Chapter 3: Chapter 3

Sitting in the teacher's lounge I was a tooth's picks width away from my patience snapping and just yeeting one of these teachers out of a building to send a message.

"Therefore as a child, you shouldn't be running around with a firearm, to begin with." Shido Koichi said and literally, as I took him in I couldn't help but I realized he looked so much more like a fucking rat sleazy bastard than I could imagine from what he looked like in the anime. Just being around the man I felt dirty... No, just being around him I could feel my karmic battery within myself revolt against the man's presence.

I lazily looked at the man and there was a faint sound of scraping as I raked my nails across the metal of the battle axe. I kept up the tense silence before I spoke.

"Shido be quiet... Your father's connections in the diet and political power mean nothing with the end of the world, keep your head down as a good number of students hate you." I said simply before focusing on the rest of the teachers and staff members for the school. "Ladies, how many days of food do we have if we include the increase in need of food with the teachers and other staff members?" I asked and the head of the lunch ladies pulled out a chart with the information and she began speaking.

"Sir, we luckily just restocked food this morning but if we are feeding all three meals for all three thousand students we will only have enough food for the next three days instead of the week and a half that we are supposed to keep stocked." She explained pushing the graph across the table to me and it clearly outlined the portions of food and the stock of the premade foods they had in stock along with their vegetables and meat as Japan wasn't like America doing only square cheap pizza and the equivalent of prison food for their public schools.

"Hmm... I see." I muttered as I took in this list. "What would be better, whole crates filled with canned goods like corn, beets, meat, and other stuff or would it be easier for your ladies to prepare food for all the students with more raw food that we will acquire before it goes bad." I asked and before the ladies answered Shido interjected again.

"We shouldn't be leaving the school at all! You already fortified it and the JSDF will obviously take control of the situation so there is no need to leave the school and risk people getting infected." He said almost convincingly and I coldly looked at the man.

"I will not tell you to shut up again," I said bluntly and then looked to the ladies. "Speak... We will not assume that people will come to save us as they will not. This is a pandemic spreading across the entire world and thus something Japan and its overly tight gun restrictions will have issues dealing with." I said equally bluntly as sure America with its guns that were greater in number than actual citizens had a decent shot of containing the zombies for a bit but let's be honest... I doubted there was as much ammo here in Japan then there were people.

The lunch ladies shared a look and had a quick discuss but thankfully Shido kept his mouth shut as several other teachers began softly speaking to one another before I opened my eyes as I heard a distant explosion and all the teachers jumped but I spoke.

"Relax that was likely the sounds of a car's engine exploding. Now ladies do you have an answer?" I asked as I mentally went over the process by which I could get backup generators and have them sealed up in the school's large basement with a faraday cage or something around it so an EMP wouldn't fry it.

"Yes uhm, we think it would be best for you to acquire spoilable food now before it can go bad so we can cook it but we will also need those canned and less perishable products." I nodded in agreement as I wondered if I use my mine craft powers to make potato and carrot farms out of the large soccer field.

Either way, I needed a bunch of carrots and some other stuff before I did something like that.

"Good then while the sun is still up I will be taking out the chairs of the sports buses and then we will head to some kind of distribution center to get the wholesale of foods and stuff... We will obviously need to stockpile feminine products as well." I finished wryly and a couple of teachers blushed but looked at me like I was the coming of Jesus for remembering that detail.

The door to the staff room slid open and I turned in my chair quickly with my axe pointed at the ground slightly as I saw a small crowd of teenagers led by Saya Takagi who folded her arms over her chest as she spoke. "Don't think to just discuss our futures without our input." She said strongly I raised an eyebrow as she strode forward. "As a genius, I can help make a concise plan of attack upon a distribution center and coordinate the loading of supplies into the buses and trucks to bring back into the school!" She continued proudly and I snorted raising a hand towards her and her group that trailed into the room with her.

"And these students are volunteering for putting themselves in harm's way?" I asked tiredly as it looked like they were all a stiff breeze away from screaming in hysterics as these kids were still stressed to the limit after looking out the window to see people being torn apart and eaten.

Granted I myself was a little squicked out at the sight and the experience of killing the zombies but I was a hunter in my old life so dealing with kills and dressing them was well ingrained into my heart. So the sight of blood and viscera didn't send me into a panic.

"Do any of you know how to drive a forklift?" I asked as I thought the whole group was likely to be deadweight other than maybe Takashi the original main character of the world, and I blinked as a young man with short black hair raised his hand awkwardly.

"Uhm I am actually forklift certified as I needed a job to pay for my little sister's private all girls schooling... Is it possible you could also go to my sister's school and bring her here?" He asked softly and then he took out his wallet and showed me an ID with an obviously fake age on it with his picture and the words 'This certificate is to verify the owner has completed the required courses at Tokyo trade school and is fully licensed and trained in the use of light machinery such as forklifts and smaller construction equipment.'

"Well, shit... I can make a stop to try to pull her and some more kids out but god knows if the school has been overrun already." I said softly as I was told the only other staff member who typically would do the forklift work to bring in the pallets of food had left early today and no one could get in contact with him.

I sighed as I realized the weight of possibility upon myself. I can agree and try to find this dude's sister at her private school and get him to wholeheartedly risk his life getting food and stuff we need, or I blow him off, consigning that sister to death almost certainly along with all those other girls at that all girls school...

