Tsunade POV

She had just escaped from Konoha along with Kushina and Minato and was on her way to the hideout they had prepared beforehand. This one was not far from the village, as they considered in case any problem arose, they could have a place to meet quickly.

This hideout was equipped with everything necessary to care for a patient, it had the most advanced equipment that Tsunade could get.

Once she arrived, she saw Rin, her mother, Shizune, and the Uzumaki family. They were ready to help in any way they could.

— Rin! Shizune! You will take care of Kushina, her condition is stable but delicate, I need you to constantly monitor her, for the rest, I leave it to your discretion. Shizune, you will be in charge.

Tsunade immediately handed Kushina over to Rin and Shizune to take care of stabilizing her and giving her the necessary care, she put Shizune in charge for the simple reason that she had been with Tsunade longer and therefore had more experience.

She, on the other hand, immediately asked the others to leave and proceeded to treat Minato. He was in a state where he would die if Tsunade left him alone for even a second.

She had actually received a method to save them from Lite if this situation came up, but after all, she didn't trust him one hundred percent, plus she didn't know if there would be a problem later. Leaving something hidden to somehow control two people with such great power later was not something she was willing to gamble with.

She was, after all, the best medic-nin, not just of her generation, but in recent history, and as such she had the pride and arrogance to go with that position. Just because she haven't practiced medicine for so many years, doesn't mean she had given it up. No, instead of that, she devoted herself to accumulate theoretical knowledge during all this time. With all that, she refused to believe that she couldn't save Minato on her own.

That's where her confidence came from, but on the other hand it was the fact that she had never seen a jinchuuriki, so she didn't know how serious the exact consequences of the extraction were.

For the next hour, Tsunade did everything she could, she had practically racked her brain to the point where she wouldn't be able to think for the next few days. But despite all the attempts, she achieved nothing more than to keep him alive, of course, as long as she was present.

With nothing else she could do, she just had to trust, once again, in what mister gave him.

— RIN! (Tsunade)

Without thinking twice, he called Rin so she could tell him his decision.

— What happened Tsunade sensei? (Rin)

— It's useless, there's nothing I can do with my power to save him. Bring Kushina and we will do as mister told us. (Tsunade)

— Eh... Is there really nothing we can do? (rin)

Tsunade could see the doubt on Rin's face, since no matter how good the impression she had of mister, and of course she noticed that from her disciple, leaving her sensei's life in her hands in such unknown circumstances wasn't something she was willing to do.

— No, I've already tried everything, but no matter what I do, his vitality is not capable of recovering, we have no alternatives left, and if we take any longer, I'm afraid Minato won't be able to bear to stay in that state for long. (Tsunade)

Tsunade knew very well her own capabilities. No matter how arrogant she may be, that arrogance was always based on her own capabilities. So when she realized that she couldn't solve the problem on her own, she decided to implement plan B.

Within no more than 3 minutes, Kushina was brought in on a stretcher, she was already in a better state, her vitality as a member of the Uzumaki clan and the nutrients administered to her in this period of time greatly helped her recovery.

Immediately Tsunade placed Minato and Kushina next to each other.

She went on to take out the last seals that Lite had given her, these were special and made with the best materials they could find.

That was because Lite didn't have the confidence that he could make them work otherwise, he didn't have that ability yet.

These seals consisted of three parts, two had been given to her and the last one she had to make it herself on Minato's body. For that, she dedicated herself to studying everything she could from the moment she obtained it and she could not help but marvel at how complex the concepts were and that even so, they reduced the number of symbols needed so much. To her that was nothing more than a beautiful contradiction.

The first seal was placed it in the middle of the two. What this did was create a link between the two, one end connected to the second seal, which had been placed on top of Kushina and the other end connected to Minato. However, before it got to him, Tsunade had to implement what she had quickly learned.

The operation was, in fact, quite simple. Connect the space where the Nine-Tails is sealed to Minato.

----------------------------- x X x -----------------------------

It was known that a jinchuuriki had a beast locked inside them, but it is impossible to compress beasts of this size inside a single person, so the solution that was implemented was quite simple, an independent space was created inside the person in question. Of course, it wasn't exactly inside the body, otherwise the jinchuuriki couldn't enter this seal through their mind.

One might think that since the bijuus were beings with bodies made from chakra, this would be pure energy and would have no mass, but the truth was that they did. That is why these measures were taken.

What the seal that was placed on Kushina did was attach to the seal that she already had and form a door. The seal that Tsunade placed on Minato opened a space within him. And the center was the bridge between the two.

When everything was ready, Tsunade activated all three at the same time. This caused Kushina's seal to open on one side, and now the Kyuubi would reside in a space shared between Minato and Kushina.

