Chapter 29: Chapter 29 weapon hall 2

"Wow! This is incredible," Jacob lamented.

A figure commanded attention from his seat at the back. A bald man with a rugged countenance sat with an air of authority, his eyes piercing and intense.

In his hands, he grasped a sword of unparalleled craftsmanship, a weapon that exuded an aura of fear and power. The blade shimmered in the ambient light, reflecting the flickering torches that lined the walls. The hilt was adorned with a delicate yet robust grip, wrapped in supple black leather that seemed

to merge with the man's weathered hands.

"I think that sword must be made from the crystals of beasts from the Nocturna Realm," Adam started.

Nocturna Realm is a captivating world teeming with mythical beasts, advanced strength, intellect, and the enigmatic power of crystals.

It is a land of eternal twilight, forever bathed in the soft glow of a pale moon. Here, the natural order of things has been altered, giving rise to extraordinary creatures that defy conventional understanding. The realm is a sanctuary for beasts, each possessing unique abilities, unmatched strength, and an innate connection to the powerful crystal energies that permeate their environment.

Deep within the dense forests of Nocturna, colossal creatures known as the Titans roam, towering over the landscape with their immense size and commanding presence. These gentle giants possess not only physical might but also profound wisdom accumulated over countless centuries.

Winged serpents, their scales shimmering with iridescent hues, dominate the skies. These majestic beings possess not only the power of flight but also an intellect that rivals the most astute scholars. They are the keepers of ancient knowledge and act as guides to those who dare to venture into the depths of Nocturna's mysterious history.

Amid the crystalline caves lie the Sentinels, creatures of raw power and stoic temperament. These beings are infused with the energy of high crystals, granting them abilities beyond mortal comprehension. They possess the strength to shape reality itself, manipulating the very fabric of Nocturna to their will.

However, not all inhabitants of Nocturna are benevolent. Deep within the shadows lurk the Shadowscales, cunning and stealthy beings who possess a mastery of illusion and manipulation. These deceptive creatures can blend seamlessly with the darkness, striking fear into the hearts of even the most courageous.

In this enthralling world of Nocturna Realm, the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur, giving rise to a tapestry of unparalleled adventure. It is a place where incredible beings, endowed with advanced strength, intellect, and weaponry of higher crystal powers do their hunt.

A few minutes later, the room started to fill with more new students like themselves that was when Lysandra, the first friend Jacob made on the bus walked into the room and sighted Jacob.

"Hi Jacob," Lysandra greeted.

"Hey! It has been a long time, How have you been? Jacob inquired.

"I'm good, so we meet again in the same class," Lysandra said.

(Jacob, may I speak?) Dagon asked.

"I don't think now is a good time, there are people all around here," Jacob replied.

(I know so I will just speak while you listen, ok? This is about the vampire, I can sense it's present here and I think it's 'Lysandra')

"What? Are you out of your senses? How can you say she is the vampire, that is not even possible."

(That is it, the love interest. Think about it where has she been since the first day of school? And she just shows up today after you fought with the vampire last night, and look there are bruises all over her body)

After taking a very good look at Lysandra's body and putting what Dagon had just said into consideration, Jacob inquired.

"Hey, Lysandra! How did you get all these bruises on your body?"

"Ooh! These? These are nothing, they are just bruises I got from the hand-to-hand combat class," Lysandra replied.

Not satisfied by her answers, Jacob asked her another question. "I was also in that class but I didn't see you there neither do I have such bruises."

"I told you I got it from the combat class, what is your problem? Why aren't you men ever satisfied with one answer," she replied in a loud tune before leaving the weapon hall gathering the attention of the students.

Just as she left, Adam and Ray walked up to Jacob and inquired. "Hey Jacob, what was all that about?"

(That's because I was right, do you believe me now?)

Disregarding the echoing voice of Dagon, Jacob retorted in response to Adam and Ray, his tone filled with confusion and frustration. "I honestly have no idea. I simply posed a straightforward question, and she suddenly became enraged and started yelling. I can't fathom what could be bothering her."

At that moment, the man with a bold, hairless scalp, positioned at the rear of the room, interrupted the conversation, asserting his authority over the students. His eyes, devoid of warmth, seemed to possess a calculating and piercing gaze as he scrutinized the newcomers with an unwavering intensity.

-"For many of you, this must be your first time stepping into such a room with so much weaponry. So you have to do as you are told to avoid being killed by one of these weapons," the bold-headed man added.

-"Now! You have 30 minutes to go around and pick a weapon that you may feel connects and matches your ability, and your time starts now."

Eyes widened with excitement as the students surveyed the room. Swords glimmered under the soft lighting, their edges honed to perfection. Staves stood tall and proud, emanating an aura of mystical power. Bows and arrows beckoned with their promise of accuracy and precision.

"You have been trained in the art of combat, and now it is time to choose your weapon," the bald man continued, his gaze sweeping across the room. "Remember, this is not about the weapon's might, but rather its harmony with your essence. Take your time, explore, and trust your instincts."

The students dispersed, wandering amidst the vast collection. Some were drawn to the elegant curves of a katana, symbolizing discipline and finesse. Others gravitated towards the weighty heft of a battle axe, representing sheer strength and determination. A few were captivated by the intricate engravings of a magical staff, hinting at arcane secrets waiting to be unlocked.
