ATLAST at peace.... I am falling... not knowing my destination into the abyss of darkness...ssss....but wait_ _ why it feels like I am surrounded by warm currents of light. And I am unable to open my eyes, Am I dead or not. What is happening my mind is in total chaos....thinking multiple scenarios in a second.
But one thing for sure I am most afraid of is...being alive....I don't want to live within my small world which now woven with thorns of hatred and hatred only....no one loves me anymore...
If I am alive it simply means I AM DOOMED FOR ETERNITY.....without any friends and family. Even if I confess to Lan Zhan it is impossible to be with him...to love him or be loved by him. I can't imagine him with someone else, I can't see him showing the same ache, concern and yearning which was the last view I took with me. I am shattered but I can may recollect myself to just have a glimpse of him someday...but if I come across something like that (him being with someone else) will be lost forever...
For the very first time I hope the death to complete their mission to take me with them....and not to betray me again.
Suddenly the warm current from my temple started to flow into my body. I gained a little strength and opened my eyes to white light everywhere and I found I am lying near an angel. Who is sending energy to me with concentration. I think he has been doing this for a long period of time as I can witness the sweat beads on his head. But what I was unable to understand is 'where am I'.
As If knowing what is going through my head, he looked at me and smiled. Then I realized that I am staring at him for a long long time. He have ethereal beauty, bronze skin which is glowing, his eyes are dark voilet in color and pupil looks like as if it is replaced by a star. It keep swirling from time to time and spreading the sparks to the voilet zone of eyes. It felt like hope and serenity. I came out of daze when he call me "Child I am here to grant you a wish".
It took me a second to understand that we are here to talk about something meaningful. I replied with "mhmmm" then I asked the question which was revolving in my mind since I woke up. I asked him " Am I dead". He gave me a sympathetic look. (ok I understand I am). Then he spoke " No my child you didn't just die you dissipated....but don't worry I have taken care of it and your future life will be good you....".
"Wait what future...what do you mean by future am I not dead already. How can I have a future. Wait don't tell me I am going to be born as fruit of lan zhans shenanigans....well I will be more handsome for sure but I am not interested or am I going to be born as jiang cheng's child....no not, I can't even imagine that. I don't wish to know about my future parents and their will be no cute lan zhan to pester or play with. How can I be happy without lan zhan(with pouty face).
The angel laughed at me as if I am telling a joke. (But believe me its not a joke.. not at all.) Then he said "you will be living a happy life with lan zhan." I hesitantly asked "What about jiang cheng and others will they... accept me?"
Angel again gave me that guilty constipated look. I don't think there's a need to do that you can just speak "no"... well that hurt. He spoke"But you have a wish... that can either take you to future make them love you by forgetting what you didn't/ did wrong Or you can return to past..I can give you a chance to save your loved ones. But going to past distrupt the flow of time.For that you have to pay the price.....WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE WEI YING".
Something feels off wait " If I return to the past what happen to this time line". Again with that ugly look he said" You will be erased from this timeline my child." Now I can understand how it is necessary to gift good looks to good people...this man is straight forward cruel, with that handsome face(wasted on him).
"What kind of shit you are speaking what is the use of these fucking chocies and this useless wish...instead I would ask for endless supply of emperor's smile or lan zhan's infinite never stopping kisses(ahh that would be best) or I can ask to change jiang cheng's gender( internally giggling). The choices you are giving me are totally absurd".
But internally I thought how I can't consider the choice where I can save my shijie.But can I really trust this person. I was lost in thought when the voice of angel approached my ear drum with enticing offer " There is one other option for you, but I don't know if you are going to like it". He saw me being eager...he continued " This is a good one but you you have to pay a bigger price for it do you want to listen about it my child." I nod, getting the cue he spoke " I can let the present you to return to your past self's dream and left some clues to follow without leaving the details about what going to happen..".
"I can sense there is a but coming". I retorted cutting him midway. He just smiled and started speaking again to elaborate " but you can do so only once, leave only 13 clues. And you have only one chance at this, while doing so your younger self must be sleeping.....as you know, no one dream like that with open eyes i.e. reach to connection of conscious and subconscious mind. You understand right"? I nod again and asked what is there to loose then.
He became serious for the first time while explaining " If you reveal anything about future while doing so. You will be lost forever in time and abyss of nightmares and darkness. Some events in life can never be changed like you becoming demonic cultivator.....and here comes the price you have to pay, since you have no core and I have spent a lot of energy on you, we have to work together.
While I use my core energy you have to use your cultivation energy in sink to go to your past self dream. But doing so some of your energy will be received by your past self. Which may not affect his core but take him early to the journey to become demonic cultivator. I know you think that, it is your demonic cultivation that leads to chaos....but deep down you know it was never you nor your cultivation its the human greed and you was the only salvation.
This choice will not distrupt your future and you will continue being the part of this time line...
means you live a happy life with the one you love here and
at the same time you will get the chance to save the ones you loved before.
If everything goes well, both time lines will merge and the ones... who were lost will be found again happy and alive....to never be part...NOW MAKE THE CHOICE WEI YING.....in this abyss of different possibilities".
