Chapter 3: The prophetess
The prophetess became suddenly speechless the fate of Lucian is still unclear you can't see finish.. "What will happen if the king accept their union?"
"It will be a generational curse, this has never happened before I can see men pleased with the pleasure of having so many women around them but this young man has changed the fate of the people, can one man change a kingdom?"
"No, it's not done my priestess". she curtsied.. "Get the calabash we are going into the community to visit the king's palace".
"Yes milady". she went in and came out with the golden all eyes evil calabash and a secret leaf in her mouth to restrict her from saying even one word on their journey to the palace.. "the gods has blessed the land of Judah, he gave us water he gave us lands he gave us oil and Money we have cars and horses we own companies we are placed at the top in all parts of the world we can not let the glory of the gods depart from the land of Judah because of a mortal heir we can not loose to our enemies. my people say if one finger will cause you problem then you have to cut it off I will not let him succeed in the destroying the land of Judah". she keep on saying so many horrible words and incantations on their way till she entered the town...
The few people that saw her on the way was terrified, the prophetess will never or rarely come out except something so terrible is happening or is about to happen people go to her she don't come to you.. they stood by the roadside and watched her get out of sight and when she got to the palace the manservants greeted her.. "Greetings my prophetess, but I hope everything is alright". an elderly man who was about to leave the palace greeted...
"Everything is not alright but you have nothing to fear for it is not your fight you can depart".
"Okay, ijeoma". the older man said and left while she moved forward into the throne room, Lucian saw her with Aron and smirked, stood to be called upon he was going to caution her so seriously to mind her evil business... when she entered the people in the room was surprised.. "Greetings my king".
"Greetings priestess, a toad does not run in day time for no reason, why are you here all of a sudden?"
"My king remember you don't chase a black goat at night or you end up wasting your time".. she replied.
"What is it, tell us the eyes of the gods, we are doomed?"
"before I pass any information I want to speak with queen Jemima".
"What has she done wrong priestess?"
"She has absolutely done nothing wrong don't be afraid it is something she needs to know". she replied
"Guard!"
"My king". he went down with one knee and his sword pointed on the ground his head bowed.. "go and fetch me the queen".
"Yes my king".
He left in a hurry and their were whispers in the room, shortly the queen appeared she is always beautiful and the husband don't joke with her.. "Greetings my queen".
"Greetings priestess".
"Can I talk to you alone?"
"I hope all is well my priestess"..
"Let me see you outside my queen".
"Alright".
she trailed behind her to the outside where no one could hear them.. "Why are you closing your mouth against evil have you not seen enough?"
Jemima inhaled.. "My priestess, Lucian is above my control".
"No he is not, you're afraid you don't want to see him hurt that is why you have refused to do the needful, remember when a child is born his first teacher is the mother".
