Synopsis

Saving an injured Fae in the forest had not been Islinda's plan, and worse, he turns out to be royalty, Prince Valerie of the summer court, heir and crown prince to the throne of Astaria.
But then, humans were wary of those otherworldly creatures while the Fae looked down on the humans, thinking of them as lesser creatures. Islinda and the prince were worlds apart but that didn't stop them from falling in love.
Unfortunately, Prince Valerie couldn't stay in the human realm forever and had to return to his kingdom with a promise to come back for her. And she believed him.
But then, the other one comes instead.
Dark, broody, ruthless yet dangerously handsome, everyone feared Prince Aldric. Even as a fierce warrior and son to the king of Astaria, Aldric is denied his right to the throne and cursed never to take his place because of his dark heritage.
Twisted from the inside and starved of affection, Prince Aldric does what he is best at, causing misery. He captured Islinda - the woman who has drawn his brother's attention. He stole her from her home for his cruel purpose. If he couldn't have the throne, he could at least play around with his brother's love interest. His new prize.
Islinda hated him. Loathed him for taking away everything that she could have had with the summer prince. He's the villain. Now she has been dragged into the middle of the dirty politics played in the courts of Astaria, not to mention surviving the cold games played by the prince.
But all hope wasn't lost because the cruel prince could tempt her all he wants but he was never going to get the one thing he wants the most. To be loved. He would never have her heart!

"What can you offer me, little human," He grinned, slow and cruel. She would make such a wonderful plaything.
"Please," She begged him, tears now gathering in her eyes, "Just let me go."
"Fine," He shrugged as if it was an easy request, "You can go."
"W-what?" She croaked, finding it hard to believe.
"Little human, you would find out my mind changes very easily." Those words sounded merciful yet she could sense the threat beneath.
But did he really mean?
Islinda didn't sit around to find out as she broke into a sprint. If there was even the slightest chance of him changing his mind, then she would take it. She would not give up hope yet.
She didn't know why but Islinda spared a look over her shoulder after a while and the blood drained from her face at what she saw coming.
Oh no, she just made a terrible mistake.
This was never freedom.
It was a hunt.
And she just became the prey.

Enjoying there isn’t an overload of information dumpming in these first few chapters the characters are still developing but, enough information for a solid grasp. A decent set-up within 4 chaoters & looking forward to how it develops while expecting many twists based on these beginning chapters & the synopsis.

I think it is okay and within my rights to say I wanna kill someone. Bloody mother n urrghhh... Loved the synopsis when I first read it. As a die hard fan of fantasy, I can say this proudly, I can't wait to see what Glimex aka Author Glimmy wud bring to the table. The pull of the story, the way your emotions flow with it... it's nice. Good one. Hehhee now, who are we killing?
I love your book so much I‘m expe cting great things from this book. You’r characters are the best especially two prince. I really wish you’ll let both of them get the girl I think it’s fair that way because their characters are perfect. And she has already given her first kiss to Valerie so please don’t let only the other prince get her, at least the relationship between the two brothers will improve. They’ll learn two share the throne two and the book will have so much spice. I love spice😩 Once again I love your book and your characters are the best❤️❤️❤️❤️ keep it up

With all sentences and emotions slipping off the characters, i would say that the author did a good job. Leaving me on the edge after each word and emotion and our FL is really sweet and kind. Maybe a little too kind for our world, but overall, this novel is great, and with the start alone, i swear you can't drop it. Nice job Glimmy❤️❤️🎉🎉

5 chapters in and compelled to give a review!! 3 distinct characters in 3 separate chapters and yet I am invested in all of them already! A gutsy FL with the promise of a life changing event and fantasy is right up my alley. I can’t wait for more. I am gonna binge read with an obsession i can already tell by the smooth lull into a compelling story by this author. My first book to read by this author but by no means my last!!😍😍❤️
I was really loving the story initially, but it’s getting a bit irritating to accept the FL’s thought process. She initially “loves” Valerie, but seems to quickly give up on him for not very good reasons. He is constantly thinking about her and wanting to save her from Aldric, but also to keep her safe from his mother. She doesn’t even consider that he may have had a reason for denying her at the ball, esp considering his initial reaction! Also, yes the soul swapping thing was not good, but he did it because he loved her and wanted to save her. Meanwhile, Aldric is such a POS. Sure, he doesn’t keep her in a cell, and he saved her life, but he manipulated her, kidnapped her and keeps her as his prisoner, just to use her and he doesn’t care about how she feels at all. Her life is short and he doesn’t mind making her live it out as his prisoner. I don’t like him at all and I don’t want her to end up with him.

Alright , five chapters into the book and I'll say it's a keeper. There's just so much intrigue, drama ,it's simply mind blowing
I'm addicted to this book. Each chapter is full of excitement and is never boring. All the characters in the book are amazing. I'm currently on chapter 601 and I don't regret any of the money I spent , because it was worth it! Dear author, you did a great job.😍
Story starts off right! Bit of tension in the first 3 chapters. Environment well described. Bad family memebers always does well in stories. Can't wait to see how they come to an end 😆. Completely different genre than Taken by the mafia Lord. Waiting with excitement for the next chapters . I will enjoy reading a good story again! Thnx Glimmy 🥰
