Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Camp Finale
Momo's POV.
*Hopefully, I'm not too late. I really don't wanna miss this.* Momo thought as she ran through the forest as fast as her injured legs could. She felt branches scratch her legs and arms as she ran through the bushes to get to where her haki was screaming at her. *Just a bit... more!*
"Confirm it now, release them." Was the first thing she heard as she watched the scene before her, behind a tree. Suddenly, Tokoyami and Bakugou appeared out of nowhere, one looking confused while the other was scared. Todoroki was face-planting the ground and Luffy was looking scared and angry at the same time.
*What's going on?* She thought to herself, her head was still reeling from her last battle, and now, she felt like she was dropped at the end of a movie.
"Checkmate." She heard the villain holding Bakugou by the neck, as he backed into the portal. Her haki spiked from Luffy's aura which made her head whip to him.
*Oh no.* She thought the instant she saw his face. She knew that face. It was a face that said 'I'm gonna do something rash and you can't stop me.' *Dammit Lu.* she thought as she got to work with her quirk.
"NOT AGAIN!" She heard Luffy yell out as she loaded a dart into her newly made dart gun. Not wasting any time, she set her sights straight on Luffy's neck and fired. "Gear Second!" Thankfully, the dart managed to hit him before he ran fist-first into the portal. She watched the purple portal disappear completely before revealing herself
"Is everyone alright?" Momo said after the portal disappeared, leaving only her, Todoroki, and Shoji. The boys seemed pretty out of it.
"Luffy." Shoji muttered in disbelief under his breath as he looked at where the portal once was with wide eyes. "Bakugou."
"What happened?!" Todoroki said, alarmed as he jumped from the ground. "Where's Luffy?! Where's Bakugou?!"
"Whoa, easy there." Momo said gently in an attempt to calm him down as the blue fire illuminated the forest. "Cal-"
"Momo?! What're you doing here?" Todoroki said as he glanced at her for 1 second before returning to frantically searching the area. "Where are they?!"
"Easy. You're still full of adrenaline, you're not thinking clearly." Momo said as she tried to stop the energetic boy. "Luffy and Ba-"
"Where are they?!" Todoroki interrupted her once again.
"That's what I'm Trying to Tell you!" Momo said annoyed.
"Huh?" He said confused, adrenaline finally wearing off.
"They're gone." Shoji said as he hopped to them. Leg injured by Kurogiri's attack.
"What do you mean they're gone?" Todoroki said wide-eyed. After not receiving an answer. "...Well?!"
"He means, wherever Kurogiri's portal leads to, then that's where they are." Momo said as she put her quirk to use again. "Ow, damn. I used my quirk way too much today."
"...He was right there." Todoroki said guiltily as he looked at his arm. "He was right in my hand, and I lost him, and because of that... I lost him and Luffy. I'm so sorry, Momo."
"Lu is a big boy, he can make his own decisions." Momo said as she got an Ipad looking piece of tech out of her arm. "And I can make mine."
"What's that?" Shoji asked as Uraraka and Tsu appeared out of the forest.
"This." Momo said as a blinking green dot appeared on the screen along with a street in the middle of a city. "This is my ticket to Luffy."
Luffy and Bakugou.
*Gotta be careful with my explosions. If I blast one of these assholes with one that's too big, I could blow up the whole floo-* Bakugou's inner monologue was stopped by Luffy's reckless fist.
"Gomu Gomu no Shotgun!" Luffy said as he threw his arm at Himiko and Twice, while throwing his arm, he bent it the same way you would bend a rubber band to make it seem like multiple fists at the same time. It also destroyed a part of the wall, revealing the nearby alleyway. (Luffy used this move once like in east blue, since he's got Gatling, I get why.)
The move managed to punch Twice straight in the face, not breaking his nose but coming pretty close. "Sonova- That hurt! It was nothing."
"The rubberbrain's got a good idea. Who the hell cares about the consequences?" Bakugou said as he dodged Magne's pillar and charged at Spinner "That shit's for the future, I live in the moment!" Bakugou shouted as blasted Spinner while also blowing up a chair and part of a nearby table.
Luffy proceeded to grab Spinner by the face and press him against the brick wall. With some giggling, he dragged Spinner across the wall, leaving a heavy burn mark on his scaly face. He then proceeded to throw Spinner at Twice, hitting Twice straight in the gut and knocking out Spinner.
"Yeah! Hahahaha!" Luffy said as he laughed at Bakugou's newfound resolve. This laughter didn't last long as he caught out of the corner of his eye Toga's blade which was going straight for his neck. "Missed me!"
"Tsk, stupid brat. I'll show you not to mess with me-" Toga's threat was interrupted by Shigaraki who put a hand before her, signaling her to stop. "Huh?"
"Don't you remember the meeting? I said don't kill these two. They're valuable assets." Shigaraki said as he watched Bakugou nearly dodge Mr. Compress's hand. Bakugou responded by punching him in the gut. "We wouldn't want to lose all the trouble we've gone through, now would we?"
"In case you didn't realize, we lost our main firepower!" Toga said as she pointed to a passed out Dabi behind the counter. "And we're losing!" She said as she looked at Luffy uppercut Mr. Compress with a smile on his face. "We're too short on people to capture them!"
"That's why you got me here. I can't do anything!" Twice said as he activated his quirk to make a Muscular clone.
"Get this shit outta here!" Bakugou said as he blasted the mud clone out of the way before it was even finished. From behind him Luffy showed up with his fist at the ready.
"Gomu Gomu no Pistol!" Luffy said as he punched Twice straight into the booze shelf, leaving him next to Dabi with a broken nose.
"Whoa there kids. We could continue this bloodbath, which helps none of our sides-"
"We're literally winning." Said Bakugou with a flat face.
"Or! Or we could have a civilized discussion." Shigaraki proposed to which both the students paused. "We don't need to fight, all this senseless fighting will amount to nothing in the end. Why don't we just sit down and ta-"
Shikaragi stopped talking when Luffy's fist hit his face. Making Shikaragi drop his face hand-mask.
"Civilized discussion? Senseless fighting? Don't make me laugh." Luffy said as Shikaragi was staring at his dropped mask. "It's because of you guys that were here. You went after us!"
"And now that you're losing, you want to talk? Pathetic." Bakugou said as Shigaraki was still staring at his mask. "You guys are just some sniveling, pathetic, cowards who can't do shit without the element of surprise. You're not even villains, just some guys pretending and hoping to be something, while denying that they're nothing."
"..."
"..."
"Tomura! Wait!" Kurogiri yelped suddenly when he saw Shigaraki finally start to move, not taking his eyes off his mask. "Don't do anything rush!"
"It's alright Kurogiri." Shikaragi said as he slowly put his mask back on. "They don't know what they're talking about so it's fine. Soon, they'll both be with us, on the same team."
"Sure, and All-Might will break bad." Bakugou said with a roll of his eyes. "Let's go Rubberbrain, these guys aren't worth our time."
"Oh, sure!" Luffy said as he followed Bakugou to the door. "Wait, where even are w- Ow!"
"Huh?" Bakugou turned to Luffy's yelping sound. He saw Toga sucking his blood out of his neck with a syringe device. "What the?"
"Sweet sweet blood! With this much, I'll even forgive you for what your buddy just said." Toga said as she continued to suck the blood out of a bewildered Luffy.
"I'm Not his Buddy!" Bakugou's shout woke Luffy up from his trance. He proceeded to extend his leg to sweep the entire floor, he missed everyone but managed to get Toga off of him.
"What the hell?! I didn't even sense you!" Luffy yelled at her but Toga looked completely transfixed with the blood she just got. "How?!"
"Oh my gosh! Look at all that blood!" Toga said with a hungry look. "That's gotta be at least a couple of hours!"
"Huh?" Bakugou and Luffy said at the same time.
"You know, now that I take another look at you." Toga said as she pointed a finger at Luffy with a blush. "You're not as bad looking as I thought. Kinda cute in a way."
"Eh?!" Before Bakugou and Luffy could question what she was talking about, they felt a force suddenly pull them towards Toga. "Ah!"
"Didn't forget about me now did ya dearies?" Magne said as she profited from the moment of confusion and used her pillar to push Luffy out of the way and curb stomp Bakugou.
"Dammit! Get... off!" Bakugou managed to say between his grunts of pain. "Shit."
"Damn you!" Luffy said as he got back up. "Give him back!"
"Now just hold still. Momma just needs a bit of blood!" Toga said with a crazed look in her eyes as she approached Bakugou with a knife in her hands.
