Chapter 17: 17 21st Martial Arts Tournament (1)
During past few months, the strength of Luke and girls have grown up greatly. The power level of them is
Luke - 150,000
Shuna - 80,000
Shion - 120,000
Hinata - 56,000
When, Hinata reached 10,000 power level, Luke got another random invitation card which is still kept in his System Backpack.
The 21st Martial Arts Tournament was about to begin, so Luke and girls sat on a plane and flew towards the venue. They reached there, booked rooms in hotel and began waiting for others.
Yamcha was first to come with Puar. He kept his distance from them as he was still uncomfortable with getting near girls.
Soon, Son Goku and his group arrived. He came with Master Roshi,a young baldhead and a blue haired girl.
"Goku, long time no see, how are you doing and who are they ?" Bulma came to their group and asked while greeting Son Goku.
"Bulma, I have been training with grandpa Roshi and have become a lot stronger than before. This is Krillin, who worshiped grandpa Roshi as teacher with me and this is Launch, who lives with us on Turtles Island." Son Goku replied and introduced them to Bulma.
"Are also going to participate ?" Sone Goku asked when he saw Luke coming to greet them. Although Luke and girls hardly made a move during last journey but Son Goku still found that they were stronger than him.
"No, this time only Hinata will participate. Rest of us will cheer for you all." Luke denied Son Goku and also introduced Hinata to them.
They walked towards the registration table while talking about things that happen in past months.
Soon, preliminary round was over and top 8 were selected. They were Son Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Hinata, Namu, Giran, Ranfan and Master Roshi disguised as Jackie Chan.
Perhaps because of change in people in top 8, the lottery results were a lot different from original story.
The games of top 8 are
Krillin vs Yamcha
Son Goku vs Giran
Jackie Chan vs Namu
Hinata vs Ranfan
After a round of exchanges, Krillin won the first match with Yamcha. Yamcha's strength has increased from before but he was no match for Krillin who was training under tutelage of Master Roshi.
The next two matches were over quickly as both Son Goku and Jackie Chan were much stronger than their opponents. Master Roshi gave Namu a extra large capacity Capsule to fill it with water to save his village.
Next, Hinata and Ranfan came to the stage and stood opposite to each other. Rannfan saw that Hinata appeared very nervous before the match. She tried to take advantage of it and attacked her psychologically.
"You are just a little girl, this tournament is not for you. Look at you being so nervous that I doubt whether you can even display your full strength." Ranfan kept trash talking and tried to make Hinata surrender.
"Is Hinata ok ? She doesn't seem to feel good." In the audience seats, Shuna looked worried.
"Don't worry, she isn't that weak. It's just that her personality is a bit weak, so needs some tempering. It's not like you don't know her power." Shion denied Shuna and Luke also nodded from the side.
"The reason I let Hinata participate in this tournament was also to strengthen her psychology. Look she recovered." Luke pointed towards the stadium and girls also focused their attention back to the match.
"So little girl surrender quickly, I have prepare for next match." Rannfan was about to continue when she heard Hinata saying something.
"No I won't surrender. There are people who are cheering for me. They had taken care of me who was weak at that time. I am not god at expressing my thoughts and often can't talk well to others but they are never impatient with me." Hinata stopped being nervous, raised her head and her whole momentum changed as she continued.
"There is a gentle big sister" She looked towards Shuna.
"A carefree big sister" Looking towards Shion.
"A intellectual big sister" Bulma found her looking towards her.
"And a gentle big brother cheering for me, I won't disappoint them." She finished her sentence after taking a last glance at Luke and streched her plam towards Ranfan and threw her off the stage.
The audience cheered for the girl on the stage and after a while she came down the stage, it's just that her steps were more confident than from before.
"This girl is very powerful." Master Roshi judged from the momentum Hinata excluded on the stage and sighed looking towards his disciples and Luke's group. "Now is the time of young people."
