Chapter 32: Chapter 31: Virgin body in danger
Shen Yun banged the table in anger. "How dare you call my son crippled?"
"I was talking about a possibility, not reality." She stated clearly.
The little girl who had brought her here- Li Luo, had been eavesdropping on their conversation from the start. Hearing Kanae's words, her eyes filled up with crystal like tears. Even as a small girl, she had to undergo the problems and stress that came with an arranged marriage. After all, no one liked to be restrained.
Li Wei fell silent on hearing Kanae's words. Her words had struck a guilty chord inside him, making him reconsider his choice. Even Shen Yun mused on her words.
Just then, a boy no younger than Kanae, came running towards Shen Yun. "Father? Who's the person who stole my Luo'er?!"
Shen Yun scratched the back of his neck as he glanced at Kanae as an answer to his son's question.
His son- Sheng'er glared furiously at Kanae. He grabbed her by her collar and growled, "How dare you steal my woman?! Come to the training grounds, I'll teach you a lesson!"
Li Wei quickly separated them. He had no problems with Sheng'er beating Kanae up, but currently Kanae was their guest. He couldn't ignore that fact.
From the looks of it, Shen Yun understood and strictly spoke to Sheng'er, "Calm down son. You can't do that. This brat doesn't even have any mana. He's not worth it!"
Kanae paused.
'System, can they not detect my mana?'

Kanae was overjoyed and disappointed at the same time. This complicated things but also made her seem meek.
And as expected, the kid didn't shut up.
"I don't care! I want to beat this ba*tard up!" He roared.
"You can't, he saved this master's granddaughter. With me here, you aren't allowed t-" Li Wei was interrupted by Kanae.
"What did you just call me?" She asked Sheng'er in a steely manner.
He swallowed and said, "I called you a bastard! So what?!"
She stepped on his toe, making him yelp in pain. "Training grounds. Now."
Li Wei and Shen Yun exchanged nervous looks. Even though this person in front of them had no mana, they had a feeling that he was not as simple as he seemed.
"Very well. I look forward to beating you up." Sheng'er sneered.
"Wait!" A voice cried out in alarm. "It's not his fault! You don't have to fight. I'll marry Master Sheng'er." In front of Kanae stood Li Luo, her eyes red rimmed.
Sheng'er looked hurt as he said, "Luo'er, for him you would-??!"
"I just don't want unnecessary problems." She spoke back, not looking him in the eye.
At this, Kanae pushed Luo away from her. "Get out. This is my problem not yours. If you act like this, you won't be able to live life."
Li Luo looked at Kanae with wide eyes.
Seeing Luo act familiarly with Kanae, Sheng'er grew angrier and immediately dragged Kanae to the training grounds.
A weeping Luo clung to her grandfather, begging him to save Kanae, but he could only shake his head in dismay.
Shen Yun simply kept watching both of them.
None of them noticed the figure of a woman, who had slid in while the others looked at the training grounds. "Kanae? What is she doing here?" The figure spoke softly in surprise.
Meanwhile, in the training grounds, Sheng'er's aura turned blue and the air around him sizzled.
"Good god! He's actually so strong! That too at such a young age! He's certainly your son, Master Shen." Li Wei laughed heartily.
Shen Yun smiled, pleased.
A smirk spread across Sheng'er's face as he dashed towards Kanae fast. She hadn't even put up any defenses.
'System, use skill Truth. Change the reality to his power being mine.'

Just as Sheng'er reached Kanae, she punched out reflexively.
*Bam*
With a thud, Sheng'er fell to the ground, blood oozing from his mouth, a small hole on his stomach. He vomited blood out, his eyes tearing up.
"....." Li Wei and the others were shocked. Sheng'er had been defeated with just a punch? No way!
Kanae simply gazed at her hand and walked towards Sheng'er. With a glint in her eye, she stomped on his stomach saying, "Next time, think a hundred times before you dare insult my parents."
Sheng'er trembled in fear and nodded quickly.
Kanae took her foot away and walked out of the grounds.
A shocked Li Wei said, "Master! When should I arrange yours and Luo'er's marriage?"
"How shameless! Master, why do you want to make my benefactor your grandson-in-law?" A light voice rang out from behind them.
Li Wei looked back in shock, "Disciple? Is that you?"
Miao's pretty face looked irritated as she stared at the old man.
"Disciple?" Kanae mumbled.
So this old foggy was Miao's master?
Kanae's eyes twitched.
A few moments later, Kanae found herself sitting in a room with a drunk woman.
Kanae kicked the woman, who was now clinging to her leg. "This brother here, why won't you indulge in a sweet affair with this Big sister? Is this Big sister not pretty enough?" The woman asked, puckering her plump and soft pink lips.
Kanae had enough. She had always been careful to treat girls, but this woman had gone too far.
She aggressively yanked the woman's face and slightly applied pressure, "Just who are you calling brother? I'm a girl, a full fledged one for that matter."
The woman only laughed and twined her hands around Kanae's neck. "You don't have to lie. This sister knows everything. Even if you lie, your body cannot."
Wordlessly, Kanae grabbed the woman's hand and put it inside her shirt. "Feel this? Does this by any chance feel like a man's chest?"
To Kanae's shock and disgust, the woman started kneading her chest with her hand, muttering "So soft." She laid her head against Kanae's chest.
Petrified, Kanae moved back one to two meters away from the woman, after slapping off her hand. 'Holy Choco Chips! Something is wrong with this woman. My virgin body is in danger with her around.'
Kanae wrapped her arms around her chest protectively. 'Why on Earth did I even put her hand inside? I could have put it outside... No, my chest is so flat that she couldn't even feel it.' Kanae knelt down in depression.