"Psycho!" Bakugou muttered under his breath.
"Gomu Gomu no-" Everybody turned to Luffy as he began spinning his torso in place while the rest of his body stayed in place. Luffy jumped in the middle of the room.
"Fireworks!" Luffy said as he spun mid-air, sending out all sorts of kicks and punches while making sure to not hit Bakugou. Magne got a broken leg, Kurogiri face-planted the ground, Toga got knocked out with a missing tooth and Shigaraki got knocked out with a black eye despite his mask.
"Whoa! Didn't mean to go that hard." Luffy said as he looked at the mess he just made. He noticed Bakugou. "Boom boy! Are you okay?"
"Wow." Bakugou couldn't perform any other words as he watched Luffy hold out his hand. He couldn't help but admire Luffy's strength.
But then he remembered that it was Luffy. "Do I look like I need your shitty help?!" He said as he swatted Luffy's hand out of the way. "Anyway, let's get the hell outta here. I'm done with this rundown bar."
"Not so fast. You won't be going anywhere." Luffy and Bakugou heard a menacing voice come out of a newly made sludge-like portal. "Because I Am Here."
Out of the portal came a giant man, as tall as All-Might, in a suit with a heavy mask on his face that covered his entire head. He had a certain look and feel about him that just creamed evil.
"Wow! A guy came out of that black slime!" Luffy said as he looked at the villain with mild admiration. "Cool!"
"Impressive, not many people can stay unaffected by my fear quirk." He said before pointing at Bakugou. "You're friend can't."
"Huh? Boom boy?" Luffy said as he turned to Bakugou to see him completely terrified, unable to move and hyperventilating with a coat of sweat on his forehead. "Oi, Boom boy! What's wrong?!"
*Who the hell is this guy?! Why did I just see my own death?! It felt so real but it wasn't. I can't move, I'm trying to force my hand, but it just won't move. What the hell is happening?!* Bakugou thought rapidly as Luffy tried to shake him out of his trance. *Luffy's trying to tell me something, but I can't hear him. I just can't look away from... him.*
"Bakugou! Wake up! Now!" Luffy said as he shook him but nothing worked, after a good deal of trying and slapping, he turned to the main villain. "Oi! What the hell did you do?! Fix him!"
"Easy now, I just showed him his death and amplified his emotions. A little homemade quirk I made." He said before deactivating his quirk without any movement. "It should be fine now."
As soon as he said that, Bakugou fell to the ground on his knees, hyperventilating and clutching his head. Luffy was quickly at his side. "Oi! Are you okay?"
*Tsk, this bastard's just toying with me.* Bakugou thought with an irritated expression before glaring at the big villain in the face. Then he turned to Luffy. "You... Didn't you see anything?"
"Nope. Just a little tingle s'all I felt." Luffy said nonchalantly. "You?"
"Pretty impressive. The only other individual I have met that can say that, is All-Might." The villain said before turning to Shigaraki who was slowly breathing on the ground. "You found some good ones, they'll be a very good addition to your team."
"You're giving him orders?" Bakugou said as he got back up on his feet. He sent Shigaraki a quick glance before turning his glare back at the villain. "I knew it. He's just a sidekick. You're the real deal."
"Wow, really?" Luffy said, impressed by Bakugou's deduction. "I had no idea."
"Yes, I am the main villain, All for One." All for One said as he pointed at himself. "And you are Katsuki Bakugou and Monkey D. Luffy. I heard much about you, specifically." He said while pointing at Luffy.
"Me?" Luffy said confused
"Monkey D. Luffy, lives in the Yaoyorozu mansion and attends U.A High school with less than average grades. Also, didn't exist until a couple of months ago." All for One said while Bakugou was still glaring and Luffy was still confused. "Yes, from what I understand, you have been raised as an experiment, one that's meant to have multiple quirks and overall to be a weapon."
"What're you talking about?" Luffy asked, confused. Bakugou was thinking that Luffy didn't like having to relive these bad memories.
"But that's all a lie," All for One said, which surprised Bakugou. "Isn't it?"
"What the hell are you talking about, Darth Vader wannabe?!" Bakugou said, confused and angry.
"Nothing happens in the underworld without my say so, and if there was such a thing as a camp where kids are trained with multiple quirks, I definitely would've known about it. And there wasn't. Besides, you have a very peculiar weakness right?" All for One said as he activated Ragdoll's quirk. "Mhm, yes... So it's true, apparently my source is still to be trusted. Can't say I have ever heard of such a weakness on anybody besides fire type quirks. And not one this severe."
"Are you talking about me being extremely weak in water?" Luffy confirmed All for One's thoughts. "How do you know about that?"
"You Idiot! You just Told him! Ya didn't have to confirm it!" Bakugou said as he smacked Luffy over the side of the head.
"Sowwy." Luffy muttered as he rubbed the back of his head, not that it actually hurt.
*But the Rubberidiot has a point. How the hell did he know that?* Bakugou thought as he got his attention back on the main villain. *Maybe he told some extra? I can't imagine nobody, not even this idiot would reveal that kinda info.*
"I have also heard you have a certain weak spot for food." All for One said as he got a piece of meat from a puddle of sludge that appeared next to him. "Would you like it?"
"Wow! Cool! Thanks!" Luffy said as he jogged over to All for One without a care in the world and got his meat. "You know, you're not such a bad guy after all!"
*What am I talking about? He definitely would!* Bakugou thought with a sweat drop as Luffy stuffed his face with food given to him by the enemy.
"I would like to show you something. Come with me." All for One said as Luffy finished his piece of meat. "Promise it won't take long."
"Nah, I'm good." Luffy said as he rubbed his belly and walked to the exit door. "I'm kinda tired so I'm going home."
*Something tells me it won't be this easy.* Bakugou thought as Luffy went past him and approached the door.
"I'm afraid I can't let you do that." All for One said as black goo started to fill Luffy's and Bakugou's mouths. "Not after all the trouble Tomura went through."
"Agh! What the hell!" Bakugou tried to say as he tried to spit out the goo that kept coming out of his mouth and failing.
All for One proceeded to shoot black and red circuitry out of his finger and into Kurogiri's body. Then, a purple mist-like portal appeared in the middle of the room.
"Forcible quirk activation. It's rather painful but unfortunately, I can only teleport to and from people. Kurogiri's warp quirk is much more precise and fleshed out." All for One said as he went through the portal and disappeared. Soon, Luffy and Bakugou disappeared as well. Leaving behind only a broken and messy bar room, filled with grunting villains.
Back with Momo.
"Yo-You can't be serious!" Uraraka said rather loudly while walking behind Momo. "Please tell me you're not serious!"
"Do you see me joking?" Momo said as she dialed a number on her newly-made phone. Right now, Momo, Uraraka, Tsu, Todoroki, and Shoji were making their way back to camp. "Tsk, Why isn't he responding?" Momo said annoyed after getting sent to voicemail again.
"Wait, so let me get this straight." Tsu said as she followed after them. "You planted a tracker on Luffy and now, you want to tell All-Might to go and help him-."
"That part I understand." Uraraka said, but Tsu didn't stop.
"-And you want to go with him." Said Tsu.
"That part I dont!" Uraraka said very annoyed and a little bit scared. "I mean, this isn't going after him after he got lost at the mall! You want to go into the enemy's hideout, the lion's den, for no reason!"
"I have a reason. Lu's in danger and I can help. So I'm doing it." Momo said as she continued to dial All-Might. "It's as simple as that."
"No! You can't help! You're a student!" Uraraka said with a hand gesture.
"You wouldn't say the same thing if Luffy was in my place, would you?" Momo said as she glanced at her.
"Okay, first of all, Luffy isn't exactly someone you can reason with." Uraraka said, and Momo had to admit that she was right. "And second! Yes, I would! Even if that idiot would be here, I would still do everything in my power to stop him! And I'm doing the same thing now."
"Sigh." Momo sighed as she got ready to enter an argument. "Look, I know it's idiotic to do what I'm about to do. I'm exhausted from training all day and from fighting. I'm only a student and I don't even have my provisional license. In my state, I would probably only be more of a liability to the actual heroes and a weakness on the battlefield."
"So then why-"
"With all that being said, I'm still going to do it for one single reason." Momo said as she stopped walking and turned to face everybody. With a stern look on her face, she said. "Lu wouldn't think twice about going to save me. Even if he had to hop on one leg to save me, I know he would do it without thinking twice about it." This is what she told herself and her friends. But was that the only reason?
"..."