The only reason I was actually considering this beyond you know saving a whole bunch of people which will help me with my karmic battery, was that using a fork lift wasn't easy and I would be fucking pissed if some dumbass even myself had the forklifts prongs wrong when they went to pick up a pallet and said dumbass dropped the pallet on the ground from the second or higher level from where it was taken from, ruining the food within.

"Where is the school." I asked the kid and the teachers raised their voices saying it was too dangerous but I raised a hand.

"It's actually on the way to the distribution center you pointed out." He said and I sighed and I began to tap my hands on the table beside me before I stood up.

"Alright fuck it. Come with me Mr. Forklift Certified and you, you and you come with me to drive the buses and trucks. I will be in front killing any crowds of zombies that get in our way." I said pointing at people before continuing to speak. "Look we have short wave radios for track and field stuff so drivers stay on the call and if you get surrounded... Well, normal zombies cannot break through the reinforced plexiglass of a bus, as even smaller caliber bullets can't either." I said and the teachers I pointed out calmed down as I was obviously taking their safety seriously.

So then I moved some people around as we couldn't have a couple of dozen teenagers following us, filling up the buses and trucks that we were going to use to cart the girls of the next school we were going to.

I even ripped out the seating and used the shitty welding equipment to weld on some thin metal bars across the windows and front panels of the trucks and buses to reinforce it a bit which took only half an hour and then I even put in a Minecraft lever based gate in front of the parking lot exit.

"Alright tell him where we need to go. I am going to relax for a bit." I said as I had Mr. Forklift Certified guide the male teacher of the school to drive towards that school and I snorted as I heard the back door of the bus slam shut with two stowaways joining us.

Taking in said stowaways I raised my hand as I saw the driver about to object. "Miss Seako Busujima and Takashi I assume with how you are armed that you plan to come with us?" I asked blandly and they nodded with Saeko speaking and her voice was honestly distracting with how demure and pleasant her voice came out to be.

"Yes, we are well prepared for combat and any consequences we may face during it. But I want to know the dangers we face." She said and I shrugged as the bus drove out and the Minecraft stone gate was closed with sticky pistons.

"Alright suit yourself but keep close and I will do my best to keep you both alive," I said frowning as I saw how even a block down from the school, the road was filled with zombies though thankfully with our bus being more modern it was almost silent but even still zombies heard the bus and began running at a light jog if not sprinting madly at the slow-moving buses and trucks from the school that had to drive around the abandoned cars and such.

The zombies hadn't had enough time for their bodies to slow down and weaken as although the Back 4 Blood worms form of infection was keeping their biomass and bodies 'alive' they weren't capable of taking in sustenance to keep that same level of high intensity within their body until the host itself began to mutate into special infected.

"I am curious about something," Saeko asked as she held onto the side of the bus to stand beside me and I was actually impressed as she didn't react beyond a glance of disinterest to the zombies that rammed into the bus and I mentally thanked myself for making sure to weld on some metal caging around the vehicles. "Why is your gun thing an axe rather than a sword or something more common?" She asked bluntly and I smiled at her question.

"Because, Saeko I-." I said and she cut me off with a raised eyebrow.

"I never said you could use my first name... But I like it and calling me Busujima is a mouthful anyway." she said smiling and snickering making me match her smile and I continued on about how axes were by far much easier weapons to use than a sword, and frankly with it being a short ranged axe as well as a battle axe with its lengthening pole I had a lot more options than a sword that wouldn't be able to change its length as easily.

Plus the length-changing feature, allowed me to easily switch between using sniper rounds and rifle rounds, with the sniper rounds scaled from the simple long-range rounds that were equal to a fifty caliber to the crazy Dust rounds that were so common in RWBY so I could literally launch myself around with gravity rounds.

"Would you be open to sparing at some point, sword against axe to prove your words?" She asked challengingly and I realized as she leaned towards me that she was flirting in her own way as I could see down her shirt with her large breasts pushing out her lapel of her dress shirt.

"You are on then." I said honestly interested in the match as I sure as hell wasn't a mad talent with the sword like she was. But I was still interested to see where I stood with my super human abilities but before we could banter more I heard the driver cough as he said that we were almost there and I could see the walled school with an actual five-meter-high painted concrete wall to keep people and their eyes off the interior of the girls school.

"Ah shit..." I cursed as we drew towards the gate of the school and yeah the whole front gate was fucking rammed in by some dumbass who tried to drive their soccer mom van through the gate and as I came out of the bus killing all the zombies in front of the school I saw how the person inside the van was a woman who was clearly infected as she whirled around still bound in the seatbelt.

But thankfully although the van had broken the gate and gotten stuck on its bent metal bars none of the zombies seemingly got into the school from the outside. Though it was obvious from the blood splatters dotting the grounds and the couple of younger girl zombies on the inside of the school's gate trying to get at us that the zombies had gotten to the students on some level. Whether it be infected food, water, or whatnot. Somehow the infection had gotten in.

"Saeko, Takashi, stay five steps behind me and keep away from doors and windows if you can." I finally warned them as I used a couple of dirt blocks to scale over the school's wall and then blocked off the doors to the idle buses and trucks to make the drivers feel better.
