Chapter 13: Chapter 13 Escape by luck
In the midst of the forest, a man and a snake were locked in a tense stare-down. The snake's eyes blazed with fury as it glared at john, who stood his ground and didn't flinch even a little bit.
It was like watching a high-stakes showdown between two wild creatures, and it was anyone's guess who would emerge victorious.
"Ah, you've got some nerve coming back here, little snake," John said with a grin, cracking his knuckles.
As john got closer to the snake, it remained still and continued to stare at me with fierce eyes.
"Hahaha" John laughed like maniac as he got closer to the snake.
Just as John was about to grab it by the neck to bully it again, a large shadow suddenly enveloped both me and the snake.
The sound of hissing was so intense and terrifying that john immediately turned around and was shocked to see a huge anaconda, one that I thought only existed in myths.
"Looks like you called a big one" John said, eyeing the smaller snake.
"No wonder you're feeling so brave."
The anaconda, swing it's tail to hit John chest.
With lightning-fast reflexes, John managed to defend himself from the anaconda's attack by using his spear.
The impact was so powerful that it sent him flying, and he hit a nearby tree, coughing up blood as he struggled to catch his breath.
"You picked the wrong guy to mess with!" John yelled as he regained his balance wiping the blood from his mouth with using his hand.
With my high reflexes, I evaded the anaconda's attacks using my technique [Shadow Walk].
The ground shook as the giant serpent's strikes missed their target. I closed in on the beast, swinging my spear and landing in its tail.
The tip of my spear shattered against the anaconda's scales, which were harder than rock.
The recoil from the hit broke the spear, leaving it useless. I dropped the broken weapon and took a fighting stance, I raised my fists in preparation for the next attack.
As the anaconda opened its mouth to show its sharp fangs, I jumped with all my strength to dodge it.
Using one of my techniques, [Tiger Fist], I hit its head while I was above it.
But to my surprise, it didn't even leave a scratch on the anaconda's tough skin.
My hands were full bruised and swollen from just one punch.
"These is one tough, snake no wonder this animals is already extinct" I said in a dilemma.
John continued to go around in circles, trying to find an opening.
John then continued to fight the anaconda for a while, using all of his martial arts skills and techniques.
However, no matter what he tried, he couldn't seem to inflict any damage on the massive serpent.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the anaconda managed to gain the upper hand. It caught John off guard with a swift and powerful tail strike, sending him tumbling to the ground.
"Pftt" as John coughed up with blood.
John tried to get back up, but the anaconda wrapped itself around john , constricting his body and squeezing him tight.
"Hmmhpp" John grunt in pain.
Despite his best efforts, John couldn't break free from the anaconda's deadly embrace. He struggled and fought with all his might, but in the end, it was no use.
The snake was simply too strong and too powerful.
Just when it seemed like all was lost, a sudden gust of wind blew through the jungle, causing the branches and leaves to rustle and shake.
The disturbance was enough to startle the anaconda, who released its grip on John and slithered away into the underbrush bringing the little snake.
Panting and bruised, John lay on the ground for a few moments, trying to catch his breath. He couldn't believe he had come so close to being killed by the massive serpent.
"Don't tell me it's because, I'm such a bully" I though inwardly.
But at least for now, I was still alive. So its good.
"I can't believe I'll die here," John muttered as he felt his consciousness slipping away.
Its the last words john spoke before finally losing consciousness.