"..."
"...I'm also coming."
"Huh?! Todoroki?!" Uraraka said, flabbergasted as she turned to Todoroki along with everybody else.
"It's my fault they were captured in the first place. It's only right I go with you." Todoroki said to which Momo nodded and Uraraka felt like pulling her hair out.
"Why are the smartest kids in our class doing the dumbest shi-" Her rant was interrupted by Momo's phone.
"Hold on, he finally responded." Momo said as she put her phone to her ear and, with an ahem, she said. "Uhm, Hi, yes! Hello? Is this All-Might?"
"Good evening! No, All-Might is currently busy. This is his secretary, Yagi Toshinori." All-Might said as he got out of the bathroom. "How may I help?"
Then Momo remembered something.
"No, I knocked him out. Wait, get this, All-Night and All-Night's brother are the same person! Crazy right?! I was completely shocked." Luffy said as he began eating again, not realizing he had just revealed a top secret.
*Thank god for Lu and his big mouth!* Momo thought with closed eyes before turning her attention back to the phone. "All-Might! Great to have caught you! I need your help."
"...Umm... Young lady, I'm sure you heard me say that my name is Yagi Toshinori." All-Might said after getting frozen in place for a couple of seconds. "Not All-Might."
"Yes, All-Might. I am also doing well. Luffy told me a lot about you." Momo said before turning her back to her classmates, in a whisper she said. "If you know what I mean."
"Luffy... told..." All-Might said slowly before finally getting it. "Oh no."
"Ooooh yes." Momo said as she got back to walking towards the cabin. Her classmates followed after her. "Revealing yourself to Lu. Can't say that was the smartest thing you could've done."
"I-It wasn't me!" All-Might said loudly before stopping and checking his surroundings to make sure he wasn't heard. In more of a whisper he said. "He did it by himself! W-With the haki thing!"
"You could have denied it." Momo said nonchalantly.
"Oh no. Oh no. I'm done, my hero days are over! Wait, How many people know?" All-Might said as he felt his blood pressure rising. "Wait, what am I talking about?! it's probably already on the internet, isn't it? Crap!"
"It's alright, from what I know. Only me and Luffy know, and your secret is safe with us." Momo said, after a couple of seconds she rephrased it. "...I mean with me. It's safe with me, I can't guarantee Luffy."
"What are they talking about?" Tsu asked Shoji.
"Don't know, I can't hear them from here." Shoji said, after glancing at Tsu. "I'm not using my quirk to eavesdrop."
"I didn't say you should." Tsu said with a sweatdrop.
"Anyway, the reason I've called you is because... Our camp has been invaded by the League of Villains, and have taken Bakugou and Luffy hostage." Momo said after a quick deep breath. She didn't like delivering this much bad news to the hero, but it was better to do it fast and quickly.
"Impossible..." All-Might said as he felt the color leave his face. "How..."
"Multiple students and teachers were injured, but thanks to Recovery Girl, they should be fine." Momo said, and now getting to the main part.
"Ah... That's good." All-Might said slowly. He was having a very hard time processing this new information.
"I have managed to place a tracker on Luffy. We can use it to track Lu and take him back, along with Bakugou." Momo said as Uraraka and Tsu cringed when Momo said 'We'.
"Yea- I-I mean yes. Good on you young Yayorozu, I-Uhm... I just need a minute to process everything." All-Might said with a hand on his forehead. H"e definitely didn't expect to have been called into action so soon, much less his students get attacked MUCH less some of them getting kidnapped. "Wait, did you just say 'We'?"
With a deep breath, Momo continued. "Yes, I did."
"Oh boy, look... Actually, I'm coming there to get the Locator." All-Might said as he hurried to get his Hero suit. "You're definitely not coming with me."
"But sir-" Momo said. "...He hung up."
"He said no, didn't he?" Uraraka asked as the cabin came into view. After getting a nod from Momo. "I knew it."
"Don't worry, I'll just have to convince him to take me with him." Momo said with confidence. "I'm sure I'll be able to."
"Me too." Todoroki said shortly after her. Uraraka and Tsu just sighed.
Luffy and Bakugou.
"Alright you bastard. I really enjoyed the tour but if that's all, I'm leaving." Bakugou said after they concluded the tour. The thing that terrified him the most was definitely the Nomus. One was bad enough, and from what he understood, the rest weren't as high-end as that one, but still. One Nomu is already one too many. The rest of his hideout was pretty much how he expected it, classical villain hideout stuff. Now, he had to get out of here at all costs while avoiding combat at all costs. He couldn't risk dying and letting all the new information go to waste. "This whole day's been shit, I just wanna go home."
"Yeah! I'm tired of this dark and gloomy place!" Luffy said as he pumped his fists into the air. He didn't really care about the new stuff he learned. "I'm hungry!"
"I understand how you feel, but you must also understand that you're never going back." All for One said, which the students didn't like that at all. Bakugou already guessed it. "Before you say anything, I just have some questions. Why wouldn't you want to be by my side? Just because you aspire to be heroes?"
"Eh? Who said I wanted to be a hero?" Said Luffy confused. "I don't think I said I wanted to be a hero."
"...What are you talking about, idiot?" Bakugou said he really didn't like the fact that this idiot was stronger than him. "In case you forgot, you go to a HERO SCHOOL."
"Doesn't mean I wanna be one." Luffy said, which the other people present felt like they had to rewind somehow, to make sure that's what he actually said.
*That's exactly what it means.* Bakugou and All for One thought at the same time with bewildered expressions.
"That's perfect then! If you don't want to become a hero, become a villain instead." All for One decided to seize the opportunity. "With your strength, you'll be able to do anything you want and nobody will be able to stand in your way."
"Nah, don't wanna do that either." Luffy said with his arms crossed and closed eyes. "Momo wants to be a hero, and if I become a villain, that means I gotta fight her. Don't wanna do that."
"..."
"...Then What The Hell Do You Want?!" Bakugou said angrily. Due to Luffy's stupidity, he forgot where he was and with who he was.
"I just... want to go back... to my old pirate life." Luffy said with an unusual sad expression on his face. "I miss my crew."
*He's saying go back to my old pirate life, but pirates are obsolete. If you're not a civilian and you're on the bad side of the law, then you're a villain. Not a pirate. There haven't been any pirates since the quirk laws have been put in place. This individual gets more and more interesting.* All for One thought before saying. "I can help you find a way back. I can help you go back, to... wherever you want to. You just have to join me."
*Crap, he's right! I can't imagine there being someone with more resources than this guy to help the rubberidiot.* Bakugou thought with a newfound coat of sweat on his forehead. *But there's no way he'll accept... Right?*
"Thanks for the offer and all, but I already got the little bear helping me out. So I'm good." Luffy said as he dug through his nose.
"Nezu? That simpleton can't compare with my intellect. I'll surely be more helpful than him." All for One lied. In truth, he only really wanted Luffy for his mysterious presence and strength, he would've helped him, after he got control over the world.
"Ugh, How many times do I gotta say this?" Luffy said with an annoyed sigh. Bakugou found a new level of respect for Luffy because of this. "No!"
"I see, well if you've made up your mind, then I guess there's no changing it." All for One said before turning to Bakugou. "And yo-"
"Fuck no." Bakugou said immediately. He didn't have to ponder over it, since he already made up his mind the moment he saw All-Might on TV for the first time.
"Even-" All for One tried again.
"Yes." Bakugou denied him again.
"Well then, If you're not going to join me." All for One said as he lifted his arm towards Bakugou. "Then I guess I'll have to kill you."
Thanks to Luffy's Future-Sight, he already saw that attack coming and shaved Bakugou out of the blast's range. The blast left a hole in the nearby wall, scaring a couple of civilians and making them run away while dialing the police.
"Hey man! What the hell?!" Luffy said, he didn't expect the villain to attack him. He just figured he'd let him and Bakugou go home. He also didn't expect this amount of bloodlust from him. "You could've really hurt Boom Boy!"
"Such a shame, to lose a fighter that can get his guard up within the blink of an eye, and also one that moves so fast. This all could've been avoided if you would've just joined me." All for One said as he began floating mid-air. As he prepared to deliver a wind blast he said. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to settle with breaking All-Might's pride."
Luffy managed to dodge it again with Bakugou in his arms. "Dammit, he's really going in for the kill."
