Chapter 2: Monsters Of The Surface
Minora was the smallest country in the continent. It sat in the northwest between the Margrave Empire, Glavis Kingdom, the Northern Ocean and the Northern Region.
The kingdom was created by the seven minor Monster clans when they decided that living alone was too dangerous. They came together and formed a country for themselves. The capital city was named Nora.
"A meeting, and with all the Monster clans on the surface no less. What are you planning?" Ash asked as he stood up.
"You will know in two days time." This was all I could say for now. It would be better if I told them after the clans had arrived.
Ash asked the three Wolf leaders to get their fastest riders to deliver the letters I wrote to the leaders of each clan.
The area Monsters stayed on the surface was known as the Northern Region. Monsters have occupied that region for as long as most people can remember.
The region was in the far north of the continent with only the Northern Ocean further north of it. The region was split into eight by each major Monster clan as they decided to rule alone.
Ash and Aisha began to prepare to house the clans that were bound to arrive in two days time. They were sure no one would turn a blind eye to the summons from a Royal family member.

The next day in the Vampire clan's city.
The rider Ash sent had arrived and delivered the letter. A vampire who seemed to be a guard was taking the letter to the city leader.
The guard walked down a hallway then got to a door. The large door opened upon its own. The guard walked through the door entering a large hall room with no windows. The room was mostly dark. The only light came from a chandelier attached to the ceiling.
Three large chairs sat at the far end of the room. Seated on the chair to the right was a man. He stood up, walked to the guard and collected the letter. Then he passed it to a woman seated in the middle.
She collected it. Opened it. And read it. "Hmph, it seems Jordan has arrived at the Wolves city." The woman mentioned.
The woman in the middle was a Lisa, a Pureblood Vampire. She was the younger sister of the Vampire Queen. She, like Jordan, had been tasked with leading the Vampire clan's city.
The man who received the letter was Liam, Lisa's younger brother. While the woman seated to the left was Lia. Lia was the youngest sibling. The three of them ruled together.
Lisa was a twenty one year old woman with black hair and red eyes. Lisa was a tall woman with a strong build and pale skin. Liam was twenty years old and a little immature. He has red eyes, black hair and pale skin also, but was tall. Lia was nineteen. She also has red eyes, black hair, pale skin and was slender. Even though she was the youngest, she was composed and mature.
"Jordan is here, that nice." Lia said. She was unable to hide the happiness that escaped her voice. The Royal Monster families lived together in the Underground Tower. So all of the princes and princesses of the Royal family grew up together as friends and rivals.
"Just arrived and he's already calling a meeting of all the clans." Lisa continued.
"Hmm, that's so like Jordan." Lia said with a smile. Jordan was known by all everyone as the slothful prince. It was a nickname given to him by his younger sister.
But only the people closest to him knew him well. They knew what kind of person he really was.
"So are we going?" Liam asked facing Lisa.
"Of course. When last have we had a meeting of all the clans, this could be something important and fun."
"Alright, I'll get everything ready." Liam said as he left smiling.

Meanwhile, in the city of Nora. The rider had also arrived and delivered the letter.
The city of Nora was big and beautiful. With the King's castle in the middle of the city.
In the castle. The Ogre King, Klaus, whose family was chosen to rule the nation since its birth, sat on his throne and received the letter. Tonia, the Queen, sat on a throne right beside her husband.
Their sons, Derek and Rudy, stood opposite them with the leaders of the other six clans in attendance. The Orc leader, Scott. The Goblin leader, Adrian. The Slime leader, Seth. The Dryad leader, Dina. And the Lich leader, Luke. The Lizardmen leader, Kris.
King Klaus was a well built man with brown hair and red eyes. He had a stern face but kind eyes.
"Oh, Prince Jordan has arrived and asked for a meeting of some sorts involving all the Monster clans." King Klaus announced to his hall in a loud voice that covered the room.
"Prince Jordan is the Wolf prince right?" Queen Tonia asked.
"Yes." King Klaus replied.
"So when do we leave?" Kris asked.
"As early as possible. We need to arrive there tomorrow. I need everyone present in this room to get ready to accompany me. I feel like something important will happen tomorrow." Klaus said and gave a soft laugh.

