Chapter 9: Stealing is a country's birth right

After getting the support from the prime minister, Indrajeet left the prime minister's office.

Now the next step is just to pass this plan from the parliament. As the Independence party controlled 361 seats out of 494, it will be easier to convince the MP's as, Indrajeet is not just any party member, he represents the future of the party because of the influence of Nehru surname.

Although it is easier to convince the party's MP's, as every democracy has it, they will take their due time to be convinced to show the public that they were working for their interest.

Even if he has to make some temporary political compromise with these people, in order to make way for the five year plan that was established solely under his leadership, he will make them for the time being.

Because he knew that once these plans come to fruition, then his prestige in the populace will increase to unprecedented levels. The country will be richer, resources mobilization speed will increase 10 times that of now.

Once these projects start, all the iron exported from the country will be used inside these projects, building canals, bridges, dams will need millions of tons of iron and steel.

These dams will be hydro-electric projects that will create electricity that will be used for industrial production and civilian use.

The 6 lane national highways will join the industrial cities inland with the coastal ports, which will increase the export of goods and services.

Ports likes Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai will be supported with the central government to make their facilities world class.

Mumbai will be focused on the Mumbai-Middle East-Africa trade, from where the most of the hydrocarbons are imported. It is necessary to build a robust navy to protect the security of this trade route.

Kolkata and Chennai will focused on the Near East and Far East trade. The Japanese have risen from the ashes again using the blood of Koreans.

Although it is hateful, but who told these guys have the technology that India needs right now.

You all will be thinking, isn't British and French technology better than the Japanese technology and the American's technology is better than the British and French.

We will ignore the Germans, who's technology and scientist were airlifted by the Americans in the so called 'paper clip project', and then they were forced to work for them on many of the American military technology that made the American's a military giant. And you people still think American's abolished slavery.

But all the bad things aside about the American's, there technology's is very developed but it has one tiny downside, and that is expensive.

And India doesn't need the sophisticated technology of the American's at the moment.

We have a literacy rate of 15% of the population, of the 488 million people only 73 million people who knows how to read and right.

So it is very difficult to upgrade to American technology at the start, and expect it to solve the problem of making the people rich and the country strong.

What we need is the labor intensive industries, so that the huge population can be included in the mainstream economy.

It will be easier for the government to establish polices to tackle the issues facing the country once most of its economy is in formal sector, although many of these industries will harm the environment on the scale never seen before in the history of the subcontinent. But we can accept it, because if you are poor then you can't develop, if the price of development is environment pollution, then the first think should be to develop because once you are rich then you can just throw money to solve all these problems.

Tariff barriers between states will be cancelled altogether, making India one unified market in which the state-owned companies and private enterprises will compete for market.

The huge unified market of 400 million people will help to create huge enterprises that can compete with international giants.

Under the Inter-River linking project, Ganga, Brahmaputra, Subarnarekha, Brahmani-Baitarani, Mahanadi, Godavari, Krishna, Pennar, Kaveri, these river that open into Bay of Bengal will be connected with a series of canals to their counterparts that open into Arabian sea, Tapi river, Narmada river, Mahi, Sabarmati, and Indus tributaries.

This will not only bring huge swaths of land under irrigation which will help the country to become self-sufficient in food, and in turn its national security. It will also help the peoples livelihood in the regions where draught is the norm, where people have to travel tens of kilometers just to access drinking water.

It will also develop the inland shipping industry, millions of new job will be created.

India has been the largest exporter of the finished cotton goods since ancient times. We are the once who discovered and developed cotton which was letter introduced by the British into Europe.

In this five year plan there was huge investment into the garment industry. From investment for the development of new cotton seeds that are draught resistance, pest resistance, to the development of next generation textile machines.

Investment into the railway system was second only to the inter-river linking project. From the development of indigenous railway engines to the increase of the mileage from 80,000 kilometer to 150,000 kilometers broad gauge.

All the rail lines will be upgraded to broad gauge, so that they can carry more cargo and passengers on a single line than the standard gauge.

In the defense sector, huge amounts of resources and manpower will be tilted to complete the production of most of the equipment used by the Indian army. Intelligence bureau will have to work with the DRDO to obtain these technologies from abroad. Many of the information was not mentioned in the plan because they will buy the technology if people are selling, they will steal it if necessary.

Because for the country, stealing other peoples technology is not shameful, German's stole British technology, American's stole all European technology, soviet's stole all capitalist technology, Japanese stole American technology what does this shows us, stealing is not wrong. Wrong is that your country is not strong.
