Chapter 108: Dragon Arrives
The following morning
Galan was training on the Seastone block as per usual. Ace was watching him in anger. He was chained up here! Soon, he'd be shipped off to god knows where! But this man killed his father!
He heard some yelling last night and it was difficult to sleep but he managed to do it anyway.
Olvia looked at Galan and sighed sadly, she could only imagine the pain he was going through at this moment…
Ace looked at Galan and said "Hey, old man. How did you do it?" Galan glanced at him before ignoring him, Ace shouted angrily "How did you punch through me like that!?" Galan stopped and said "Why does it matter?" Ace snorted "I want to know, that's why."
Galan retorted "And who the fuck are you?" Ace was speechless as Galan continued ignoring him, going back to the block.
Olvia smiled at Ace, curling her finger at him. He frowned and walked over, sitting down next to her as she smiled "It's quite simple really…" she pointed at a vase and punched at it.
Ace watched as an arm poked through the vase but Olvia's real hand punched the ground! Ace was shocked, saying "Devil Fruit!?" Olvia laughed and shook her head explaining slowly "This is a technique Galan created… If you use Paper Arts, Finger Gun, and Shave at the same time, you can create a very real afterimage. You see my arm go through the vase but it never did, I only showed you that I did…"
Olvia dusted off her hands and smiled, "Well, if you don't understand, it's alright. This is a very high level technique. Very few people have seen it." Ace said in confusion "So he faked my death… For what?" Olvia smiled and didn't reply, changing the subject "What do you want for dinner, Ace-chan?"
Ace's eyes lit up, "Meat!" Olvia laughed and nodded, "Okay."
That same night
Galan tossed and turned in the bed but Olvia held him tightly, stroking his hair as she held him in her chest. He calmed down slightly and continued sleeping.
The next day
Galan was standing outside as Dragon landed, dropping a funny guy with a top hat. Dragon patted Galan's shoulders, grinning "Hey!" Galan nodded and said "Did you bring them?"
The kid with the Top Hat held the Seastone cuffs and Galan nodded, "Follow me." before turning around and walking to his house.
Dragon followed him as the kid asked "Dargon-san, what are we doing here?" Dragon smiled mysteriously, saying "Picking up a new comrade." The young man was helpless, sighing, "I just want to go back…"
Dragon chuckled and said "Come on, Sabo." Sabo followed him gloomily.
They came to Galan's house and Galan dragged Ace out, pushing him to Dragon. Sabo froze on the spot and stared at Ace with wide eyes, Ace said angrily "Bastard! Why are y- SABO?!" Sabo shouted with tears in his eyes "ACE!" he ran over and hugged him, the two crying as they hugged tightly.
Dragon looked at the scene and smiled happily, Galan was expressionless, saying "I need that bracelet back." Sabo tore the chains off of Ace's body, saying excitedly "You're alive! HAHAHAHA! I thought you were dead! Hahaha! You stupid asshole! Always making me worry!"
Ace didn't even care and said in excitement, "I thought you died! What happened?!" Sabo took off the bracelet and started talking quickly, waving his hands and laughing loudly.
Ace laughed so hard he cried as they sat down and continued talking. Galan took the bracelet from Sabo's hands and slapped the Seastone cuffs on Ace's wrists before walking away.
Ace looked at the cuffs before exploding "You bastard!" Galan ignored him and Sabo calmed him down, saying "Woah, Ace. Calm down! I want to hear what happened!" Ace snorted and turned back, talking again.
Dragon looked at the two and smiled before following Galan into the house.
He took off his hood and sat at the table as Galan put the bracelet back on Sugar, saying "Okay, go." Sugar jumped up and skipped outside, humming "Lalala~" before shouting "Tiny! We can play again!"
Tiny raised his trunk and cheered! Throwing a ball in a hoop!
But this time… he was balancing on a big ball!
Sugar cheered "WOOOOOOOOO!"
Dragon smiled at Galan, saying "So the new 'Strongest Man in the World', eh?" Galan ignored him as Olvia poured drinks, smiling gently. Dragon took his drink and smiled "Thank you, Olvia… How have you been?"
Olvia smiled happily and replied "Very good, you?" Dragon drank and chuckled "Amazing… By the way, I have new information." he smiled and added "We found Nico Robin on Tequila Wolf, picked her up after the Op was complete. She's currently going to our base."
Galan frowned slightly and looked at Dragon, who waved his hand and continued "Don't look at me like that… I'm not a Celestial Dragon… She will not be touched!" Galan turned back to his notebook as Olvia said happily "Oh great! I hope she can train there, Dragon-kun."
Dragon smiled and nodded, "I will be training her personally! Hmm… Well, she seems to know Haki already so I don't have to waste time teaching her that… It'll save me around 6 months! However… If you really want her to be strong, maybe you should ask him to train her…" Galan didn't even look up, replying "No." Olvia smiled and said "Thank you, Dragon-kun." Dragon smiled helplessly and replied "It's nothing, really. She's like one of our own. Same goals at any rate. Maybe she'll even find someone in the army who knows."
Olvia pursed her lips and glanced at Galan, who stiffened. She covered her mouth and Galan frowned deeply, "You train her. She doesn't need to see other people." Dragon laughed happily and slapped the table, "You bastard, you really do have emotions! I almost forgot! Fine. No boys."
Dragon then rubbed his chin and said "Speaking of boys, how's mine?" Galan replied slowly "Very good. A genius even… only in fighting. Like Garp." Dragon clicked his tongue and frowned, "I knew I should've taught him when he was a kid… I bet this kid only thinks of eating, sleeping, and fighting…"
Galan snorted, retorting "Not everyone needs to be insidious like you." Dragon raised a brow, "Insidious? Thank you!" Galan rolled his eyes and ignored him as Olvia laughed warmly, asking "Dragon-kun, can you stay for dinner?"
Dragon checked his watch before shaking his head and sighing "Unfortunately, I have to leave soon. I can stay for lunch, maybe…" Olvia nodded and said "Then I'll cook right away!" Dragon sighed, "Okay, okay…"
