Chapter 80: Chapter 73: Dungeon of Nazarick

"Welcome, Guardians, to the Dungeon of Nazarick," Arthur said.

Seeing the massive door-like structure, protected by the figures of the supreme being Aurora, as the Guardian of this floor, she couldn't help but ask.

"My Lord, did this place exist before you created me, or is it something you created after other supreme beings passed away?" Aurora's question was genuine; she is the guardian of this floor, but she doesn't have a recollection of what this dungeon is. In fact, it is the first time she has ever heard of such a thing.

If she were just the Overseer of Co-Guardian, then not knowing this place can be justified, but she is also the ruler of this place so not knowing something within her floor is not acceptable in her opinion.

Of course, there are places in Chaos that she doesn't know about, but that is only because her creator, Ancient One, deems it so. Even in that case, she knew there was a place like this, and the only reason she couldn't enter was because of the Ancient One's command.

Because of this, she needs to know whether this place was constructed before her creation or after the death of the supreme beings.

Hearing this, Arthur was about to reply to Aurora's question when Friday interrupted him in his thoughts.

[Sorry for interrupting while you're in the middle of your speech, Sir. Can you please tell her that you built the dungeon after the death of the supreme beings to honour their bravery.]

'Why?'

[To protect her self-esteem as the Guardian of the Chaos.]

'To protect her self-esteem? I don't really understand what you said, but I will follow as you told.'

"You don't have to be restless, Aurora. This place was built after my friend moved away and this was built to honour their bravery. And this place isn't on the map of Chaos; that's probably why nobody knows it exists."

"Is that so then would that mean we will be the first to enter this dungeon after you, My Lord," Aurora asked.

"Yes, Why do you ask?"

"Nothing, My Lord, I was just curious. What is the function of this dungeon anyway."

"This dungeon is an advanced type raw material supplying area."

"Like the mining area on the fourth floor," Angrboda asked.

"Exactly, but here we also spam living beings, plants, and other important ingredients that are essential for our future development."

"So an endless supply of raw materials for our conquest, isn't that right, My Lord."

"Yes, Demiurge. And I also give you permission to use the Dungeon along with Esdeath to create the battalions of Demons, Angels, and other war monks. Are you ready for the task, Demiurge, Esdeath?" Arthur asked, knowing what their reply would be.

"Yes, My Lord." ×2

Both of them replied as they kneeled down.

While Arthur made his movie, Roland, the team leader of Dark Blade, whom Arthur had previously helped, was at the front of the Re-Estize Kingdom's Adventures Guild, reporting the strange incident he had encountered.

Hearing all of the information that Roland and his party provided, the Guild Master, Greybell, was silent for a moment. Then asked

"Tell me his name again."

"Arthur Pendragon. That was how he introduced himself to us but we overhead his butler calling him Ancient-sama."

"Ancient, Huh. So why do you think he was suspicious? From what you said he looks like a kind man and offered you a helping hand."

"I don't know if he is being kind or if he is just pretending to be kind, but I can tell you I have a feeling that both he and his butler are not human. They are clearly not ordinary people. Both of them have an evil atmosphere around them, especially the butler who introduced himself as Demiurge."

"And then there was the way he talked. His body language and clothing style gave him the aura of an aristocrat, but his speaking style was that of a toddler. Like who starts a sentence with "My fellow humans"? It's straight-up suspicious."

"May he have been trying to blend in with humans? And did he ask to share information instead of money as a mode of payment for his help, right?" Greybell asked to which Roland nodded.

Seeing Roland nod, Greybell opened his drawer took out a parchment that looked just like the guild's quest request parchment and placed it on top of the desk. On that parchment there was also a seal that Roland knew—the whole of humanity knows—the Seal of Slane Theocracy, the land of the gods.

"What is this, Greybell," Roland said because he and Greybell had a close relationship, he didn't even add the title.

"This? This is a request that was issued from Slane Theocracy about 5 years ago. The request was to report any suspicious person, who is new to the Guild, and who also possesses incredible power, which is unknown to the Guild members. Since this information is highly classified, only a handful of people know it." Greybell said.

"So care to tell me why you're telling me such classified information? And why was such a request made by Slane Theocracy?" Roland asked.

"The answer to your first question, which you should already know, is because the description you gave is the same as in the request. A powerful individual who has never been seen kills all the enemies, and asks for information and his surname 'Pendragon', out of 367 noble families under the Slane Theocracy, not a single one has the surname 'Pendragon'."

"The answer to your second question, although it was not stated in the request sent by Theocracy, because of the strange request, I investigated with my connections and found out that not only this guild but all the other large guilds under Theocracy were given such requests. The aim was to find out if anyone had the same powers as God, and whether they would come to Earth."

"As you know, the Demon God came to this world 400 years ago, and 200 years ago the Great Gods came. Therefore, the Authorities of Theocracy thought that there was a slight chance of a being with the same power as the Gods coming to this world. This is probably why they sent such a request; however, it's just my speculation so it could be wrong. "

"But anyway, I need to report this to Theocracy. If they call for an audition, you and your party should also come with me to Theocracy."

"Understood."
