Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Quirk test
It was my 4th birthday right after we cut my cake, my parents took me to a hospital, they said it was to get me checked for a quirk, we made an appointment and waited with the other parents who were also there with their children.
An hour later our number was called and we
went through the white door leading to the testing lab.
"Did you feel something weird like a headache, pain in your body, or feeling like you were full of energy recently?"The doctor asked.
I replied with no by shaking my head.
He noted something down and then came up to me with a syringe in his hand.
"This will sting a bit"He said as he took some of my blood.
He told us to wait so we went outside and sat for an hour or two.Later when he called us to the room I had to admit I was a little excited to find out what my quirk was, since it was genetic I had a high chance of actually having a quirk,The doctor read the report.
"Your child is quirkless a-"
"What!?"My mom and dad yelled at the same time their voice laced with anger, disappointment and...disgust?
"Mr. and Mrs. Susumu please let me finish, your child is quirkless at least for now as he has not awakened his quirk but the stem cells in his body show signs of being active so it is possible he would awaken his quirk at a later date"He continued.
"How can you be so sure?"My dad asked in the same tone
"When a person's quirk awakens the stem cells in his body convert to fit the properties of the quirk, to explain, if a person awakened a regeneration quirk the cells in his body will show signs of healing at a rapid speed, and so on, since your child's stem cells don't appear to be motionless it is almost certain that he will awaken a quirk, this generally happens when the quirk is very powerful so the cells need time to adapt."The doctor explained
My parents practically lit up when he mentioned me having a powerful quirk leaving me puzzled, but I decided to ask them about it later.
After thanking the doctor we left the hospital all three of us in a good mood but undoubtedly my parents seemed more happy about me getting a quirk than me.
By the time we reached home it was dark so I had dinner and immediately went to sleep.
I dreamed of All might that night.

I know this chapter was a bit short but I wanted a chapter solely for the quirk test, I hope I explained it nicely I know I'm not the best at explaining but I hope you guys got the gist of it.