"This guy, he's nothing like the other losers we fought until now. He's on All-Might's level. I-I don't think we can take him head-on. Not without seriously messing up the place." Said Bakugou low enough for Luffy to hear. All for One meanwhile was preparing his circuitry quirk. "I think our best bet is to escape, but I can't see how-"
"Escape? Are you serious?" Luffy said as he got back up and punched his open palm. "He's the reason all of our friends are hurt and he tried to kill you, and now you want to run?"
"Obviously not, but.."
"Look, you can run if you want, I won't stop you." Luffy said as his face turned into a smile. "Me? I'll have to kick his ass as payback."
And with that Luffy dodged the incoming circuitry and with a deep breath. "Gomu Gomu no Gatling!"
Luffy's attacks did less damage then he wanted to and they also hurt more than All for One liked to admit. All for One being forced to block Luffy's barrage of punches, he didn't sense or see Bakugou sneaking up on him. And with that, Bakugou managed to deliver a huge blast on the big villain.
"Tsk. If you think I'll let you take all the credit for beating this bastard, then you're an actual idiot!" Bakugou shouted over to Luffy, to which he found himself smiling at Bakugou's newfound resolution to fight.
"I see. Let's go!" Luffy said as he ran into second gear. "Gear Second!"
"Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka!" All for One was not ready for Luffy's new speed, he also wasn't prepared for his new strength. He really didn't like the fact that he felt the need to caress the spot where Luffy hit him. Bakugou jumped out of the way for Luffy to attack.
"Again!" Luffy yelled out as he threw his arms way back. "Gomu Gomu no-"
"Warp + Shock Inversion." All for One said as he teleported Bakugou straight in front of Luffy's attack. Fully prepared for Bakugou to be punched, he grinned. That grin instantly went away when he noticed that Luffy stopped his attack. "What the-"
"You Idiot!" Bakgou mocked him as he delivered the greatest blast he could manage at point-blank range. Bakugou clutched his forearms from the pain he got from the blast.
*How?! Wha-How?! He shouldn't have known, he couldn't have...* All for One mused as his body throbbed from the pain. *Unless, a quirk... don't tell me.*
"You can see the future, can't you?" All for One said, fingers trembling with excitement.
"Yeah." "No." Luffy and Bakugou said at the same time before looking at each other.
"Don't tell him that, you idiot!" Bakugou yelled at Luffy. Luffy looked at him confused before realizing what he meant.
"Oh-Oh crap! No, I don't have it! I totally can't see the future!" Luffy lied very unconvincingly. "I was just joking earlier."
"Have it... I must have it!" All for One said with a hint of craziness in his voice. He started flying towards Luffy "Give it to me!"
"You want it? Come and get it." Luffy said as he jumped towards All for One, with his hand lagging behind. "Gomu Gomu no-"
As their clash neared, Bakugou quickly calculated where they should meet and flew at top speeds toward that place.
"Spring Like Limbs, Kinetic Booster X4, Strength Enhancer X3, Multiplier." All for One said as his arm grew to unnatural sizes. He punched.
"Red Roc!" Luffy yelled out as a ball of fire engulfed his haki-covered giant fist, he also threw in a bit of Ryou in there for good measure. He punched All For One's hand.
"Howitzer Impact!" Bakugou said as he spun in the shape of a missile in mid-air and with all the strength that he had. He threw his blast out.
The blast that their combined attacks were enough to destroy All for One's hideout, revealing themselves to the world once again, only this time, on a much much larger scale. The roof was gone along with some nearby blocks. The blast sent everybody flying in different directions, leaving them in the rubble. It sent all the Nomus in the tanks away. It also created a deep crater at the center of the explosion. It was really an eye-catching explosion. Something that All-Might didn't know if he should've been grateful or worried about.
"Young Yaoyorozu, Young Todoroki. I agreed to let you lend me some aid, but that does not mean you have any right to fight." All-Might asked with a stern look as he prepared to attack All for One. "Is that Understood?"
"Yes sir!" They both said at the same time as they hid in an alleyway. They were both here, they were both ready, but Momo couldn't bring herself to stop the worry etched on her face.
"Good then." All-Might said as his face turned to a much kinder one after seeing Momo's face. "Do not worry Young Yaoyorozu, I'll bring Young Luffy home even if I have to give my life. That's a promise." And without any other words, he left, leaving behind only a reassured Momo and a confident Todoroki.
Flashback.
Momo was pacing quickly back and forth, in front of the cabin, in an attempt to calm her nerves. She was currently bandaged up, courtesy of Recovery Girl. At first, Recovery Girl told Momo to stay for further treatment, but Momo managed to sneak away from her and the rest of her class. It had been about 5 minutes since her call with All-Might ended so he should be here any minute.
"You need to save up your energy, if you walk around like that you'll be wasting the already low amount that you have left." Todoroki said as he tried to stop his leg from shaking up and down. He was there with Momo, sitting instead of walking. Unlike Momo, he was caught by Kirishima on his way out of the cabin, but he managed to dodge his questions.
"...You're right, I just can't help myself." Momo said as she stopped walking. "What's taking him so lo-."
"I am Here!" All-Might said as he landed in front of Momo, scaring her half to death. "For the locator.."
The second she heard that she forgot about the scare and prepared for an argument. "Sir! Let me-us! Let us come too."
"That's right, we want to help." Todoroki said as he got up from his seat and walked over to them. "It's my fault Bakugou's not here with us right now. The least I can do is to go and help him."
"...Kids, listen. I understand where you're coming from, I really do. I feel just as frustrated as you right now for my inability to prevent this attack-"
"But it's not your fault!" Momo said in a louder voice than she meant to. "You couldn't have known that the villains would attack."
"Exactly. But by that logic, it's not your fault either, nor yours Young Todoroki." All-Might said as he looked from Momo to Todoroki. "It's not my fault, the only people who are at fault here are the villains. And who fights the villains?"
"..."
"..."
"...The heroes?" Todoroki said, thinking that All-Might was actually waiting for an answer.
"Yes, the heroes, exactly! And that's something you kids aren't. At least not yet. I'm sorry, I know you truly want to help, but I just can't endanger children by putting them in the middle of a battle." All-Might said before extending his hand. "The locator please."
Momo thought about it for a second, she looked at his hand and at the tracker locator from her hand. She wondered if it was really worth it, if maybe it was just better to leave it to the pros. *Maybe I'm just being selfish.* Momo thought as she slowly handed the locator to All-Might. She looked at All-Might one last time, his big ever-present smile with his extended hand.
It reminded her of Luffy. So she stopped mid-way of handing it over.
"Huh? What happened?" All-Might said confused, it looked like he managed to convince Momo. "I thought you were going to hand it over."
"I changed my mind." Momo said stubbornly.
"Eh?! What do you mean you changed your mind?!" All-Might asked, annoyed. "Why?!"
"Don't want to anymore." Momo said while putting her hands in a cross and looking away with her eyes closed.
"I think Luffy's been rubbing off on you harder than you might think." Todoroki said with a straight face as he looked at Momo imitating Luffy's 'I don't want to do it.' pose almost perfectly.
"Why do teenagers have to be so damn frustrating." All-Might muttered with annoyance as he felt like pulling his hair out. Soon the group fell into silence with each student lost in their own thoughts. All-Might was rubbing his forehead stressfully, Todoroki was thinking just how much Momo was adopting Luffy's personality when every other person would think it to be the other way around, and Momo was thinking of ways to convince All-Might.
"We don't have time to waste arguing here." Momo said, breaking the silence. "The more we stay here and argue, the more danger Lu's gonna be in."
"...And Bakugou." Todoroki reminded her.
"Yeah, I said Bakugou. Didn't I?" Momo said, Todoroki shook his head in denial. "Well, he too."
"Exactly, we don't have time to waste! So give it here!" All-Might said.
"Take us with you." Momo said again, Todoroki felt like they were going in circles. "We don't even have to fight, we only have to take Lu and Bakugou out of there without being noticed."
With a deep sigh, All-Might said. "Okay, I'm going to entertain this thought even though I very clearly shouldn't. What are you going to do if you get noticed."
"We can fight, we are more than capable of defending ourselves. We've done it before against a pro such as Mr. Aizawa and we won." Momo said. "I doubt there are many villains that can surpass Mr. Aizawa in close-quarters combat like we did. Besides, you'll be there if something goes horribly wrong."
All-Might didn't like the fact that she had a point. "Then why shouldn't I go in there and get Aizawa to come with me? He specializes in covert missions, and this would be right up his alley."
"Because as much as Mr. Aizawa would be able to help, he wouldn't know how to make Luffy leave. Do you think Mr. Aizawa would be able to convince Luffy to stop fighting and come with us?" Momo said, Todoroki found himself finding the back and forth very entertaining. "I don't think so."