The logic was quite simple and, in fact, the procedure took a short time, however, the danger was incredibly great, since if the steps were not carried out perfectly, then there would be a new attack by the nine-tails on the outskirts of the village right now.

The only downside to this method was that since it was a shared space, Kushina and Minato couldn't stay away from each other. This was because the space that connected them could not support it, the more distance, the more fragile. In the end, Lite knew very little and had very little time.

— Uffff …. I must say that these were quite the tense moments… (Tsunade)

— Did everything go well, Tsunade-sama? (Shizune)

— Yes… The operation was a success. (Tsunade)

Tsunade was bathed in her own sweat, and as soon as she relaxed, a huge headache hit her, causing her knees to give out and her to fall to the floor.

— Tsunade-sensei! (Rin)

— Tsunade-sama! (Shizune)

— I'm fine… Go check on the status of those two. (Tsunade)

— Understood, Rin, stay here so you can attend to Tsunade-sama. (Shizune)

— Yes! (Rin)

'The mental stress was bigger than I thought. Who would have thought that I, one of the three legendary sannin, would end up like this because of a simple headache.'

Although of course, that was not a simple headache. She had actively participated in an attack against her own village and was constantly analyzing everything she could to know if she had made the right decision, all the details that her senses could capture were analyzed by her brain at every moment, analyzing, calculating and seeing. If something was wrong with the information that mister had provided her, and also, of course, to minimize the damage to the lives of the civilians. So, the stress on her was not something to be taken so lightly as a headache.

In the end, she realized that she had made the right decision. If mister had not intervened in any way, then the losses would have been truly great.

— Tsunade-sama, the signs are stable, we better take them to rest so they can fully recover. (Shizune)

'Fine, everything is fine… Ha ha ha I already want to see Minato's face when he finds out that from now on he won't be able to separate from his wife…'

— Tsunade-sama?!

In the end, the stress of the past few days made Tsunade's body unable to take it anymore and she gave in.

Rin and Shizune had to take care of everything for the next few hours.

Minato POV

He was in a dark place, where his vision led to nowhere. He knew that his death was drawing near, but he felt that he had nothing to regret. Although his memories were hazy, he was certain that before dying he had been able to seal the last of the fox inside his beloved wife, so that at least she would survive to raise treir son.

He was like that for a while, until he felt something numb inside his body, more exactly like a space would have been, he knew those sensations very well, after all, before he died he had gone through exactly the same thing.

This caused him to panic, believing that something had happened to either Kushina or Naruto. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do, although the biggest surprise was not long in coming.

— Kushina?

— Minato?

In front of him was his wife, but that should be impossible, there was no way they could both be here. But before long that surprise turned into terror. He remembered what he had planned to do when he was about to do when they were about to die at the kyuubi's clutches. That is, leaving a bit of chakra next to his consciousness in the seal in order to avoid future catastrophes.

At first eh thought so, but he immediately realized that wasn't possible since she had a child to take care of.

After a time when they didn't speak, everything started to blur and they woke up.

----------------------------- x X x -----------------------------

Kushina POV

The moment Kushina woke up, she realized that she was with her husband lying on two beds inside a rocky room.

The first thing she tried to do was look for her son and see what situation he was in, until all the memories before she lost consciousness resurfaced in her head.

A few minutes passed as her memories sorted out, and she finally understood the situation she was currently in. That made her feel even more confused since according to what she had in mind now she should be dead, however, here she was now.

— Kushina-sama? (Rin)

— Huh? (Kushina)

— Ah, wait a moment please, now I call Tsunade-sensei. (Rin)

— Oh, ok? (Kushina)

Then she finally noticed that a girl was next to her and deduced that she was the one who was monitoring her.

However, Kushina couldn't care less about that, she was still quite confused with everything that was happening around her and what she wanted to know the most at this moment was where her son, Naruto, was. She was certain that he was with her when she fell unconscious, so she wanted him immediately in her arms.

She was looking from one side of the room to the other, if you could call it that, trying to calm her cravings.

It was then that she heard footsteps approaching and a blonde mature woman with large breasts entered her range of vision and behind her was the same girl who was taking care of her. Before, she hadn't paid attention to her because of her anxiety, but now that she was analyzing her better realized that it was Minato's former student who was supposed to have died. That made her think for a moment that she was in the afterlife.

