Chapter 25: Youkai of The Byakko
"Ragnar, Welcome to your mindscape..." The Byakko In front of Ragnar said as Ragnar looked at the Four meter tall tiger with unbelieving eyes.
'Am I in a dream or something?' Ragnar asked himself, the Byakko Infront of Ragnar answered him.
"No you're not, like I said we are in your mind." The Byakko said as he chuckled at Ragnar's shocked expression.
"To put it more clearly, I am the Youkai, The spirit inside of the Fruit you ate." The Byakko said to Ragnar.
"So you are the "Devil"?" Ragnar asked.
"Technically I am. And I am the avatar of the Byakko that you transformed into moments ago." The youkai of the Byakko replied.
"Then the reason why I cannot access the hybrid is-" Ragnar was interrupted by the Youkai of the Byakko.
"because we need to combine ourselves?" The youkai completed the sentence for Ragnar, Ragnar was shocked because The Byakko youkai said what he was going to say just moments ago.
"How di-" Ragnar was interrupted again.
"Did you read my mind?" The youkai completed the sentence for him.
"The answer to your first question is that we are already combined, my soul had blended into your soul yesterday, while you were unconscious, I am a part of you and that is the reason why I can predict what you are going to say." The youkai Answered.
"Then Why cannot I transform into my hybrid form then? Ragnar asked the Youkai.
"There is no easy way to obtain power. Be thankful human, I allowed you to access a portion of my power, to Obtain your hybrid form, the ability to combine my avatar and your body, The ability to fully transform into my true form you must defeat me first." The white Tiger youkai glowed in a white light as blue ribbons of lightning appeared around the back and neck of the Giant tiger and hiss eyes glowed a shining white colour, Lightning appeared along its body as The King of beast's and the true form of Byakko was revealed to Ragnar.
"If you say so, I am not backing down without a fight." Ragnar said as he pulled out Sigyn from its sheath.
The youkai charged at Ragnar with it's full power as Sigyn blurred into eight different identical swords.
"Eight Swords, thirty-two strikes." Ragnar Used the second version of his Eight Swords techniques and managed to send thirty-two slashes at the youkai.
The youkai had already seen ahead and dodged the fast moving attack. 'This human, He is the strongest one I've ever met.' He mentally thought as he charged up an attack.
Wind and lightning Swirled around The youkai as Ragnar Charged up his haki around the tip of his sword, this is his first time using this attack and hopes to use the attack to successfully defeat the giant youkai in one hit.
"Blue streak." The youkai announced as blue lighting covered his white and black striped body. With unreachable speeds, the youkai moved forward.
"Dismantling sweep." Just as the youkai was a couple of meters away from hitting Ragnar, Ragnar announced the attack's name. With a boom, the haki strored concentrated in the tip of the blade was released at once, in a Slicing motion, the attack hit the youkai but the youkai also got a good hit at Ragnar. The attack hit the youkai right in the neck and For Ragnar, it was right in the gut.
It was inside Ragnar's mind, therefore no one was physically hurt. They felt pain from the injury but no wound to show it.
"I...*pants* Defeated you...*Pants*" Ragnar pointed Sigyn at Byakko who was still on the ground in pain from Ragnar's attack.
A few moments later, Byakko was able to talk correctly after the hit to the neck.
"Ragnar D. Sabre... You have proved your strength to me, you are worthy of my strength... I hope you use it and keep my honour." The Youkai slowly faded away from Existence, but Ragnar knew that Byakko didn't die, he just completely merged with Ragnar's soul, The Byakko is now a part of him.