"You make a good point. But you've missed one crucial detail." All-Might said, not feeling too proud of himself for having to use a trump card in an argument with a high school girl. "It's very much illegal to use your quirk in public. You're okay with breaking the law for this?"
"...You make a good point." Momo said in a voice of defeat. "Yes."
"Yes... what?" Todoroki asked.
"I am more than prepared to break the law to save someone I care for." Momo said with steel in her voice. *Wow, I never thought I would feel this way about anybody.*
"I admire your dedication and commitment towards your friend, Young Yaoyorozu." All-Might said genuinely. "Unfortunately, as a hero and more importantly, as your teacher, I can't allow you to break the law."
"Look, we can argue about this all night long, but the truth is that we're wasting time sitting here and arguing." Momo said as she turned her stare to All-Might's blue eyes. "And unless you break my arm and fingers, I won't be giving you this locator."
"You do realize that you're blackmailing me right? A very real crime, something that can damage not only you but also your family and its reputation?" All-Might retorted back. He wasn't actually going to turn in a student, obviously. He just wanted to know if his bluff is going to work out.
"This is for my family." Momo said not wavering in her stare. Was she calling on his bluff or was this how she actually felt? I'll let you decide that.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...How am I going to take you two there?" All-Might said as his shoulders sunk in defeat. He lost a battle of wits to a high school girl.
"You can piggyback us, I've done it with Lu more times than I care to count." Momo said as she handed her locator. All-Might took it and looked at it.
"You've pulled a dirty trick Young Yaoyorozu. Don't think you won't be reprimanded for this after we're done." All-Might said with a harsh tone. "You too Young Todoroki."
"We've already made our minds up, nothing can change that now." Momo said as she set her sights on saving Luffy... And Bakugou of course.
"There's actually a hidden benefit for taking us." Todoroki said which caught All-Might's attention. "If we manage to rescue Luffy and Bakugou before the media finds out, we can chalk it up to just a failed villain kid instead of a successful one. That's a good thing in my opinion."
"Exactly!" Momo said in a happy tone. "I didn't think about that. We just need to make sure the media never hears about this."
"That's true, but you're missing one very important detail." All-Might said as he prepared himself for a high-speed piggyback ride. "Who the villain is."
End Flashback.
"Hmm... There goes our benefit." Todoroki said as he looked at the villain's hideout being exposed to the rest of the world. "Is that the mastermind behind the League of villains?" He said as they looked at All for One pulling himself out of the rubble and starting levitating with nothing more than bloody knuckles and some tears on his suit.
"Doesn't matter if he is. Our goal is to get Lu out of there with as little combat as possible." Momo said as she conjured some night vision goggles out of her arm. She started to scan her environment to make the best possible plan of rescue.
"...And Bakugou." Todoroki reminded her again. Momo activated her quirk again.
"Y-Yeah, I meant him too." Momo said as she pulled out a photo of the place like she was some sort of printer. The photo was an aerial shot like someone used a drone to take it. "Anyway, here's my plan..."
Back With Luffy and Co.
"What a surprise." All for One said as he blocked All-Might's flying punch. "It's been a while, All-Might."
"I'll have you return my students, All for One!" All-Might said as he struggled to get the upper hand in the clash. The clash didn't last long as both of them got launched in opposite directions. The clash of power caused the remaining debris to scatter outside of the hideout. Leaving behind an empty battlefield filled with powerhouses.
"I must say, I didn't expect someone of your smarts to find out my location so soon. Or did you acquire some help." All for One said before turning his attention to where Momo and Todoroki were hiding. "Don't think I don't know you're there!"
*Dammit, he already figured out I'm not alone?! Or is it just a bluff. If it's not, then his quirks are definitely different than before.* All-Might thought as he grits his teeth in frustration. "We already know where this is going. I fought you once, you lost. I just have to do it again."
"Oh? You sound pretty confident. But my research suggests otherwise. After tracking your new rescues, I have deducted something." All for One said as Bakugou and Luffy struggled to get out of the rubble. "You've gotten weaker, All-Might."
"You're one to talk, It's kind of difficult to ignore that fancy life support mask you've got on." All-Might said as he got back up. "Aren't you over-exerting yourself?"
*All-Might?! He's here? And this guy held him back with his bare hands! I don't like this.* Bakugou thought as he got out of the rubble. *Where the hell's the rubberbrain?*
"I won't repeat the mistake I made 5 years ago, you hear me? I will take my students back, and I'll make certain you're locked up for the rest of your sad, pathetic life." All-Might said as he tensed his muscles and jumped for another attack. "Right along with your despicable league of villains!"
"Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you." All for One said as he shot a giant air blast out of his arm straight at All-Might. "This will be hard for us both!"
The blast shot All-Might into several buildings, breaking the ones that were still unaffected. Thankfully, he didn't hurt anyone with his flying body due to a sudden evacuation notice.
"Tsk, Where's this idiot?" Bakugou said as he looked through the rubble for Luffy. He noticed a bit of rubble suddenly move. As he went to check it out for Luffy, he felt intense pressure behind him. He turned to see All for One there. "Oh? You want some more?! I can do this all damn day!"
"I'm sure you can, unfortunately, I don't have that kind of time." All For One said as he prepared a quick air blast straight to Bakugou's stomach, aiming to make a hole in it.
"Gomu Gomu no-" Luffy said as he jumped out of the rubble faster than the eye could process. "Elephant gun!"
All for One managed to dodge Luffy's giant fist, however, he didn't manage to dodge All-Might's attack. He had to settle with just barely blocking it.
"Three on one? That doesn't seem very fair." All for one said as he hovered over the No.1 pro-hero and 2 students. "What will you do to even the odds?"
"You think you're funny?" All-Might said as he got in front of the students. In more of a whisper he said. "Listen, do your best to get out of this fight. I'll hold him off as much as possible. Just get out of here."
"What?! You're joking, All-Might!" Bakugou said in protest.
"Yeah! I'm not leaving you here to fight this jerk al-" Luffy said before getting interrupted.
"It's rather rude to have a private conversation in front of someone. The least you could do is clue me in on things." All for One said as he unleashed the biggest Air Blast he could manage.
All-Might, being the hero and the one in front, blocked the attack. He managed to shield the students, but he couldn't do much about the buildings behind him. A crater formed in the place where he blocked the attack. He coughed up blood as he felt the power drain from his body.
"Whoa! Awesome!" Luffy said as he looked at the hole that was formed in the ground. "That was so cool All-Night!"
*Tsk, no time to waste.* All-Might thought as he grabbed both students by the collar of their shirts and threw them with the strength he had left. He watched as the students soared through the sky. *Now it's your turn Young Yaoyorozu.*
"Always the hero, huh All-Might?" All for One said as he watched All-Might jump at him ful force. "I hope you do know that once I'm done with you, I'll go after them. I have seen something very powerful that I just have to get my hands on."
His words only managed to fuel All-Might's anger. "Detroit Smash!" Because of their clash, they didn't notice the giant ice glacier that had formed in the distance.
"Gomu Gomu no Balloon!" Luffy said as he transformed into a balloon, grabbed Bakugou, and bounced off the glacier, bringing him closer to the actual battlefield. They bounced a few more times before they finally landed.
"What the hell was that?!" Bakugou said in frustration as he looked at All-Might and All for One fighting. "All-Might..."
"I don't know... wait. Actually, I do know!" Luffy said as he did a 180 and looked at Momo running at him with Todoroki behind her. "OI Momo! Ice boy!"
"Hi Lu!" Momo said as she slowed to a walk until she stopped in front of him.
"Momo! I'm hungry!" Luffy said with his tongue sticking out. "Don't you have some food on you."
"Ugh, How did I know you were going to say that?" Momo said as she pulled a piece of meat, seemingly out of nowhere. "Ta-da!"
"Whoa! Thanks, Momo!" Luffy said as he snatched the piece of meat out of Momo's hand and started eating it without second thoughts.
"Where did you get that?" Todoroki asked with a raised eyebrow. *More importantly, where was she keeping it?*
"Oh, I just managed to snag one out before exiting the cabin." Momo said with a happy expression on her face.
"Wait, how did you guys find us?" Luffy asked with a mouthful. They didn't pay much attention to the hovering news helicopter that appeared above them.
"How many times have I told you to swallow before you talk?" Momo scolded lightly. "I shot a dart that contained fluids with micro- I put a thing on you that lets me know where you are."