— Tsunade-san? What are you doing here? And you are… Rin? (Kushina)

— Hi Kushina, long time no see, I know you have a lot of questions to ask but I hope you have the patience until Minato wakes up so that I explain things to both of you since this is too much and I'm lazy to repeat it again. (Tsunade)

— I just want to know where my son is, please can you bring him to me? (Kushina)

— I'm sorry, that's not something I can do since at this time any of us are totally forbidden from entering the village no matter what. Calm down, it's not like we've done anything wrong, at least you guys, it's just that our circumstances are a little special. (Tsunade)

While they were talking, they noticed a slight moan in the next bed and realized that Minato had woken up.

— Hello… Don't worry, I heard everything while I was waking up, there are many things I want to know right now, but the most important thing is whether my son is okay or not. (Minato)

— Don't worry about that, I can assure you with complete certainty that he cannot be medically better. (Tsunade)

— It is a relief to hear it, but can we know why is it not possible to see him? What's more, you say that at this moment we cannot enter the village? Where are we right now? (Minato)

— Well, you see, do you remember that you were about to die? The village thinks you really are dead. Then you can't go back there, and neither can Kushina. (Tsunade)

— …I understand, but I don't understand the reason. (Minato)

— Oh, I made them believe that. (Tsunade)

— Why? (Kushina)

At this time she was quite confused due to everything that happened, they told her that she could not see her son and even less that she could not enter her own village in which she had been raised, despite the fact that she had not been born there. and that at first they treated her badly, she cannot deny that she has very beautiful memories of that place. So she felt very uncomfortable with the news.

— Well, it's quite complicated to explain right now but basically the same thing that happened with Rin. (Tsunade)

— Rin? ( Kuhsina )

— That's right, later I'll let Minato explain everything to you. (Tsunade)

— Minato? Since when do you hide things from me…? (Kushina)

— Ha…ha…ha… *cold sweat* Tsunade, although I want to know a lot more about that, there is something else I urgently want to ask. (Minato)

— Go on. (Tsunade)

— How am I still alive? (Minato)

— Or, well, we did a little experiment and it turned out well. (Tsunade)

— I feel like I want and don't want to know at the same time. (Minato)

— Uh, well, although I think things are complicated to explain right now, you should rest and recover first. Ah, I ask you to look at your wrists, as you will notice you are both tied with a chain. Due to certain circumstances that I will explain to you in a moment, you will not be able to stay more than one meter apart. (Tsunade)

Kushina felt her whole world turn upside down, first Rin wasn't dead, now they by some kind of miracle from Tsunade, Minato remained alive despite the intense battle and the unfavorable conditions they faced. But she wasn't a strong woman for no reason, the only thing she wanted right now was to see her son, so she didn't care about anything else. She wanted answers related to the topic.

— Tsunade-san, I want you to please explain to me how we ended up in this situation, how Minato is alive, and especially what happened during the attack. From the way you intervened and helped us, I gather that you already had information beforehand and that's why you were so prepared. (Kushina)

— *Sigh* Honestly, I would have preferred you rest first so we could have a proper talk, but I guess it's impossible for you to calm down right now. (Tsunade)

Afterward, Kushina proceeds to listen to absolutely everything that had happened since Rin's "failed" rescue. How the situation she was in who had saved her, how some mysterious person had contacted them and helped them in those moments, his plans, his supposed objectives, what they believed to be his true objective, everything, absolutely everything that happened before, she listened intently. For almost every sentence she would ask a question, clarifying the issue more and more. What was most difficult for her to understand was that her husband had not been able to detect a mark that had been left on him, which left her very afraid. Luckily in the end he turned out to be an ally, but if he hadn't, an attack on the village by a fox would have been the least of his worries. The possibility of this village suffering the same fate as the Uzumaki clan was not small.

In fact, Kushina was not someone stupid, seals are a complex science so study is needed, you can be talented at it, but still, talent is worthless if you don't have basic knowledge. So she quickly understood all the subtleties that were hidden in the story, although she missed several things because he was not as proficient in data analysis as Minato and Tsunade were.

— So, all this happened without me knowing? I can't blame you though. (Kushina)

— That's how it is. (Minato)

— And do you have any idea who it is? Did you manage to get close to any identity? (Kushina)

— We do not have anything. (Tsunade)

— What about little Lite? (Kushina)

— We keep an eye on him, but we don't know when they contact each other or what their type of relationship is.

Kushina felt that there were things that she really didn't want to know for the sake of her mental and emotional stability, unfortunately, reality was like that.

