Chapter 2: CHAPTER 2
Jang Dae Hyun strode elegantly into the company wearing an all black suit as always, with his usual straight face. He had reached the corridor to his office when he heard happy chatters of workers hovering over Mr Park Joo Ho.
'congratulations.' 'the baby is so pretty.' He heard them say and when he was about to quietly avoid them and go straight to his office, Chan Yeol called "Director! Our team leader just had a baby with his wife."
A cheery mid twenties, good looking young man said, Dae Hyun hated a person who poked nosed into others business making him dislike Chan Yeol a lot but the boy really admired him.
Dae Hyun halted in his steps and mechanically turned around, he walked towards Joo Ho.
"That's a wonderful news, congratulations." He said with a charming smile and turned to leave.
"You should hurry up and start a family, you're not getting any younger." Joo Ho a middle aged man said. Dae Hyun looked at him with a straight face in silence wondering how Joo Ho would feel if he mailed a part of his baby to him, making him almost grin wickedly, but he maintained a straight face still.
"He's probably looking for the right girl so don't rush him." So Ra a petite, pretty girl in her mid twenties said, she had liked Dae Hyun for quite some time and tried her best to make him notice her, but unfortunately, he didn't.
Dae Hyun gave a short smile without replying and turned his back to them and walked into his office. His smile dropped and a dark look appeared on his face.
He viewed people as boring and annoying, he hated socialising with them and liked his quiet time, nothing interested him anymore except of course killing people. He chuckled darkly at what Joo Ho told him, to settle down and have a family.
Growing up, his parents had always been scared of him because he exhibited behaviours that were uncalled for,at the age of eight, he killed their dog and when they asked him why he did that, he said the dog looked prettier when dead, they sent him to a psychologist and told them that they had to wait till he was old enough to examine if he had any mental problems.
They noticed how manipulative he was to people and at the age of fourteen he had set his classmate on fire because he had cursed at him. But of course no one found out since he was charming and smart and he murdered him discreetly but his parents suspected him.
His parents had noticed how much he hated socialising with people and how weirdly he behaved and their fear grew deeper when he told them he killed his classmate because he knew they would never tell the cops on him.
At eighteen, he was diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, and when his parents had tried to send him to a mental institution, he burned them inside the house and set it up to look like an accident, he was eighteen, so everything was perfect for him, his parents were loaded so he didn't have a problem financially.
Dae Hyun was working on his laptop when he heard a knock on the door, making him clench his sharp jaws in anger.
"come in." He said as he replaced his angry look with a calm one. So Ra stepped into the office meekly as she gave him a small smile.
"Sorry to disturb but I just wanted to ask if you'll come for a drink tonight with the team members to celebrate Mr Joo Ho's baby arrival, since we work in the same section." She said.
"Shouldn't he be helping his wife out with the baby rather than go home drunk to stress her?" He asked rhetorically with a plain expression. "Anyways I'm not going...I'm busy." He said completely uninterested. He watched her head lower in disappointment.
"You're always on your own and you never hang with anyone, why?" She asked and he chuckled lightly.
"I'm bad at socialising with people and I'm an introvert,sorry if you got the wrong idea of me." He said and her expression quickly changed.
"Then should we grab a drink whenever you're less busy?" She said cheerfully and a sweet smile crept on his handsome face.
"Sure, lets do that." He said and a grin appeared on her face. "You can pick the time and place." He said politely and she nodded, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear.
"OK. How about tomorrow evening, I'll text you the place." She said and he nodded in agreement. She went towards him and stretched her hands saying, "I don't have your number." She said and he handed her his phone and she punched her number into it and then dialed her phone number.
"Saved." She said obviously excited. He nodded and pushed his glasses slightly. He watched her walk away blushing and as soon as the door was shut closed, he rolled his eyes in exasperation. So Ra was so excited, she told her female colleagues she was going in a date with the hottest man in the compa y and their eyes gleamed with jealousy.
He prepared to exit for the day, on his way out, Chan Yeol called out, "Director!" The young man admired him for his intelligence and hard work in the company and tried to get to know him better to form a friendship.
Dae Hyun closed his eyes in frustration and when he opened it, a serene expression framed his face.
"Are you going home now? You should join us to drink with Mr park." He said cheerfully.
"Sorry but I have a lot to do." He said and continued walking away but Chan Yeol persisted and stood in front of him preventing him from leaving, this action really annoyed Dae Hyun but his expression was still calm.
"You're always busy, just one drink please.." Chan Yeol pleaded, Dae Hyun gave a small smile and said.
"Fine lets go." Chan Yeol thought he would be harder to convince but it was easy.
They all went to a nearby shop to drink, most females went because of Dae Hyun and So Ra had been by his side trying to force discussions that he replied patiently to, he made sure not to drink more than one glass and tried to avoid discussions as much as possible.
Everyone started leaving after the celebration was over and Dae Hyun went to wait for Chan Yeol at his car when he was sure that everyone had left.
Chan Yeol saw Dae Hyun waiting beside his car and a smile spread on his face.
"Sunbae." Chan Yeol called and Dae Hyun gave him a charming smile.
"I wanted to talk to you, can we talk in my car?" He asked with a sweet smile.
"Of course." He said and followed him into his car.
Dae Hyun locked the door which made Chan Yeol a bit startled.
"Don't you understand the word 'NO?'" Dae Hyun said with a dark expression which made Chan Yeol furrow his brows questioningly.
"What?" He asked clearly confused as he watched Dae Hyun put on black gloves and rushed over to him, with hands on his neck, immediately started strangling him while Chan Yeol tried to fight him off but it was useless on him, he tried to yell but only a gargle left his throat as he was been choked. Slowly, his vision started to blur and he soon faded into unconsciousness. Dae Hyun let out a dark chuckle as he put on the seatbelt on Chan Yeol and drive out.
He arrived at his place and carried Chan Yeol into the basement and chained him to the table, he left him there and locked the door, then he worked out a bit before taking his bath.
Dae Hyun Went into the basement and saw Chan Yeol awake trying to free himself without taking notice of him until he let out a short maniacally laughter.
"What are you doing sunbae?" Chan Yeol asked startled. Dae Hyun ignored and put on his plastic coverall and gloves, then taking a black box he said,
"Making you beautiful...You know people don't know that death is the real beauty." He said, making Chan Yeol stare at him in confusion.
"What? Let me go!" He yelled and Dae Hyun just gave a sarcastic smirk.
"But I haven't made you beautiful yet." He replied and Chan Yeol just stared at him like a maniac.
"You're completely crazy!" Chan Yeol yelled.
"You should never call a psychopath crazy, it'll just make them upset more." Dae Hyun said as he brought out a small knife from one of his knife pockets while Chan Yeol had a horrified expression on his face.
"You want to kill me because I asked you to drink with us?..No.." He yelled but Dae Hyun completely ignored him giving him a cold glare as he taped his mouth closed and said
"You should keep your mouth shut, I only need your eyes open." He said with a maniacally grin on his face as he enjoyed the raw fear he was getting from him.
