soft finger reaching to my hands, I looked at ruby she was smiling at me. Then she held my hand without saying anything, just like that all my worries were gone.