— Now that you know everything, what do you think? (Minato)

— I think you made the right decision back then. But, Tsunade-san, is this mister involved in the attack on the village? (Kushina)

— That's how it is. He is the one who provided me with the tools to be able to minimize the damage and save them. (Tsunade)

— Speaking of which, Tsunade-san, I think it's about time you told us exactly what happened. Why did you disappear during those months? I was really worried that I couldn't contact you, I thought something bad had happened to you. (Minato)

— Ah… *sigh* Honestly it was all crazy. (Tsunade)

— Well, we have time. (Minato)

— Alright then— (Tsunade)

— Ah… Before that. is there something to eat? — Kushina asked somewhat blushing.

2 hours later

After a good meal and a long talk, the whole truth came out. And she did not fall short in her task of impressing the fourth Hokage and a jinchuuriki of the most powerful beast.

The fact that the person in front of their eyes had blown up the village to save the citizens left them in shock, and they couldn't help but feel a bit of admiration at being able to bear all of that by herself.

— I see... I'd like to have a talk with him. (Minato)

— I'm sure he'll try to contact us. (Tsunade)

— I think so too. (Kushina)

— Well, overthinking won't help. Now, regarding this seal… (Minato)

— Ah, actually, I don't really get it either. (Tsunade)

— And you still used it on us? (Minato)

— There was no other option. (Tsunade)

Of course he knew there was no other choice, and he couldn't blame her for not telling him anything either. That was clear to him when he heard the story. It's just that he felt uncomfortable having to be tied to his own wife. He felt that the words of his senpais became true when he saw the chains.

— Do you even know how it works? (Minato)

— Oh yes. It basically creates a space tunnel that connects the seal on Kushina towards you. (Tsunade)

— ! (Minato)

— ! (Kushina)

Tsunade's words may have been quite vague due to her lack of understanding of the subject, but Minato and Kushina were able to get to the gist with just that.

The reason was very simple, it was something that with their knowledge was impossible to do.

That's one of the wonders of what Lite was striving to build. It took a lot out of a person's talent and focused more on an applicable system so that more people can use it. For example Minato, for him to perform his technique, apart from the corresponding seal, he had to be able to sense the element of space, Tsunade on the other hand, was able to perform something much more complicated even though surely her compatibility with space was nothing compared to Minato's.

The reason is quite simple, with the more advanced math operations that Lite had implemented, it greatly reduced intuition and went more along the path of calculation. An example can be when kicking a ball. For someone who has trained a lot, they can score a goal from any angle with pure instinct, but if someone knows the corresponding variables, such as angle, acceleration, distance, potency, etc, they will be able to perform the same feat. A human is not capable of performing all these calculations on their own, but that is where the seals come in to stabilize things through mathematical functions. You can say it's somthing like CAD from mahouka.

Now, thanks to all that, two people could share a bijuu.

— Although he told me that it was still too unstable. If you get too far apart, the space will be destabilized, hence the chains. He told me to give you the complete manuals and seals for you to analyze and strengthen the seal. (Tsunade)

— …Oh… Fine… (Minato)

While Minato had already regained a bit of clarity, Kushina was still immersed in her thoughts. Although she left her village at a very young age, she still remembered that there were seals capable of expanding spaces, but they were all large and were used for entire rooms, this was because on a smaller scale they were not able to guarantee their stability, but this did.

In other words, this mister, whoever he is, had achieved something that not even her entire village, which was widely recognized for being the best when it comes to fuinjutsu, could not do.

— Well, we've talked long enough. I will leave you alone to rest and order your ideas. (Tsunade)

— Oh yeah. (Kushina)

— Anything they require can be communicated to Rin or Shizune. I'll also ask them to deliver the seal designs tomorrow. (Tsunade)

— Are you going somewhere, Tsunade-san? (Kushina)

— Yes, I want to check how the little Lite is doing. I am a little worried. I have a bad feeling. (Tsunade)

— I see, be careful. (Minato)

— Don't worry, who do you think I am? Bye bye. (Tsunade)

— Bye Tsunade-san. (Kushina)

— See you, Tsunade-san. (Minato)

Left alone with her husband, Kushina rests in his arms, thinking about her son and if it's possible to see him soon.

Konoha village

The atmosphere was gloomy. It had been long since the war finished before another disaster struck the lives of the villagers and ninjas.

The nine-tailed fox's attack was devastating to the village, where virtually the entire central area had been blown to bits.

The residents were amazed that the fatalities had been so few, no more than 8 deaths were counted, although there were many injuries, including 15 seriously and the rest would be able to recover after a few days.

However, the reason why they were all like this was because of the loss of their Hokage in a brave battle against the enemy where his wife also perished.

From the next chapter onwards the number of words will be reduced to 2000 aprox. Hope you don't mind, but this is in order to publish more frequently.

I'm thinking of doing a Q&A, so, if you have any question, leave them in the comments and I'll answer them at the end of the next chapter.

Love U!
