Not only the third young master perished at his hands, but he was even able to bring down Zhang Bu who was a nine star battle apprentice and the strongest after elder Zhang Zhan. It was only now that the members of the Zhang clan realised how dangerous this person was.
If they had gone hunting for him believing the words of the clan, they would be lying dead and joined the third young master and the others by now.

Zhang Zhan picked himself up and looked at Yang Chen with a stupefied gaze.
"That skill... it can't be [Battle Fervour]? You!! Where did you get that skill?" rather than stabilising his wounds, he pointed at the opponent and roared.
After fighting with Yang Chen, Zhang Zhan was able to somewhat identify the skill the former used. Their Zhang clan after all, also had a similar skill called the [Battle Fervour] that similarly increased a person's strength for a short period of time.
From what he could see, the changes that had occurred to Yang Chen was very much similar to their Zhang clan's most treasured skill.
Seeing that Yang Chen did not answer him, Zhang Zhan naturally understood where he got that skill from.
"The third young master should have been practising this skill in preparation for the upcoming entrance test to the Holy Orchard Academy. I see, you must have taken that skill from his body".

However, it only passed through their afterimage that was left behind, the latter had already moved from the place and appeared behind Zhang Zhan.
Wind enveloping his legs, Yang Chen delivered a powerful kick at Zhang Zhan's abdomen who turned around at the last second and barely protected himself with some battle energy.

Yang Chen mocked, he didn't like the way this person was talking down to him. Their ancestor created this skill and only the Zhang clan can practice it? What nonsense.
Yang Chen might have come across the [Battle Fervour] skill from that scroll on Zhang Wei; however, that skill was flawed and was actually derived from another. The real name of the skill should be the First Change of the Nine Brilliant Mysterious Change as per the [Shop].
If anything that [Battle Fervour] skill was the rip off of his secret art and not the other way around.
"You dare to mock my ancestor… bastard I'll kill you" Zhang Zhan flared.

'Huh?!' At this moment, he heard the notification from the system. To his surprise, the Greedvil system recognised his actions as evil.
'Does it mean that I also get points for verbally aggravating someone?' Yang Chen felt like he had found another way of earning points. He had simply mocked the other party but he was awarded mischief points for it.
"Yes, you do. Any action that can be seen as wicked, whether verbal or physical will reward you points. Though there are some requirements and parameters in play. But this is not the time to discuss such things right now. Focus on your enemy"
"You only have a minute or so before the duration of the secret art ends. Quickly finish this before it gets ugly. Remember, once the duration of the first change ends, your body will receive a severe backlash and you will experience extreme pain. You won't be able to move during that time much less be in any condition to fight"
Amon from the side reminded him of his predicament.
It was as the demon had said, Yang Chen needed to finish this fast. He activated his [Wild Revolution Steps] and for the first time since the fight started, he was going on the offensive. He appeared in front of zhang zhan and slashed using the ability of his sword [Flame Slash].
"Aaarrggghhh!!!" his opponent tried to counter it with those claws of his but just like the last time, his claws were shattered and his hands burnt.
Zhang Zhan fell back after suffering yet another setback. Although their power level was currently equal, Yang Chen had the support of the two star sword Flame Expelling Sword and its ability the [Flame Slash]. Whereas he didn't have any.
Due to this, whenever he clashed head on, he was the one repeatedly suffering injuries.
