Chapter 16: DARK PRACTITIONER (ARCH) 3
"Thank you for your time, you've given me enough time to charge my attack, get ready, Elias!!!" Ken said as hee dashed towards Elias with all his got, buy Elias could still clearly read his movement, "Yes! Goodbye." Elias said as he zoomed past Ken with bullet speed slicing his body in two with his fingers.
"Now you, I guess I could try something on you." Elias said stretching his thumb out. "Exploding blood arrow."Elias said as a red beam of light shot out from his index finger exploding in point of contact with Bill who was too slow to even react.
"Now all I have to do is wait for your master and let the real fun begin." Elias said with a grim smile on his face as he blew his finger which was bringing out smoke. After waiting for few minutes, just when Elias got tired of waiting he saw an old man walking out from the shadows, he wore a long black robe and held a sword on his hand, with all pride he walked towards Elias.
"I'm guessing you're the one they call boss." Elias said with a curious look on his face. "Sure, I see your strength was not false, you disposed of them in less than two minutes and you didn't even break a sweat." Manpachi said to Elias who then laughed giving him a quick reply. "We both know that these two are nothing but absolute trash, even in my sleeps they would be no match for me." Manpachi smiled on hearing that as he got into a fighting stance with his hands on the hilt of the sword.
"I'm afraid they never really told me what class you were in." Manpachi said to Elias who then repeated the answer he gave Bill and Ken. "No, you got me wrong, I mean in your cultivation." Manpachi said with a slight hint of frustration on his voice...."oh, well I'll only tell you once you've answered my question, how did you know and became a dark practitioner?"Elias asked as the old man laughed.
"Back in the days, I used to be an archeologist, well not until I stumbled upon a treasure chest, in the chest were three things, a manual abou Dark practitioners and how to start cultivating, the second was this sword, for all I know even I'm not close to using one tenth of its powers as I couldn't rune the ancient rune, then the last object is a prophecy on one who would bring the world to it's kneels, and I'm afraid the item I took was supposed to be for thet person, do dice IRS with me, I'll assume the name of the dark Lord and bring the prophecy to reality." Manpachi said to Elias who the smiled.
"I'm not one to boast but the sword belongs to me, you see there's already a prophecy on me being a forbidden child, so when I defeat you I'm afraid I'll be taking the sword." Elias said with a grim on his face as he stretched his hand. "In terms of raw power, there's no doubt that I'll loose to you s hundred times, but as far as I wield this weapon on my hand, then the tides turn against you, give me your best shot." Manpachi said with a wry smile on his face.
"All right I'll give it to you, but not here,, follow me to your death."Elias said moving at a bullet speed two times faster than sound. "What a naive boy, HYAAAHHHH" Manpachi said as he threw his sword as far as he could with all his strength making it move only slightly slower than sound, he had used a skill to link himself with the blade thereby appearing where the sword was as he continued the process till he finally caught up to Elias in a mountain far away from any human habitation.
"Come at me with everything you've got and I'll show you the power of my sword." Manpachi said to Elias holding the sword firmly with two hands. "It seems you depend solely on my sword, I wonder what we'll happen if I were to take it from you, anyways it would be no fun as I want to see the full extent to this blade one tenth power." Elias said shooting an exploding blood arrow at Manpachi who simply swung his sword st it redirecting the arrow back at Elias which exploded right in his face.
"I DID NOT EXPECT THAT"Elias said walking out from the smokescreen that was created due to the explosion of the arrow. "I see, it has the ability to redirect attacks, let's check to what extent." Elias said as he stretched hand up as ten tennis size ball of blood appeared in the air, with a snap of his finger they shout out exploding blood arrow at a rapid rate that Manpachi could hardly keep up with, which eventually ended up in his defence being by passed as the arrows collided with his body with each each exploding simultaneously.
"Damn IT!!!!!"Manpachi said stabbing the ground with his sword as it releases a violent red light that spread through all directions disabling all energy for three seconds, and at that time the overcoat that Elias wore had changed back to it's cape form which made Elias confused as it was actually able to negate the energy of the cape.
During that moment of thought for Elias, He attacked by swinging his sword diagonal as it left a cut mark on Elias body that barely passed his skin. "The sword was able to penetrate my blood aura, now that's interesting, let's see other interesting abilities of this blade."Elias said as his fist was covered with blood red energy, he decided to go for the melee combat as he traded blows with sword, he was fast enough to dodge the attacks of the blade since Manpachi was pretty slow for Elias, all that Elias had to watch out for was the blade he held firmly on his hand, Elias touched Manpachi's chest gently leaving behind a blood print as he leaped backwards a bit, while at the air he shot a balloon foot ball sized ball of energy at Manpachi which he called dark bomb.
