Chapter 17: Cultivating in the river
He wanted to venture further to check if there were any miraculous treasures similar to the lake.
However, he gave up on the idea and returned. He had yet to stabilize his body after the progress.
After his return, he immediately resumed his cultivation. He didn't forget to check the system shop regularly.
It took him a whole year to make a breakthrough.
"I have spent 5000 Evo purchasing abilities. However, only 'water blade' has made progress." His 'water blade' had reached the major level.

After flying a further 100 km, he came to a halt.
He could see a lot of beasts on the ground. The weakest of them was at the peak level of the mutation realm. However, what made him stop were the beasts that were flying ahead.
He didn't have to worry about the strength of beasts on the ground, since he could just fly away. However, beasts that could fly were another story.
He decided to make his retreat in a hurry.
He flew back 50 km. Then, he decided to make a resting place for himself in that area.
Qi in the area was less abundant than in the deeper region. But, it was still 5 times more than his house back in the forest. So, he decided to cultivate there.
He started absorbing Qi like a hungry beast. The Qi then would be deposited into his crystals.
His second crystal was full after a month of absorbing Qi. However, his first crystal was still below half. It was like a bottomless pit.
It took him another 4 months to fill up his first crystal, and he could finally make his breakthrough.
He had reached the 6th level of the mutation realm. However, he didn't fly away after the breakthrough. It was a perfect opportunity, and he would not waste such an opportunity.
So, he began consolidating his cultivation and when he was done, he would further cultivate for the next breakthrough.
It would take him ten months to break through this time.
Now, he had reached the 7th level of the mutation realm.
Immediately, he started concentrating his Qi to form the last crystal.
It had a similar color to the second crystal after it was done.
"Now, where should I find the third element."
He couldn't hunt for the element here, there were two problems.
First, hunting here would be like committing suicide. The beasts were very strong and even if he managed to kill one, it may attract the attention of other beasts.
Second, he already had a water element and there were only beasts with water abilities here.
So, there is no point in staying here any longer. He decided to fly back to his home.
He would make further plans once he had returned.
