Chapter 2: Condition
"What a tragic side character story!"
Dravid sighed as he read the story of this poor student named Samael.
He always believed he was some sort of main character of the world, but reality hit him too hard in the past couple of years as he saw no hope of making any money or girlfriend.
So even though he was deceased from the previous world, now he thinks that he is at going to be the main character of this new world.
[I would advise the host to not act edgy again since it's cringe]
Just as he was busy thinking of becoming the new world king, the system poured cold water on him.
Dravid shook his head in embarrassment and asked the question that a proper book character should ask.
"System, can you explain this world and your function please?"
Being a veteran reader of light novels, Dravid was fully aware of the kinds of systems as they all come into different forms.
[This world is known as Insta magical planet where mages flourish as they wield elemental power to call rain and storm. The host is an academy student who has the lowest mana body for wielding elements, so he has barely broken through rank one novice mage.]
The system explained some basic stuff about this world and continued.
[The mage ranks are divided into seven parts- Novice, Apprentice, Master, Moon Mage, Sun Mage, Star Mage and at last Arch Mage,]
[ Every mage rank is further divided into five steps, from rank one to rank five, til Moon Mage,]
The system briefly introduced this whole system of mages to him in a simple manner.
"So this is a magical world where people gain power through elements?"
[Yes.]
"What are these classes system?"
Dravid curiously checked the class where it was written in the sharp white text -- Healer.
[It is what the host is thinking. There are six classes in the magical world-- Attacker, Defender, Supporter which is known as Party Buffer, and Healer,]
[In the magical world, one team consists of six members in the party. One attacker, one defender, Two supporters and two healers.]
"What do you mean by party, System? Can't I kill people alone and then get a beautiful girlfriend by showing my might to the whole world?"
Dravid puffed his chest and spoke with a dominating voice, scaring the heck out of some hamsters in the room.
[Host is a fool to think that he could complete quests without the whole team since everyone has their role. If you don't have a healer in your team, it is a very high chance that you are gonna get killed even with a ton of potions.]
[Only Archmage doesn't have this restriction but it's been a long time since one became Archmage.]
[And the host is a healer so he can't take on enemies directly.]
After listening to the explanation of the system, Dravid finally understood why he couldn't be the hero who could save the damsel in distress.
"Okay, I am dumb. Now tell me how do you work?"
Dravid rubbed his fingers in expectation thinking of getting a cool system which could instantly make him at least Master rank mage.
[This system is known as The Harem Gainer system which can help the host to gain new abilities and rewards after getting unique girls into his harem.]
"What? So you mean I don't have to kill monsters and level up?" Dravid's main character complex rose again but was quieted down by the name 'Harem'.
"Mama Mia, this is even better," Dravid spun around on his body axis in joy as he heard the word Harem.
[But the girls would be pretty hard to get into the harem else rewards would be petty and may disappoint the host.]
First, cold water was poured on him, and then hot water was poured on him, which made him jump in agony.
"What do you mean, system? Why don't you look at my face? I would have been a supermodel if I were in my previous world. And you are telling me they won't even fall for me?"
Dravid didn't accept the system's words and got excited about his journey in this new world.
"System what about elements? Do they decide some kind of potential or class of Mages?"
Dravid put his finger on the plant's white text and pondered.
He was scared what if some tentacles or weeds grew out of somewhere in his body?
[No need to act scared host. There are multiple elements in the world giving mages different kinds of abilities and classes--

"Ohhhh..So now I understand why we need to form a team to complete the quests because every element has its advantage and disadvantages right?"
Dravid tried to memorise the stuff system gave to him.
[Host is becoming smarter. Yes, it's necessary to form a party which has companions with different attributes.]
Dravid shook his head from frustration as he seriously observed his body and saw his slim body was one particle away from a breakdown.
"System what is the role of mana points and strong points? Do they show me the condition of my body in its current state?"
[Yes host, by giving you clear data u can understand how much improvement you would be making in the future and your current condition.]
"Narohudo, I will try my best to pull all beautiful girls. I am gonna be the new rizz master."
[Host shall abstain from making such remarks since the host doesn't realise he has zero rizz and by the condition of his body, if some girl had sex with him, it would be considered Necrophilia.]
System mercilessly roasted the heck out of Dravid.
"Okay okay, I would abstain myself from doing this stuff but I can't pull any girl in this condition."
Dravid looked at his pitiful skinny muscles and understood he dipped!t poor.
[Worry not host! Why fear when the system is here? The newbie gift has been prepared, Is the host ready to accept it?]