It had been two days since I arrived to the Wolf clan city. I had just woke up, even though it was already noon. The first thing in my mind was food, so I went to get some.
"Finally awake, sleepy head?" Ash said when I walked into the dining room yawning. "This is why people always called you the slothful prince back in the Tower." He said.
"No dummy. People called me that because I was really good at sleeping. It was my superpower. It still is."
"If you say so."
Ash and I immediately turned our head towards the window on the right side of the room. We felt something. A large presence approaching the city. Our guests had arrived.
"It seems our guests are here." Ash turned to me and asked. "Are you ready?"
"Yes. Get them ready in the main hall. I will join you all when I am done."

Fourteen carriages rolled into the large courtyard of the leader's manor.
The carriages carried the different leaders of the fourteen Monster clans here for the meeting Jordan had called them for. The clan leaders exited their carriages one by one.
The first carriage carried the three Vampire siblings. Lisa, Liam and Lia. The stepped down from their carriage and were greeted by Aisha, who led them into the main hall
The second carriage carried Mikey and his protectors, Trina, Tera and Tess. Mikey, a White Tiger and the second prince of the Tiger clan, was a twenty year old man who had also recently arrived on the surface and taken over as his clan's leader. He was a fun loving, immature but smart young man with short white hair and red eyes.
His protectors, Trina, a Black Tiger with black hair and red eyes. Tess, a Red Tiger with red hair and red eyes. And Tera, a Brown Tiger with brown hair and red eyes. Three of them were twenty-two years old. They walked side by side behind Mikey and followed him into the hall.
The third carriage carried the Phoenix clan's second princess. Willful, mischievous, immature and a little sassy. Her name was Dawn. She was the youngest sister to the Phoenix Queen. Dawn was a twenty year old woman with shiny red hair, and red eyes. Beautiful but always teased for being a little on the short side.
Accompanying her, were two women. Iris, a Blue Phoenix with light blue hair and red eyes. Daisy, an Green Phoenix with light green hair and red eyes.
The fourth carriage belonged to the Fox clan. Two women, one older and the other young, and two young men exited the carriage. The older woman was Anne. She was the aunt to the Fox Queen. Her elder sister was the Queen before she passed away. Now her nephew has become Queen.
Anne was a forty-five year old with white hair and red eyes. The young woman was her daughter, Arianne. A beautiful, twenty years old woman with white hair, red eyes and a slender body.
The men who followed were her brothers, Trent and Troy. Trent, a twenty-two year old with white hair and red eyes, Troy, a twenty-one year old with white hair and red eyes.
The fifth carriage carried the Spider clan's city leader. Her name was Lucy. Lucy was the younger sister of the Spider Queen. A thirty-six year old woman with black hair and red eyes. Beautiful and tall with a powerful presence. She was accompanied by Jade, Rose and Violet.
Jade, a twenty year old White Spider with white hair and red eyes. Rose, a twenty year old Red Spider with red hair and red eyes. And Violet, a twenty year old Purple Spider with purple hair, red eyes.
The sixth carriage belonged to the Magi clan. Three men came out in order. First, the leader of the Magi city, Roger. Roger was the uncle to the current Mage King. His elder brother had abdicated some years back. Roger was a seventy two year old with grey hair and red eyes.
The other two men were his twin sons, Rick and Nick. They were twenty-years old. Rick, huge and tall with grey hair and red eyes. He was the older of the twin. Nick has the same height as his brother but was more slender. He also has grey hair and red eyes.
The seventh carriage was for the Dragon Clan. Three men and two women came down. The first man was Ralph. The younger brother to the Dragon King. He thirty-two years. He has silver hair and red eyes. Ralph was the type of man who respected strength more than anything. He was a strict yet jovial man.
The men who followed him were Ace and Blaze. Ace was an Earth Dragon. Brown hair, red eyes, loyal and honest. Blaze was a Fire Dragon. Red hair, red eyes.
The women were Willow and Ariel. Willow was a Wind Dragon with green hair and red eyes. Ariel was a Water Dragon with blue hair and red eyes. The four of them were twenty years old.
The remaining seven carriages carried King Klaus and the leaders of the remaining six clans of Minora. Aisha welcomed them all and led them into the main hall.