"Whoa! Awesome!" Luffy said before swallowing, they didn't pay much attention to the various large-scale clashes of power behind them, that sent debris flying everywhere.. "You're so smart, Momo."
"I would say, all things concerned. That was the easy part. I can't imagine being with a villain of his caliber being easy." Todoroki said while Bakugou was just staring dumbfounded at everyone talking. "Getting permission from All-Might to come here was probably har-"
"It was nothing!" Momo quickly intervened. She shot Todoroki a look that said 'Stop talking.' "I was actually surprised with how lenient he was when giving permission."
"No way." Bakugou finally stepped in. "If I know All-Might, I know he wouldn't let some heroes-in-training come with him."
"..." Todoroki opted to say nothing.
"You would've been surprised." Momo said before deciding to quickly change the subject. "Anyway, It's time to leave. We came here to rescue you after all."
"What?! No way!" Luffy said in protest. "I can't just leave him to fight that guy by himself. I gotta clobber him a few times."
"I can't believe I'm saying it, but I agree with the rubberfreak." Bakugou said as he crossed his arms. "This is our fight."
"I can't let you do that. If you're with All-Might, then you'd only be hindering him. He can't fight at full force, if he has to think about saving you." Momo said sternly. Bakugou didn't like that he found himself agreeing with her. "And you Lu. It's been a long day. Don't you just want to go home and relax?"
"But-"
"But nothing. All-might has it all handled." Momo said, shutting Luffy up. They didn't realize that the clashes of power stopped. "...I'll get you some of that meat you like."
"Oh! The one that your dad says that 'it's too expensive to waste it on him.' That Meat?" Luffy said, already salivating.
"The one and only." Momo said as she started walking away, they were hearing rather loud explosions and clashes of power. "Let's go home, Lu."
"Humpf. Fine, let's go." Luffy said as he started going after her. Unfortunately, they didn't make it very far as they heard a menacing voice behind them.
"Oh, I don't think we're done yet. I still have plans for you, Monkey D. Luffy." All for One said as he sent dozens upon dozens of black and red circuitry after him. Luffy, being taken by surprise, didn't have time to dodge the circuitry so he had to block them, but he didn't block all of them and a few pierced his torso. Luffy grunted at the sharp pain he felt. He suddenly felt like being pulled and thrown back into the battlefield.
"LUFFY!" Momo shouted as he watched Luffy being thrown into a mountain of rubble. The rest of the students didn't even notice the fact that All for One's mask was partially destroyed, revealing he had nothing but scarred skin on his face. No eyes, No eyebrows, No Nose. Nothing besides a mouth, which was covered by a breathing apparatus. Momo was the first one to hurry after him, Todoroki and Bakugou following shortly after.
News Helicopter.
"The scene below is straight out of a nightmare! Half of Camino ward was demolished in a very quick instance. All-Might seems to have taken a heavy hit against the villain, who appears to have caused the blast. I don't believe it, how's one person so powerful?! He destroyed the city and is overpowering the symbol of peace!" A young adult man said from inside the helicopter as he watched in horror. "And... Is that? A teenager?! What is he still doing here?!" (When I say News helicopter, I basically mean everyone around the world who is watching TV.)
"N-no way! Rep?!" Kirishima said bewildered that Luffy is with the guy fighting All-Might. Right now, most of the students and teachers were in the cabin's common area watching the TV. They were waiting for the ambulance to come when suddenly a student saw the news of All-Might fighting All for One. "What the hell is he doing there?! I thought he was kidnapped by the League of Villains?!"
"Who cares?! Look at All-Might!" Mineta said scared. "He looks like the guy that's been hanging around our school! The one that says he's All-Might's secretary or something."
"Oh yeah! I know what you mean." Mina said as she couldn't take her eyes off the screen. "Wait... They're the same people!"
"Oh my Gosh, You're right, they totally are!" Hakagure said as she shivered in fear.
Aizawa and the rest of the teachers there could only grit their teeth in frustration. Where the hell did this guy come from, was this planned by the league? Or is it all just a big coincidence? That's what most of them were thinking. Due to the shocking news, they didn't notice that Momo or Todoroki had left yet.
Uraraka, who was of course concerned about All-Might and Luffy, also looked around to see if she could spot Momo or Todoroki anywhere. As did Tsu, Shoji, and Tokoyami. Aoyama was doing his best to not look guilty while chanting the words *My fault.* in his head over and over again.
Gran Torino used his quirk to fly across the sky, he caught glimpses of the News on the big Tv that hung on the side of the building.
*Dammit Toshinori, why couldn't you have just waited for reinforcements?!* Gran Torino thought as he approached Camino ward.
Earlier he got a sudden call from All-Might saying that he'll be going after the League of Villains, he also said to send backup. Gran Torino definitely didn't think that the fight would reach proportions this big, he also didn't think that All-Might would be losing, and he also also didn't think that the mastermind behind the League of Villains was none other than All for One himself. *Just hang on a bit longer. Please.*
The reaction from the public varied towards this fight, from support to All-Might to disappointment in the fact that he is losing. Some were afraid of what would happen if All-Might actually lost and some were happy that they didn't have to go to work tomorrow.
Back at the main fight.
"Luffy! Get off of me!" Momo said in frustration at the fact that she was pinned down by Todoroki. *Shit! Can't make anything right now, Must've used my quirk too much! So stupid!*
"You know I can't let you do that! You said it yourself, we can't fight. You even promised! These guys are completely out of our league." Todoroki said as he forced her on the ground. "Please don't make me freeze you into a block of ice."
"Icy-hot's right, Ponytail. If All-Might's losing, what chance do you think you have?" Bakugou's words stung Momo. She hated this feeling, the feeling of being weak and powerless. That's why she was training day in and day out, but apparently, that wasn't good enough. She wasn't good enough.
"Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit!" Momo yelled as she punched the ground in frustration. She didn't even notice the fact that Todoroki got off of her or the fact that there were tears streaming down her face. "I hate it! I hate that I can't do anything! Dammit!"
"..."
"It's not your fault. The only thing we can do now is hope that everything will turn out fine." Todoroki said as they moved to hide behind some rubble. Now, back with All for One.
"Oh? What's wrong All-Might? You didn't even notice that I brought your precious student here." All for One said mockingly as he watched All-Might's skeletal body start to ventilate. "Oh wow, I can't say I have ever seen you without a smile before. How odd." All for One said as he forced a smile on his own face before laughing evilly. The fact that Shikaragi was actually the grandson of Nana Shimura, All-Might's master, definitely left some damage to his psyche. Images of Nana flooded All-Might's mind as he could barely process the words he said. He was barely paying any attention to his surroundings, much less All for One.
"Now watch me All-Might, along with the rest of the world, at how I steal this young boy's magnificent quirk and torture him for the whole world to see." All for One said as he continued to mock All-Might. "Maybe next time, you'll take better care of your master's family. Oh wait, there won't be a next tim-"
Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da!
"KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" A sudden uncontrollable laughter filled the silence and interrupted All for One mockery. All for One would raise an eyebrow at what's happening if he had an eyebrow. Even All-Might broke out of his stupefied state at the laughter. "GYAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!"
"Who the hell is laughing at a time like this?!" Gran Torino said as he joined the big battle. He stopped near the source of the laughter. He looked at his feet and noticed a certain straw hat. "What's this?" He said as he grabbed it. He almost fell down when out of the rubble came out someone he didn't quite recognize.
Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da!
"Gear FIFTH!" Luffy yelled out between his fits of laughter as he walked in the air. Luffy had a complete overhaul, his hair was now a flaming white, red eyes, white clothes, and a ring of smoke danced around his torso. He laughed as if someone told him the funniest joke there is or there ever will be. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! The weird heartbeat is back! This is Awesome! AHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Who the he- Don't tell me... Monkey D. Luffy?" All for One said as he watched Luffy laugh uncontrollably in the sky. "What's this now?"
"Young... Luffy?" All-Might said as he struggled to stand. What happened to him? Is this another quirk? One that changes his appearance and makes him fly, among other things? Where are these drums coming from?
Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da!
"Oh yeah, I forgot, we're fighting!" Luffy suddenly said as he ran across the sky, leaving behind him a trail of fire in the sky, Loony Tunes style. "I was just having such a blast that I forgot! Isn't that funny? HAHAHAHAHA!"
Luffy stopped a good distance away from All for One. As he grabbed the ground in front of him, he inflated his muscles to give him more strength. With one strong tug, he ripped the ground, making it rubbery, and pulled on it in the same way you would pull on a rug.
