Chapter 94: Spending Time With the Hal Family
Hearing his admission, Ryker's eyes widened. He knew the grade of his Cultivation Art would be high, Celestial Energy Art is likely a High Source Grade Art, so he knew the others are high rank too.
But to hear from another person, only confirmed to him that his parents were unfathomably powerful. The two looked at him, before the elder cough.
" Might as well. The Deep Lake Lotus had been in the vault for a long time. If no one from the family couldn't take it, might as well let a friend of the Hal Family take it. Now that you picked up the treasures you wanted, let's meet with the others,"
Ryker nodded, the elder quickly led him away from the vault. They went towards the exit, though Ryker thought were mostly on his family. He wondered what they were doing.

Shuri looked at the woman in front of her. Their age is all the same, a difference of a year or two at most. And her strength is greater than theirs, at the peak of Genesis Formation, only needing an opportunity to break through.
Except for one. She looked at Mashia, the blue-haired beauty currently eating a biscuit. Her strength, from what her father told her, is at the peak of Genesis Condensing, to her surprise. To hear someone around her age be so strong.
And Ryker was even more impressive, being at the Genesis Foundation. Which allowed him to defeat and kill the people coming after her cousin's life. She wondered where they came from.
To have such strong cultivation, one needs to consume plenty of resources. For two such people to appear, the only way for them to be this strong is by having powerful support. They are likely someone from one of the bigger vassal kingdoms of Birak Kingdom, or even from the kingdom itself.
Her thought process was broken when a small hand touched her face, the little Ariana looked at her with a tilted head. She tried to maintain her composure but inside she was squealing, the cuteness of the child too much for her.
The little girl continued to poke her cheek. She wanted to tell her to stop but she didn't have the heart to do it, the girl liked doing it. She turned her head, to see her cousin giving her a smug smile.
She has to fight the urge to punch him. She won, her restraint was strong but it was a surprisingly close battle. She instead decided to take the girl into her lap, the little girl clapping her hand in happiness.
The jealous look on Solance's face was worth it. She gets to mess with her cousin and have a cute baby to play with. It was a win-win. Unfortunately, the little girl held her arms to one of her guardians, Ina taking the baby and playing with her.
She decided to let Ina play with Ariana. After all, she had more choices, the number of children in the room was eight, not including Ariana. She spotted the shy Amari, who had put herself behind the couch.
Walking toward the young girl, she patted her shoulder, making her jolt before the little girl turned her head towards her. Shuri asked, "Do you want to play with me?"
The little girl looked at her for a while before nodding, Shuri carried her and put the smaller girl in her lap. She stroked the girl's hair, taking some hair pins from her storage ring. She took the time to braid and put the hairpins on her hair, the little girl enjoying it judging by the big smile on her face.
After finishing her self-imposed task, she pulled out a mirror, letting the girl examine her new look. She clearly liked it, her bright smile almost comparable to Ariana's. Looking at the said little girl, she took the chance to stuff herself with sweet, Ina letting her take her own snacks.
Shuri decided to have the servants bring more snacks. She looked at her father, to see him having a heated discussion over something with both Esran and Ezekial, his father looked very serious as the two young boys told him something.
She wondered what they were talking about, before deciding to focus on the little one in her lap.

When the three men entered the room, they were met with the sight of the adults playing with the children, some of them having braids and accessories in their hair. The creaking of the door made the inhabitants of the room look in surprise at the newcomer.
They all tried to look dignified, but it was hard to do when you have a cute hairpin on one person. "I see you have fun," the elder teased the group, making them blush at the thought of their father and grandfather seeing them like this.
Solance was about to say something but his grandfather stopped him, "You can tell me about everything after dinner. For now, I need to go to the elder assembly. Solail, Sorush, follow me. As for you, you can spend the night if you want too," he said to Ryker.
While spending the night in the mansion seemed like a good deal, unfortunately, Ryker had to refuse. "Thank you elder, but I'm planning to do some missions from the Adventure Guild tomorrow, so I need to make some preparations before leaving," he politely said.
The old man, knowing he refused just nodded. "In that case, I will have Low escort you to your home. I do hope you have a great time here," he said as an afterthought.
After saying that, he left the room, and his two sons followed after him. Shuri and Solance looked at each other before the young master left. After all, his presence in the estate was still a tight secret.
Shuri led them to the gate of the estate, the carriages were waiting for them. She smiled at them as she said, "Thanks for coming, I have a great time. If you have some free time, you can come visit again,"
"Sure, we love too," Miriam replied, the two have become close friends during the short time they spent together. With their farewell said, they left the estate and headed towards their home.
As for Shuri, she clasped her hands, her face red thinking about the offer Ina gave to her.
"I have to think this through," she said to herself, heading towards the mansion after sending them away.

"So, the boy's potential is tremendous?" a powerful voice said, the room devoid of light except for some glowing gems, the only light source in the room.
"Yes, if we can get him close, we might be able to increase our influence. The only problem would be that he is a traveler. He would likely leave the city to continue his travel," the elder said, boing to the figure in front of him.
"Oh, in that case, that would be even better. We could ask him for some help if he becomes stronger, especially if little Shuri had a crush on him. Tell the other elders I allowed two treasures to be taken out,"
"Yes, ancestor!"
