Chapter 57: Needed Discipline

It took a few hours before Mark was done pondering over Elena's outburst coupled with two short meetings he attended at Luxumoon.

While leaving the second meeting room, he pulled out his phone from his pants pocket and walked ahead while pulling out Elena's contact. Placing a call, he returned his gaze to the path before him.

The phone at the other end rang and rang for a while, but no one picked up.

"Is she actually ignoring my calls?" Mark mumbled to himself. He seemed to be in disbelief but then again, while would he be shocked when he already knew that Elena was capable of that attitude?

Maybe he didn't think she would dare to treat him that way.

Mark was in a dilemma. He needed some sort of explanation from Elena. He wanted to know what he did or said that was so wrong because honestly, he never meant to insult her.