"Huh? Huh? What?!" Was pretty much what everyone was thinking. All for One was caught completely off guard and got the rug pulled from underneath his feet, literally.
Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da!
Luffy then proceeded to use that concrete-rubber rug to wrap All for One up, burrito style. He then used the newly made burrito to hit the ground repeatedly, with All for One in the rug. All this while he was laughing his ass off. "GYAHAHAHAAHHAAAHA!"
"What the-" All-Might said, flabbergasted.
"-Hell are my eyes seeing-" Gran Torino said bewildered.
"-Right now?" Bakugou finished with a gaping mouth. "Ponytail, since when can the rubberbrain do th-thi-this shit?!"
"This is the first I'm seeing it." Momo said in a disbelieving voice. "Luffy, just who are you?"
*He's treating the main boss villain like a cartoon.* Todoroki thought as he watched Luffy continue to pummel All for One with nothing but Laughter filling the silence.

News Helicopter.
"Ladies and Gentleman, a new hero seems to have joined the scene and is currently beating the villain with little to no effort. Could this be the turning point for the hero's side?" The News reporter said before turning off his microphone and turning to the cameraman. "Zoom in! Zoom in! I want to get a shot of his face. I can tell this is going to be big news."
"You guys are seeing what I'm seeing right? Like I'm not hallucinating or anything, right?" Kaminari said as he watched the TV, like many others, in disbelief. "Some random hero is manhandling the villain like it's nobody's business!"
"Nope, you're definitely not seeing things." Jirou said absentmindedly. "He's definitely beating that villain up."
"Is this the first time this hero has shown up?" Ojiro asked.
"Hell of a way to make a debut, he's beating up the villain that even All-Might was struggling with! So Manly!" Kirishima said as he got pumped up. "Let's go random hero!"
"Yeah! Go!" Sero joined in. Kirishima's excitement overwhelmed the emotions of confusion. "Kick his ass!"
"I can't believe our luck, he's even managed to save the class representative along with All-Might!" Iida said. "Very admirable indeed."
"I kinda dig his laughter! It's very contagious!" Mina said excitedly. "And where's this drumbeat coming from?"
"Huh? Now that you say it, his laughter kinda reminds me of someone." Hakagure said while looking for the answer. "Agh! I can't think of it. It's on the tip of my tongue."
"Yeah! Go random hero guy! Save All-Might!" Mineta said as he joined in the cheer.
"That's a pretty weird way of fighting. It makes me feel like I'm watching cartoons as a kid again." Uraraka said as she couldn't help herself but root for this new hero.
"Well, I'm glad that the kids have forgotten their worries about All-Might, it does no good to burden themselves with thoughts of his hero career ending." Vlad said to Aizawa, Pixie-Bob, and Tiger. Recovery Girl was still taking care of Midoriya. "But I haven't seen anything about this mysterious hero."
"I can't even tell what his quirk is. He can fly, turn the ground malleable, and strengthen himself." Tiger said with a suspicious look. "Pretty strange."
"Who cares? He totally saved my kittens and All-Might!" Pixie-Bob said as she did a variety of strange poses. "He's a hero in my eyes!"
*Please don't tell me it's who I think it is, please, please don't tell me it's Luffy.* Aizawa thought with his usual cold expression. *Please just let it be some random rookie.*
*Seems like I made the right decision.* Nezu thought as he watched the news with a cup of tea in his paw. *It's good to have you here Luffy.*
Luffy and Co.

"Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?" Luffy said repeatedly as he used All for One's hand to punch All for One face. "Why are you-Whoa!"
"STOP! Don't think I'll allow this level of disrespect!" All for One shouted as he threw Luffy away. "You're nothing but a nuisance!"
"Blegh!" Luffy said as he stuck out his tongue and pulled on his lower eyelid. "What are you gonna do about it? Huh? Huh?"
Luffy then proceeded to punch, repeatedly and incredibly fast, the ground, but much to All for One's surprise, the punches didn't stop. "Gomu Gomu no Mole Gatling!"
All for One could only block so many punches that seemingly came out of the ground. These punches were powerful, fast and rubbery. Truly a scary combination. The Punches stopped after Luffy uppercuted All for One, mask and all.
All for One tsked as he extended his arm towards Luffy, who was dangling in the air without a care in the world. "Inverted Gravity!"
"Whoa!" Luffy said suddenly as he felt his body folding in on himself. This would hurt really bad, if it was anyone but Luffy. " Agh! Don't! please! Stop!"
*Got you now! It's a good thing I received this new quirk.* All for One thought with a manic grin on his face as he watched Luffy writhe in pain. "I suppose you regret rejecting my offer no-"
Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da! Doom Dut Da Da!
"HAHA Just kidding!" Luffy said as he used his hand to literally put himself back into the shape of a human, from the previous one All for One forced him in. Luffy then quickly filled himself with air, with a lot of air. Gomu Gomu no Air Blast!"
Luffy then proceeded to press on his sides and shoot out the air so fast that he imitated All for One's previous air blasts. This air blast managed to send All for One flying. As he was flying Luffy got a piece of rubble from the ground and molded it into a baseball bat. A concrete baseball bat.
With godly speeds, Luffy appeared right where All for One should've landed. Inflating his limbs and he swung his concrete baseball bat straight into All for One's gut. "Gomu Gomu no Home Run!" "HAHAHAHAHHAAHA!"
That swing sent All for One flying straight into the news helicopter. All for One was having a hard time clinging to his consciousness after that attack.
"Oh crap!" Luffy suddenly said when he saw the future where All for One would hit the helicopter. He didn't like that future. So he ran on the air, leaving behind a fire trail straight to the helicopter.

"Is it just me, or is that villain coming scarily close to us." The Cameraman said as he watched All for One fly straight at the helicopter. "Crap Turn! Turn! Pilot Turn!" It was too late for the pilot to turn.

Thankfully, right before All for One hit the helicopter, Luffy catched him. "Wow! That was a close one, you guys okay?"
"Uhm... Ye-Yea-Yeah, I mean yes. We're fine." The news anchor said as Luffy hovered in front of them. "Is-Uhmm, Is this your debut young hero?"
"Huh? Wait. Whoa! That's one of them camera thingies or whatchamacallit." Luffy said as his face adopted a very familiar face. He got closer to the camera. "Hey guys! What's up? I saved boom boy! So you don't have to worry about him. Isn't that awesome?! Shishishishishi."

"Shit." Aizawa said in a mix between disbelief and annoyance. That was the only thing that filled the now silent cabin room, besides Luffy's laughter on the tv that is.
"Well... Wow." Kaminari said as he looked at Luffy. "Yep, that's definitely Luffy, our class rep."
"I-I don't even know how to process this." Jirou said in disbelief. "Should I be happy that he saved Bakugou and... All-Might. Yeah, he saved All-Might."
"...Does that mean that he's a pro now?" Mineta asked.
"Definitely not." Aizawa said sternly. "He'll have to answer some serious questions when he gets back."
"..."
"...He's totally flying right now, isn't he?" Hakagure asked, also in disbelief.
"He's doing a lot more than flying, that's for sure." Mina said as they watched Luffy use All for One almost unconscious body to wave to the camera.
"Is this also a new quirk?" Shoji asked.
"I don't even know man." Kirishima said, sharing everybody's state of disbelief. "This could be haki for all we know."
"Aizawa, what the hell is up with your students?" Vlad asked as a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead. Unfortunately, Class 1-B's students were getting checked up now by Recovery Girl, so they weren't here to witness this moment in hero history.
"I wish I knew. I really do." Aizawa said very tired. "I feel like I learn something new with that kid every damn day."
"I think I found my mate." Pixie-Bob said as she quickly went from disbelief to happiness. "Meow, Meow, Meow! I can't believe it!"
"He's underage." Tiger reminded her.
"Not for long." Pixie-Bob said before blowing a whole bunch of kisses to the TV.
"Hey guys. What's up?" Almost everybody turned to see Midoriya enter the room. He took one look at the screen and said. "Wow, these drugs that Recovery Girl gave me are really something. I'm hallucinating Luffy flying on the screen, and he's dressed up in all white."
"Yeah deku, that's not... You're not hallucinating." Uraraka said to which Izuku opted to pass out, from Luffy's reveal or from the drugs kicking in. I don't know. "Deku!" She said as she quickly ran to him.
"Wow, I just realized! This is awesome!" Kirishima said which surprised the other students. "We have like an actual pro among us!"
