Chapter 2: Chapter 2

'Oh shit.'

[ Welcome to the Witcher Universe]

'... I don't if I should be happy to be in a world where I can easily max out my Hunter and Fighter class, or angry that I can potentially be royally fucked by a roaming ArchGryffon.'

[Both?]

'Both, ok so what do I do?'

Bonus Objective 3:?

Reward: 100.000 XP, 10.000 GP, x1 Epic Gacha Token

--------------------------

' Gacha?'

[ You there wouldn't be a Gacha? GMA had to implement it after hundreds of Gamers lamented there not being one, basically based on the grade of gacha, you can get anything from its grade to something above it, nothing below, so an epic one can give you an epic, legendary, mythic, God reward]

'Got it, considering I have absolutely zero way of finding Ciri, I will have to look for Geralt, is there a map function?'

[ General map shows you where you are and another area around you, the minimum being a regional map and the maximum a continental map, the local map only shows you are where you have been]

Opening the General map I find out where I currently am and the nearest village I could visit to get some supplies.

While walking towards it I thought of something very important.

' How am I supposed to pay?'

[ That's something for you to figure out and for me to watch]

' Fuck you.'

Not having much of a choice I continue my walk towards the village, and when I reached the outskirts of it, my instincts scream at me for the incoming of something big.

[Luck Event triggered]

Rushing from the forest around the village an enormous bear covered in blood could be seen, dashing like a madman towards the village, the screams of the villagers could be heard from where I am.

Not wasting the opportunity to be seen as a hero I started dashing towards the bear while activating Sprint, spending 20 of my status points in Int to upgrade my mana pool.

' Where is my knife?'

[ Inventory, I already explained to you most functions of the system but you simply forgot]

' I didn't forget them... ok maybe I was excited and I forgot them.'

Calling out my inventory, I pull out the Chef Tony knife and readied myself for the battle.

" HEY, SHITHEAD OVER HERE," I shouted towards the bear to attract its attention.

Surprisingly, it worked.

Stopping its run towards the village it instead runs towards me.

Wanting to practice my parry perk I pick out a random rock and waited for the perfect opportunity.

And just like for the Big zombie, the bear got parried and fell on his ass stunned for a few seconds.

Not wasting the opportunity I activated Mana strike, which boosts my damage by (based damage)+(2*skill level), so a fucking lot if boosted by the already ridiculous damage boost of a parry.

Grabbing both sides of his mouth I started pulling my arms muscles flexing to their max and my clothes were torn apart from the sheer strength behind such an action.

When I heard the crack coming from the bear's mouth I continued pulling until its lower mouth was the thing left on my hand.

Just to be sure I then plunged my knife right into its now visible mouth straight to its brain, killing it on the spot.

Once again covered in blood I ponder if I should store the bear in my inventory but I have pulled away from my thoughts from the voices of the villagers coming towards me.

" Everything is s-" Before I could finish I find a pitchfork pointed towards me plus some torches lit up, do they think I am scared of fire?

" I would think before pointing a pitchfork towards a fellow human, not everyone reacts well to these types of scenarios," I said while pulling down the hood of my clothing.

" Shit, and here I thought we could have stripped a witcher, what do you want?" The one holding the pitchfork asked.

Oh right, 90% of the population in the Witcher Universe are straight-up pieces of shit, if they treat me like this why not scare the shit out of them?

Ignoring him I store the body of the Bear inside my inventory, the changes in the faces of the villagers were priceless.

" Put that fucking down, he is a Mage." One of the guys holding a torch said to the man in front of me, his voice nearly turning to a stutter at the revelation.

Not wasting more time he puts the fork away and began speaking.

" I- I am sorry sir, I wasn't aware of you being a mage, if I had known I would have never-"

" Enough, I want a place to sleep and some food, if I am satisfied I might not kill everyone in this village."

The perfect way to scare bastards? Be a bigger Bastard.

.

.

.

After getting out of the wooden bathtub I change my clothes to the wool clothes and leather shoes offered by the villagers, my previous clothing in shambles and covered in blood.

Finally sitting on the bed made of straw, I think back to the things I had asked the villagers to bring to me.

' A map, extra clothes, food that can last for a long, and information about where Geralt of Rivia was last seen, between all of this food might be the hardest for them.'

Sighing I ponder if I should sleep or not, am I sure those bastards will try something while I am asleep so it's better to stay awake and study my system.

[ Since you have finally found a moment of peace I will show you a notification that I have blocked until now.]

--------------------------

Happy with the outcome I take out the bear I had killed and using my knife I try and take the parts that I knew could be used for potions, eyes, organs, and some specific muscles, but just to be sure I also stored the bones and the remaining meat in case I ever run out of food.

[ New Skill: Dismembering]

' Now, where can I get a mortar?'
