"My luck can't be that bad, right?" Akira muttered as he walked out of Runeas' empty room.
At this moment, many thoughts went through his head.
Lost in thought, he ended up not paying attention to his steps which caused him to bump into a certain redhead who was returning to the room.
Bump!
"Argh! My head!" Akira exclaimed as he rubbed both hands over his head, it was as if he had hit his head on a solid metal wall.
"Huh? Akira? What were you doing in my room?"
Runeas said in surprise as she helped Akira to his feet, she didn't notice him because she was distracted by the ice cream she had bought in the morning.
Akira didn't immediately answer Runeas' question, that was because he was heartened that she didn't leave, even the pain he felt from bumping into her had disappeared.
"Thank God, you didn't leave!"
When those words came out of Akira's mouth, a huge pain took his mind, for the fact that he thanked God while still being a devil.
"You are a devil and you still thank God? You are really strange." Runeas muttered softly.
'You are the odd one here!'
"Runeas, where did you go this morning? I remember that for the past few days it was always me who woke you up." Akira asked ignoring his other thoughts.
Runeas looked at Akira with a smile on her face as she said, "Oh? Are you interested in where I went? If I remember correctly, you always wanted me to go away so you could be free."
Runeas' response left Akira mute for a few moments.
Knowing that he couldn't tell the truth, he decided to just tell a few little lies that even she couldn't notice.
"Actually, I've had a lot of fun the last few days, and since this is our last day in England, I decided I should at least do something memorable."
"Oh! That's true."
Nodding her head in agreement, Runeas thought of something and went on to say, "In that case, why don't you tell us where we're going today?"
It was exactly those words that Akira was expecting from Runeas. He knew that for the past few days, she was the one who was dragging him places, and knowing that there were only 24 hours left before the mission failed, he decided that he should take the reins and take her to a place where he could confess in a way that even Runeas would find hard to refuse.
'If all goes well, I will not fail in my mission!'
Akira could already picture himself completing the system mission.
"That being the case, I already have plans for us today!"
With a smile on his face, Akira showed Runeas the places they would be going today, causing the young woman to be surprised at how much effort he had put in.
"I didn't expect you to be so careful with the details.... But what's with this mystery about the last place you want to visit today?"
Runeas' mind was seized with curiosity, seeing that Akira didn't want to tell her the last place they would both visit tonight.
"If I told you, then it wouldn't be a surprise." Akira only said this as he went back to his room to get ready for the long day.
"You're right."
With those words, she also went back to her room to get ready.
"Why do I feel like he deflected my question about him being inside my room?" She muttered softly as she summoned a change of clothes with magic.
Initially she was keeping the clothes in the hotel closet, but she felt it would be more practical to just keep them in a space of her own, so she could change clothes at any time.
Poor Akira...

Right now in a place taken over by shadows.
"So you're telling me he disappeared?"
A cold voice sounded.
The voice was so cold that anyone who heard it would feel a chill all over their body.
Hypnos, who was kneeling, didn't know how to answer his mother's question. He knew it had been a mistake to leave Akira alone in that forest, but he never even in his dreams imagined that the boy could disappear from that forest, especially when he left a barrier of protection that only beings stronger than him could break it.
"Mother..."
Before Hypnos could say anything, he felt a shiver run through his body, forcing him to be quiet.
"I don't want any excuses."
"Not only did you fail at a simple mission I gave you, you were even exposed to the underworld. Do you know how much trouble you have gotten me into?" Nyx said coldly.
She could perfectly see the wounded appearance of Hypnos who seemed to have been through a series of battles before coming to this place. Even his arm was missing, and that surprised her.
'To be able to injure him to this extent... Only a few beings come into my mind.'
"Tell me, what happened after you kidnapped Ingvild?"
Hypnos let out a sigh of resignation and began to recount everything that had happened in the underworld, from the moment he left Akira in a forest, to the point where he was discovered by a white-haired woman as he searched for Akira's tracks.
'The woman wore maid's clothes, and had white hair? Hmph! Now I understand why he is injured, it is impossible for him to defeat the strongest Queen of the Underworld.'
After hearing everything that happened, Nyx looked disgustedly at Hypnos.
"Even if she is stronger than you, it is impossible for you to be that injured."
Hypnos as if expecting this line from Nyx, had a pitiful look on his face as he said, "At first I didn't have much difficulty fighting this woman, but the truth is that after she spotted Ingvild, her attacks became more powerful, and this caused an even greater commotion in the underworld, causing reinforcements to come."
"Initially I had confidence in escaping without injury, but since the woman had gathered strength with other powerful beings from the underworld, I ended up in this state."
Nyx was silent for a few moments as she waved her hand, signaling that Hypnos could leave.
"Thank you, for your mercy." Hypnos knew that the signal his mother gave with her hand, showed that she would not punish him immediately.
Seeing Hypnos disappear in front of her, Nyx gave a sigh of resignation, "You really are slippery, Akira."
She never expected that she would have so much trouble bringing Akira to her.
Silence took over for a few moments in this place taken over by shadows.
But soon, a murmur was heard.
"If you want something done right, do it yourself."
This murmur seemed to make the shadows come alive, and in the next instant, all the shadows gathered in a specific direction.
Nyx, who had pulled all the shadows into her body, shook her head and then disappeared.
The place that had been filled with shadows slowly crumbled, revealing its true appearance.