"Not a pro." Aizawa quickly intervened but his voice was drowned out by students joining in his cheer.
"Hey, yeah you're right!" Kaminari said as he too joined in. "To be honest, If there was someone that could do something like this, then it would be Luffy. That guy's always coming up with crazy stuff."
"He's going to be a celebrity worldwide!" Mina said in excitement. "We're going to have an actual celebrity! How cool is that?!"
"Yes, I am rather glad that he managed to save Bakugou." Said Iida as he adjusted his glasses. "Along with All-Might."
"When Deku wakes up, he's going to have so many questions." Uraraka said as she moved Izuku over to the couch. "I already know."
"I think everyone's going to have a whole bunch of questions for him." Tsu said as she helped Uraraka. "He looks totally different."
"I'm still just thankful that Momo hasn't gotten into any trouble." Uraraka said.
"Yeah, same." Tsu responded.
With Momo's dad. He was currently staring at the screen in disbelief.
"Nezu, What the hell did you give me?" He said as he looked at Luffy on the screen. "I don't need this kind of headache."
The public's reaction to the mysterious new hero was much less varied than the reaction to All-Might. Going from 'Wow, Look at this guy taking that on the villain without a care in the world!' to 'No way, why would this random rookie suddenly beat the villain that even All-Might was struggling with.' Not surprisingly, he was pretty popular with the kids. They loved his crazy antics.
As Mt. Lady lounged on her couch with a TV in front of her, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. "What... The... Fuck..." she exclaimed, dropping her jaw to the floor. On her TV, a certain laughing pirate only added to her disbelief. She even had to rub her eyes to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.
Endeavor was pretty enraged and curious at the same time. Angry at the fact that a random hero stole his and All-Might's spotlight by butting in on All-Might's mission, angry at the fact that there was someone stronger than All-Might in Japan. And curious because he knew this wasn't some random rookie, his face actually looked eerily familiar, he just couldn't place his finger on it.
"It seems I was worried for nothing." A hero muttered as she watched the news channel. "He kind of reminds me of All-Might."
"Hey! You coming? Don't tell me you've forgotten we got patrol duty?" One of her sidekicks said which prompted her to close the TV and exit the room.
"I'm coming, my brothers!" She said as she ran out of the room.
Luffy.

"Anyway, I gotta get this guy back." Luffy said as he flew towards All-Might. "See ya!"
"Wait... Oh crap." The news anchor said as he watch Luffy ran off with the villain on his shoulder.
"What's the problem?" The cameraman asked.
"I forgot to get his name." He said before turning on his news microphone and getting back to reporting the news.
"Oi! All-Night!" Luffy yelled as he approached All-Might who was currently being tended to by Gran Torino. "Where should I put this guy?"
But before All-Might could react, his eyes widened when he saw the white color literally drain from his body and instead get replaced by old and wrinkly skin. "Ah! Young Luffy are you alright?!"
"Aw man, I forgot about this." Luffy said as his legs gave out and he was forced to sit. "This sucks."
"That's one hell of a side effect you've got there." Gran Torino said as he helped Luffy out. "By the way, I think this is yours." He said as he handed Luffy his Straw hat back.
"Oh! Thanks Old man!" Luffy said as he forced himself to put the straw hat on his head.
"Old man? Look who's talking." Gran Torino said as he gave out a low chuckle.
"Watch out!" Gran Torino whipped his head around to the sound of Momo's voice to see All for One standing above him with his arm ready to kill him.
"Detroit Smash!" All-Might quickly sprung into action and, with the last remaining embers of his power, he smashed All for One straight into the ground, leaving behind a huge crater. He had to use his quirk only on one arm, so it looked pretty strange.
"Toshinori!" Gran Torino said as he had to hop on the air to avoid getting blasted away by the shockwave. "What happened? Are you alright?"
"That's for my master, you monster." All-Might said as he deactivated his quirk from his hand. "I'll watch you rot in Tartarus."
As Gran Torino arrived, he went on to check on All for One. "He's unconscious, after that punch and the beating that kid gave him, he should be out for a while."
"...I couldn't even protect my students." All-Might lamented as he sat back down on the ground. "I couldn't even protect my master's grandson."
"That's not tru- Wait, what do you mean?" Gran Torino asked.
With a sigh, All-Might said. "I'll explain it to you later, I can't here." Gran Torino, sensing this was somewhat important enough to warrant a private talk, didn't argue. "Where's Young Luffy?"
"Luffy!" Momo said as she looked around for Luffy, she couldn't sense him even if she had enough energy to use haki. "Where are you?!
"Here!" Luffy said as he held out a hand, which Momo saw and she quickly ran at him.
"Lu! Lu, are you okay?" Momo asked as she pulled him out of the rubble. "Wh-What happened to you?"
"Ah this? Don't worry, it should be fine after a couple of minutes." Luffy as he struggled to keep his eyes open. "Actually I'm kinda tir-"
And with that, he fell asleep right on Momo's shoulder. "Good to have you back, Lu."Momo said softly. Momo, not knowing what to do, just did what he did to her. She stood up with him, bridal style, and carried him over to her other classmates.
"What's wrong?" Todoroki asked when he saw Luffy asleep, no longer in his old-man form.
"He just fell asleep, must be exhausted after fighting all day and doing... whatever he did just now." Momo said as she put Luffy on her shoulder, potato sack style.
"Let's get outta here, before the media or the cops pull up." Bakugou said, already leaving. "The last thing I want is to have to explain myself to a bunch of shitty extras."
"Agreed, we can't stay here." Todoroki said as he followed Bakugou before glancing back. "Do you need help?"
"No thanks, I can carry him." Momo said, after receiving a nod from Todoroki she followed after him. "He's family after all."

Egghead Island.
"You know vegapunk? I really like your finger." Zoro said as he hovered one of his blades over Vegapunk's hand. "I think I'll take it."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! No need to jump to such drastic measures!" Vegapunk said as he backed himself into a wall. "I told you I'd help you, didn't I?"
"Oh! Just let me at him! When I'm done, not even his precious swords will remain!" Lilith said as she tried to get out of the chain that was holding her down.
"That's why you're not getting out." Usopp said as he hovered over her. "You're way too scary to run around freely."
"How dare you call a lady scary, you shitty sniper?! I'll kick you into the next island if you say shit like that again!" Sanji said, which scared the living crap out of Usopp. "I'm so sorry Lilith-chan for my rude friend here. Would you like a smoothie to make your stay better?"
"Stop helping our prisoners, you idiot!" Nami said as she clobbered Sanji into the ground.
"Yes Nami-Swaaan!" Sanji said as he popped back up without any sort of discomfort.
"Can't you morons shut up?!" Zoro said annoyed with the rest of the crew. "I'm trying to torture someone here!"
"The only thing you're torturing are my ears, moss head." Sanji said as he took a puff of his cigarette. "So can you please stop talking, forever."
"I'll kill you, you swirly brow shitty cook!" Soon the pair started fighting, one with swords and the other with kicks.
"AW! Stop fighting you guys! We're supposed to find our SUPER captain. Not fight with each other." Franky said as he did his classic 'Super' pose. "Luffy wouldn't want that."

"...you're right." Zoro said as he got back to Vegapunk. "Now, I'll ask you again. Make that stupid portal thing work, or I'll kill you."
"Ugh, how many times do I have to explain this?" Vegapunk asked, after not receiving an answer he said. "Guess, I gots to do it one more time. The portal that your captain entered is one of my older creations. I call it the space-time Multiversal guide."
"Great, so can you fix it please?" Chopper asked.
"You see, that's the thing. I can't." Vegapunk said sternly.
"I don't believe in the word can't." Robin said casually. "If there's a will, there's a way."
After a long sigh, Vegapunk continued. "Look, your captain's been gone for what? A week? Maybe two?"
"So what?" Zoro asked.
"Sooo, the problem is that it's a time portal! not just a multiversal one." After only gaining blank stares, he continued. "What I mean is that your captain could be long dead, from old age or from something else, we don't know!"
"Exactly! You don't know." Zoro said. "So, why don't you try fixing it and let us find out by ourselves."
"But I tried to fix it over a 100 times!" Vegapunk said annoyed.
"...Guess it's time for lucky number 101." Said Zoro. "Cuz we ain't leaving, unless it's with our captain."
Vegapunk looked around the futuristic room filled with straw hats. He got nods of approval from every single one of them, signaling that this wasn't a bluff.
"Fine... Fine." Vegapunk said as he got up and went to his workshop. "But don't say I didn't warn you.
